Hi,
I've a problem for few days:
My NOTE3 doesn't stay in MUTE or VIBRATE mode for long time.
Return in SOUND mode randomly.
I won't erase all data
What can I do ?
The first and best trouble shooting step would be a factory reset. I dont really see any other options, friend.

Are you sure you aren't hitting the volume up button? I thought I had that problem on my note 2 but it turned out to be a problem with the volume buttons on a case. Shaved them down a little and the problem went away.

TIA
it can be in car mode.
how would i take it off from car mode?
should be in your settings.. or possibly the car mode is just stuck on you try rebooting? or reloading stock could be a bad download or install)

IF you use Go SMS, it's that. There was a bug that caused phones to enter speakerphone immediately on call. They updated it and it's fixed. Happened to mine, too.
ok thanks yea i guess it was go sms ! so weird! i never an application can effect a phone like that!?
another question now are any the GO dev. apps effecting anyones external speaker? seems like im missing calls and alarms because the speaker isnt lound anymore!
Hello,
I got this magnificent device a week ago and I experienced a problem it has with vibrating.
When I put it on vibration mode it vibrate but when I put it on a regular mode (sound & vibration) the device doesn't vibrate when I got a call,
I checked at the system settings and the vibration is on full power,
please help me with the problem cause it is really frustrating.
By the way I'm using nova launcher and android 4.0.3.

Yeah that's a bug in the leaked version of ICS and roms based on that. You can go ahead to play store (android market) and install this app - volume ace - https://play.google.com/store/apps/...xLDEsIml0LmJyYWluY3Jhc2gudm9sdW1lYWNlZnJlZSJd
And in its profile just put the phone in ringing and vibration mode. Now the phone will ring and vibrate simultaneously!!
Hit thanks if it helped!
It didn't help,
the program only let's you control the audio power,
the only thing about vibration the program has is the option to put the phone on silent&vibration mode.
thanks anyway..
It works. Check the attached screenshot. Enable the options highlighted and just restart the phone and restart the volume ace and see if the options you selected are still showing as selected (doesn't get revert to default). Now whenever a call comes the phone will ring and vibrate
It helped !
where do I hit thanks? I cant find it..
Oh..
It worked.. You win 1 thanks and 4 internets!!!
Glad it worked for you both !!
Enjoy your Note
Cheers!!
Still no vibration

Yes, I have, I was on Abyss kernel before switching to Hydracore. I did not work back then either.
I got results when doing:
echo 1000 > /sys/.../vibrator/enable
Otherwise, nothing.
Can anyone upload the symlinker function, ortell me where to get it ? If I can find out what is being called py apps when trying to vibrate, I may symlink it to beforementioned /sys/.../vibrator/enable.
Regards from Switzerland
vibration dont work
I just install this ROM : Ultimate_N7000_LSC_JB_4.1.2_v5.1 , and vibration dont work at all.
Any suggestion ????
Hello everyone,
So recently I updated my Atrix HD to a 4.1.1 ( I have ATT), what I noticed besides the missing timer and mass storage etc. Is that when there is an incoming call or text i cant turn off of the ringer by switching to vibrate from the security screen :crying: or by pressing the power button or by pressing the volume buttons is anyone else having this issue ? If so is there a fix besides permanently leaving my phone in vibrate which is unpractical.
It works fine for me Did you try rebooting your phone? The only other thing I can think of to fix it would be a factory reset.

Hello and Happy Turkeyday to all. I have an issue with my wife's note. When she gets any notifications they turn the screen on and it doesn't turn off. I feel pretty knowledgeable about the android O.S. in a whole, I have my S5 rooted and running AICP. I just can't figure out why the notifications cause the screen to stay on. Has anyone else had this problem maybe you could help shed some light on my issue. Thanks in advance.
Is the phone rooted?
Sent from my SM-N910T using Xparent Pink Tapatalk 2
No she won't let me root her phone.
Same problem
I have the exact same problem on my Note 4 (N910F).
My phone is rooted and I have had the problem from the start.
I am also running a custom kernel now but the problem persists.
Any ideas on why this is happening anyone? I've got it to not turn the screen on for a notification but now it won't turn off when plugged in.
Turn off the lock screen notifications, or everything you can on the lock screen settings, most likely something is causing the screen to wake lock. My bet is the weather widget.

I just searched for the same problem on the Galaxy s5 and someone said to download wakelock-detector to see if it's an app.
Will keep you updated if it helps.

So a little update, so far, my problem seems to be fixed.
After the app told me that Dsploit was causing a lot of screen-on time, I disabled the app.
Haven't had it happen so far today so I hope this helps you too.

Can anyone else have other fix? I have new note 4 with rom stock and very few apps (5-8 apps)
the "Wakelock Detector-Save Battery" app requird root this not my phone so I can't root for now.
If you have very few apps installed, uninstall those apps one by one to see which one is potentially keeping the screen on. Otherwise, do a factory reset, clear cache; also ensure power button is sticky and is fully functional.

Hi all,
in the last two days, my G Watch R is turning off randomly.
Sometimes I look at it, and it is off.
I must hold the button to turn it on again.
Does anyone know how to fix it?
Have I to bring it to service?
My software version is 4.4w.2 build knx01r
Thanks

Please Help!
Look at the battery gauge, it seem the only reason for watch turn off and stay off.
Battery is not empty, today i saw a lot of random turning off.
Factory reset of the watch and use without install any apps (uninstall watch apps/watchface from phone before).
It reset again -> RMA
How have you solved the problem?
