I connect to spモード
There also seems to be a hidden APN called docomo tethering (which can only be seen in non-docomo ROMs), I'm running 10.3.A.0.423 on my SO-02E.
Before I upgraded to a non-docomo ROM and while I was still using a docomo FW, I used Ti Backup to back everything up and restoring Phone/Messaging Storage (SMS/MMS/APN) fixed my APN.
Hi lanceBUKAKAKE *lol*
thanks, i realised in the end i can only get it to work when i connect via spmode.
are you on the 4.2.2 firmware now?

Ya I'm on 4.2.2 now (10.3.A.0.423). I'm liking how you can now change which quick setting are displayed and their order. The other thing I like about Generic ROMs is I can disable LTE (to save battery) and only use it when I'm tethering. High-speed FOMA (3G) is good enough and since I'm always on the train LTE really doesn't do much good - I like the choices.
If you have an sp-mode contract option, like most users, you should be connecting to spmode.ne.jp.
You NEVER want to be using mopera U 設定. That is pay per packet (325 yen/mbyte) with NO plan discounts applied.

I'm using C6603_10.3.A.0.423_Generic ES. When flashing I suggest NOT wiping anything so all your settings are intact. I used DooMLoRD Easy Rooting Toolkit (v15) to root it.
Japanese keyboard still works.
i wiped everything, only things you need to know:
- NFC not working. (already knew that before i flashed)
- APN settings need to be entered.

is there any chance osaifu keitai will work with the international rom?

not sure - I'm only assuming that it would be physically possible since the hardware is there. I guess someone would have to port the files over and test it.
I tried porting 1-seg over but couldn't get it working.
really eager to try 4.2.2 as there is no date from docomo about the update.. but i cant lose services like osaifu keitai..
osaifu keitai utilises the NFC doesnt it?
i read somewhere the NFC found in intl version and japanese version are not the same.
so chances are nfc will not be working, until you flash a japanese rom.
If I'm not mistaken, the japanese version (so-02e) have both the standard NFC and felica-based for osaifu keitai. Either way, I'm going to try it anyway, have already backed up all my setting.. wish me luck making it working..

They have NFC-A _ONLY_ if you go to the docomo shop and get a pink sim for it. The situation is a little different than the standard versions.
Standard version: NFC-A secure element in handset body.
SO-02E: Felica secure element in handset body, NFC-A secure element in sim.
Any One Tried Flashing International Firmware on DOCOMO Version..? I am really bored with this 4.2.2 version on my xperia z
Hello,
Before this i was a proud owner of the HTC Diamond 2 (Topaz). That was an amazing phone back than.
But on topic:
I have/had a developer edition HTC when i bought it and after updating the phone to 4.2.X the developers function was gone.
My question is that if i restore my phone to the default factory settings, is there a chance that the developer functions will come back?
Second question is (don't know if it is the right section for this topic):
I wanted to unlock and root my phone via the HTCdev site, but after i submited the code it gave me an error. Don't remember the error code though.
This because i want the google edition so badly. Unless 4.4 kitkat is coming with the standart google edition over sense, than it's worth waiting and avoid warranty void.
Sorry for my bad English

Hey folks
I need some CDA strings for the C5303.
Back in the DB2010/2020/3150/3200 days we used to have people making (almost) complete lists for the CDA strings, but now it seems to be quite hard to find any information.
I'm currently looking for
Generic Germany - the version that comes with mcaffee and myxperia. I downloaded an ftf from the firmware thread called Generic_DE, that one comes without any bloatware though.
Telekom Germany
So, whoever bought a C5303 in Germany with or without Telekom branding, please report back here.
Thanks! :good:
Actually, I could figure it out myself if anybody can tell me where in the world Flashtool hides all the logs from previous operations?
After some more searching I found this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49852627&postcount=1427
Still, I'd love to know whether/where flashtool saves the logs.
Also, it would be great if someone could confirm these CDA strings:
1271-0334 - generic, bought without contract from a retailer in Germany
1272-4703 - Telekom (contract)
Hey guys,
i've got my new Z1 (c6903) last month, and installed the rooted fw (.757) right away.
now i want to go back to the fw my carrier had installed on it.
but to do so, i need to change the build.prop from the standard ncb to my carrier.
how can i do that successfully?
i know that it involves changing the si-number but isn't entirely clear which steps it involves.
if this is a double post, i'm sorry. i used the search function on the z1 forums.
thanks guys!

Check first step.
Of course, you have to know your customisation number.
On Z2 it's written on small piece of paper (you can find it if you open sdcard flap and pull out one plastic drawer)
I know same thing can be found on Z1 but I'm not sure is it in sdcard compartment or sim card - check that...

I am using an unlocked htc one m8 sprint version in bangladesh. It is on android marshmallow stock now. I am s off but the bootloader is locked. And i have super cid. That is not the topic thou anyway my problem is the internet icon always shows 'g' icon instead of 3g h or h+ . I am not rooted and is there any way that i can get the international icons instead of the gsm g icon. Point I AM NOT ROOTED. Thanks
I was facing the same issue after i flashed the MM rom was getting G all the time, it didnt even showed Edge (E).
I tried this method below and it worked, though 3g reception is very poor (doesnt work properly) it does show H.
In the default.xml file present in ( /system/customize/ACC)
look for these line
Code:

10

1

and change the value of sku_id & region from here (to your region) and then restart.
