Hi,
I've noticed that after 4.3 upgrade, I have less wifi performance in range than 4.1.2 official ROM or KK OmniRom/CM based ROM.
Am I the only one with this problem?

(Official "Samsung" firmware)
- In terms of Battery life, the official Gingerbread (2.3.6) firmware is the best in my opinion...
- In terms of more features, performance enhancements and improvement, the official Jellybean (4.1.2) firmware is better
(ROMs based on Official "Samsung" firmware)
- JetMOD is the one and the only "best" ROM that is based on Gingerbread firmware for Gingerbread users..
- Sami OS, HarshJelly, LightJB, JellyMOD, etc. are the best custom ROMs for Jellybean users...
(Unofficial ROMs and Builds)
We've got CM (10, 10.1 and 10.2), PAC, MIUI (v4 and v5), Paranoid, Carbon, etc.. BUT they are all in Alpha stage (as far as I know, but they are still usable.. so expect a few bumps and hiccups.. for more info check their respective threads)
For more info, checkout this and this :good:
PS: Asking questions like "what's the best ROM, X or Y?" isn't allowed.. because they are all products of their developer's hardwork.. plus the answer varies from person to person

Battery drain was because of a bug in Google play services.
But after the update of play services as on 27 June I have noiced a decent increase in battery life.
go ahead and update :good:
I'm currently on Sense 6 Kitkat rom with the 6.09.401.5 firmware. I am bored and fancy trying one of the 5.1 aosp or cm based roms for a while. I appreciate the rom will probably work with my current firmware, but for optimal battery and signal what firmware should I flash for this?
Thanks,.

I was on the basically the same firmware when I first ran CM12. I used it for a while (~a week or two), then flashed to 7.17.1540.21. I didn't find that it gave me any noticeable improvement in battery or signal.
What is the best ROM to play Pokemon GO?
I think the 4.1.2 stock had the best gaming experience.
Secondly 4.3 stock rom is the best for gaming.
And thirdly, 4.4 is the best.
You can try Lollipop, Marshmallow but they wont give the performance same as 4.4 or 4.3.
I think you should flash 4.4 (PAC ROM - CM Rom) or 4.3 (stock or stock based).

Hello everyonw, I've got a problem with my Xperia Z3 Compact:
Recently, my device, which is running Android 6.0 MM has too slow internet speed. I tried to flash it back to Stock Android 5.1, then 5.0, even Cook rom based on these version, but no changes. Finnally, I flash it back to KK then the problem is fixed.
However, I don't want to stay at Android 4.4. Anyone can tell me what is this problem and how to fix it? Thank you very much.
(Sorry for my bad English).
