The problem is that I can not install the original RUU (Danish version) I get an "Error 155" when I do it. I have tried to make S-Off from the "HTC One AIO kit", but it says "device not found"
You are S-On. Most likely that's why can't install RUU. you should look yo install ARHD 31.6 and S-off. Then you can install RUY

boot your phone in TWRP main menu, make sure your arhd zip is in your adb/fastboot folder of your computer.
Code:
adb push <name_of_rom_file>.zip /sdcard/
then in twrp select ''install''

Hmm It says error: run rumrunner again and READ (no adb connettion to the device. Debugging on??Drivers?)
I have debugging on and installed the drivers. And I have tested that adb connection is there for the device (show serial code to the device)
I have closed all antivriuses (Bitdefender and windows firewall).
I click on soju.exe when I have the phone opened in the program (ROM) HTC sense.
Any ideas..?
make sure your phone is connected via a USB 2.0 port - forsome reason it doesn't like USB 3.0.
also are you using the old method or the universal method? i suggest finding your phone's mainversion via ADB and see if there's a rumrunner app that matches the main version number.

I have tried the universal one here: http://rumrunner.us/downloads-2/
I also tried one of the verizons with ROM: 1.10.605.2 and everything was ok, until I get a message "Fu*k it..............continuously......."
How can I see mainversion via adb?

Running Windows. I have a folder called Android and in it are adb and fastboot, not sure how I install them, I did install some things when unlocking the bootloader
try to install the recover in PG32IMG format
This may seem like odd question do u have S-OFF and have you installed Super user?
if you have try installing rom manager from your device you can get it for free in the market from there you can install clockworks right away from that program.
I hope i have helped.
As I asked a friend bought me an IncS oversea, he updated to the latest version thus I'm having hboot 2.0. I have unlocked the device using htcdev, now can I flash CWM through ROM Manager? I'm new to HTC devices.

I would say so as its what the app is designed for, but as I have never used ROM Manager I cannot be 100%.
I have always flashed recovery through fastboot
So after htcdev unlocked I can just follow this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=14693680 ? As I can't S-OFF using rev tool.

Hello everyone,
I have a HTC One which I want to unroot. I downloaded several Ruu's, but al of them gave the same error. The relocking of the bootloader was succesful. But then the story begins. It is first trying to "Update signature" (Not sure for the exact English words, because its in dutch). Then an error window comes up witch says that i have to find the right update tool and should try again.
I tried several times, but with the same result. I first tried to unroot from Android Revolutioin HD 12.0, then I tried a different rom to unroot from, Vanilla Rootbox. I also removed the HTC drivers and installed them again.
When I try to unlock the bootloader again, the phone runs into a bootloop. So my phone is useless at the moment.
edit: Oh, if forgot: when in bootloop, I can enter bootloader/recovery with vol down/power, but in recovery i cant acces my internal sd-card...
Can someone please help me?
What is your CID? You have to use the correct RUU for your phone unless you're supercid or s-off. Any other will fail.

- Download/extract mini sdk link
- Boot in fastboot
- CMD: fastboot oem lock

Afterwards I tried to push a rom zipfile using ADB, first I tried to push to /data/media/0/:
"Failed to copy 'rom.zip' to '/data/media/0/': Is a directory"
Then It succeed using /data/media/ but when I tried to flash, it said "Can't mount /sdcard/"
So is trying to S-off the still the right way?
I suspect the RUU is failing because you've got a 4.2.2 rom and you've been trying to flash 4.1.2 RUUs, so it's failing the version check even though you have your original hboot. Try flashing a stock 4.1.2 rom, and if that doesn't work, try s-off.

Just download the ruu.exe file to your PC, turn oo your phone on and connect it to your PC (driver should be installed).
Just double klick at the ruu.exe file and wait ... you have to confirm some popups ..

Hello XDA,
I have noticed a lot of Sprint(CDMA) HTC One users on the latest 4.3/4.4.2 OTA are flashing 4.3/4.4.2 GSM roms and soft bricking their devices lately.
I have personally rescued a several devices in the past couple months so I'm posting this guide in hopes that it will save some headaches and stress for Sprint users.
This guide is for Sprint HTC One users only.
3.04.651.2 RUU Thanks @OMJ
3.05.651.6 RUU From HTC
4.06.651.4 RUU Thanks @OMJ and @-viperboy-
5.03.651.3 RUU Thanks @OMJ **Note you will have to update your hboot to 1.57 in order for this RUU to work...solution is flash the 5.03.651.3 s-on firmware first.**
5.05.651.2 RUU
6.23.651.6 RUU Latest from htc.com
Device not recognized? (If you are using Windows 8.1 this will most likely not work unless your hboot is 1.55 or 1.56 or 1.57)
On your PC go to device manager and find your phone(usually M7WLS), right click and select properties
Select the driver tab
Select update driver
Select browse my comp
Let me pick
Look for ADB USB device or similar should be one of the first couple choices
Select MyHTC install and you should be good
Latest HTC Drivers AFH
Video showing how to flash the firmware Thanks @thoughtlesskyle
If you are S-OFF flash
3.04.651.2 s-off firmware
3.05.651.5 s-off firmware
3.05.651.6 s-off firmware
4.06.651.4 s-off firmware
5.03.651.3 s-off firmware
5.05.651.2 s-off firmware (Sense 6) and you are done.
If you are already on 4.06.651.4 or 4.06.651.9 you will have to flash the 3.05.651.6 s-off firmware first...reason being is the 4.06 s-off firmware does not have the latest radio included (use the same commands from 5.)
6.23.651.6 s-off firmware Latest and most likely the last.
**Note the 5.03.651.3 firmware has a new radio so no need to flash the older version to get the radio.**
If you are s-on follow these steps ALL the way to the end (there are no shortcuts unless you are s-off and step 9 is optional as noted)
1.Download
3.04.651.2 s-on firmware
3.05.651.5 s-on firmware
3.05.651.6 s-on firmware
4.06.651.4 s-on firmware
5.03.651.3 s-on firmware
5.05.651.2 s-on firmware (Sense 6)
6.23.651.6 s-on firmware Latest and most likely the last.
2.Rename it firmware.zip (put the firmware.zip into the platform tools folder or the folder attached below)
3.Boot to bootloader
4.Lock bootloader(fastboot oem lock)
5.Then use these commands:
Code:
Fastboot oem rebootRUU
Fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
Fastboot reboot-bootloader
6.If you get this error after the second command(most likely will)
Code:
failed 90 hboot pre-update! please flush image again immediately
press the UP Arrow on your keyboard and press enter to issue the command again.
7.Then unlock the bootloader again and re-flash Latest TWRP. (before formatting go to setting/screen and disable screen timeout)
8.Within Latest TWRP select Wipe > Format Data(it will ask you to confirm by typing YES) once done adb push a rom to your phone (adb push nameofrom.zip /sdcard/ ).
8a. If you are using the 4.06.651.4 s-on firmware I would suggest you push this Stock Rooted Odexed Rom to your device or it may not boot.
8b. After flashing the 4.06.651.4 rom you will most likely need to flash the latest radio because the 4.06 firmware does not have a radio included find it HERE
8c. If you are using the 5.03.651.3 s-on firmware I would suggest you push this 5.03.651.3_Stock | Rooted | 4.4.2 | Sense 6 to your device or it may not boot.
8d. If you are using the 6.23.651.6 s-on firmware I would suggest you push this [STOCK ROM] [5.0.2] [SENSE 6] Sprint 6.16.651.2 AND 6.23.651.3 to your device or it may not boot.
9.Optional but recommended: S-OFF using Sunshine
10.Win lol :victory:
Thanks @OMJ for the firmware
Thanks @thoughtlesskyle for the 5.03.651.3 firmware and stock odex rom
Thanks @beaups and @Fuses for Rumrunner and Firewater

is that a 4.4 GPE ROM?
4.4 ROMs require TWRP 2.6.3.3+
and 4.4 GPE ROMs usually require S-Off, otherwise they'll bootloop

can you be a bit more specific about the error; maybe copy/paste command prompt.

Ok, after some more reading and research i've finally managed to load ViperOne 3.5.0 rom. TWRP (2.6.1.0) says it's there and there's a backup done, But in bootloader mode it says S-ON, unlocked and rooted but the htc one just keeps rebooting all the time gets to white screen (htc quietly brilliant) and that's it........ then reboots over and over, until i manually press power and volume down to go to bootloader or recovery screen......
Any ideas?

did you select WIPE in the installer? if not reinstall using WIPE, and in TWRP, wipe cache and dalvik. (it's in Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> select Dalvik and Cache only, then swipe to wipe)

Problem is that phone is stuck @ HTC logo
Before that phone was rooted and twrp recovery installed.
Customer do something from recovery (that he unable to describe), then phone stuck @ HTC logo.
I am trying to install RUU.exe but not find any RUU that match with 0s: 3.62.401.1 and radio and CID : Htc__j15.
Then I am trying to s-off for flashing different firmware by supercid, but I failed to s-off because phone is stuck @HTC and don't found as adb
so rumrunner_HTC_0.5.0 tool unable to recognized it.
Now unable to downgrade hboot to 1.44 and s-off the device and find any compatible ruu.exe
I tried factory reset both from Bootloader and recovery but no luck.
Now phone is Stuck @ HTC logo . If I select Boot-loader (Hboot) Nothing found in device manger,
CWM Recovery accessible, only fastboot and oem ruu mode assessable (fastboot oem rebootRUU) and by this it is recognized by ruu.exe
what to do? any method to s-off in this situation or any suggestion?
Thanks.

Problem solved by Adb sideload method.
Phone is alive now
this si my first time writing on this forum.ive been stuck with no OS on my One,hboot 1.55,os-3.62.401.1(4.3),unlocked bootloader, with TWRP,with superuser acces.I acidentali delete my whole os and data/system/nternal... in TWRP.TWRP coudnt mount data/system/dalwik cache/internal storage-nothing.i get bootloop.then i get problem with superuser- in TWRp.Tryed to push or sideload many roms and zips, but adb coudnt recognize my device in the way it should.so,with no os and nothing on my internal storage, and getting problem with superuser in TWRP,i tried to run ruu.zip.it start but stuck cuz i was unlocked bootloader and not s-off.so i go from the bigining.I tried to sideload too,but i failed!!!this is what i done---Relock bootloader.Unlock bootloader.Flash latest CWM recovery.Thru cwm i flash cm 10.1.It boots!!then flash susuperuser.zip to gain root.with root checker i chech if i manage root.if not,use another superuser.zip...then i flash ARHD 11 to try s-off(fail).then i flash ARHD 52.0,again check my root.then i run firewater and get S-off.I see many people stuck with no os and with adb problems,or cant get s-off to retun to stock or run the device which is in bootloop.this is how i manage to un-softbrick my One,and to get S-off
Sory for my english, and sory if the thread is wrong.I just want to help if someone got stuck in bootloop/with no os/with no S-off to run ruu.zip or any rom.
( Im not responsible if you brick your device, this is just sugestion and way how i did it)
