Xperia Z and Sony MHL adapter - Xperia Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey, I have an Xperia Z C6603 and have just bought an original Sony MHL adapter IM750
I plugged in power source to adapter and hdmi to adapter and full HD TV.
I tried Netflix and video worked but no sound. I still had sound coming from the phone but not the TV.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thank you

Assuming it's a bug in the Xperia Z firmware as it works on a Z1 4.3 with no problems.

Xperia Z 3G USB Dongle Support

A silly doubt :
I have a 3G USB Modem, is there any way I can use them with my Z using any OTG Cable? This doubt occured, as most android tablets (even local made cheap ones) support this feature and am pretty concerned will my Z support or not?

I don't believe it will, try it there's harm in testing it out.
If it's just a plug and play usb wireless internet dongle it'll work.
But if you need to login through a Windows app or something then it won't.
Yes some Chinese and local tablets do work..

Thanks for your time.
I have heard that the sony live dock needs to be connected to a power outlet like wall plug to work.
Is it true.thanks

It depends, it didn't usee to with my Xbox pad, but it broke and I am using a sixaxis which asks me to connectivity power outlet, I use sixaxis app too when I don't have my dock on me

I've tried anda it really worked. I used sixasis app. You just have got to download the app, config your ps3 controller and conect it by bluetooth. You can download "maps" for playing the games. I personally enjoy playing Modern Combat 4.
I hope this help you.

If you are saying Screen Mirror then you can't, because Samsung Smart TV's doesn't have Wi-Fi Miracast certificate.
No.My samsung tv have wifi certificate.(so I can use internet with it).
And I want to do it without usb.

Maybe you have WiFi, but you don't have miracast.
Only way: use mhl adapter or a miracast dongle found on the internet

I have a Nokia AD-54 headphone adapter that wont even work with the Xperia SP.
Is there a way to make it work somehow? I just need 1 button and the mic
Bluetooth or via 3.5 mm jack?

If it is like the xperia arc ,then there is probs in using non Sony headphones, something to do with ground and earth wires being reversed.
