Xperia T or TX notification led

Hi all,
I noticed that my xperia TX are only showing one flash of white light when there is a incoming message and it can't seems to flash continuously like previous xperia handset. Is this a firmware issue? I have not upgrade the firmware and still using the initial 1.303.
Are you having the same issue?

I don't know is it a soft ware issue. Just don't a clean wipe and reinstall it to see how it goes after.
Use seus or pcc.

Is your notification working fine for u? Except from low battery I am able to get continuous flash periodically else the rest only one short flash

yes it is working fine on my tx.
and i meant to say "do a clean wipe" not "dont a clean wipe" sorry i was typing on my phone -.-

The Notification light on my TL doesn't light up for missed calls or messages either. Just one flash of white as you stated. It's very irritating. It's probably a software issue. I wish Sony would step up their games and fix it.

I am using light flow to control now. Which firmware are u at?

This is problem with deep sleep support. When you turn off extended mode (i have czech language) in battery power management (Settings), then LED blinking normal.

Help my phone keeps rebooting at random time when it is not suppose to

Hello i need help. My phone keeps rebooting itself at random times like playing a game,locking my phone,updafing stuffs and much more it doesnt happen all the same just 10/100 chance it does happen. I am using pandoriam 5.5 and was thinking of updating it to 5.7 but if the same issue happens in 5.7 i dont think i want a rooted phone anymore help????

Its nothing to think about... reflash and my gutt feeling say that the reboots disapear.
If not, via odin make a flash to stock.
If that didnt help.. it may be a hardware issue..

Thks i will try flashing the 5.7 version of pandoriam. Will you need to wipe data when flashing the same rom???

One more thing my phone hangs at certain periods making me unable to lock the screen or do anything and i have to take out the bat to restart it any help

Hi.
Yes.. if you dont wipe you could inheret the fault.
Factory wipe and then install rom.
Your other hang problem could be fixed to i think. Who knows in the end?

Maybe I just found another possible cause for this long lasting problem. Sorry for bothering this old thread again.
I reactivate old but gold Samsungs with 4G by flashing the most recent stable cfw available. So I did with some SGS3 LTE and I was wondering, why every phone had problems with it. One just curiously lost EFS wich led to continously booting (could be fixed by restore), one had a sudden problem with the powerbutton (could be fixed by soldering a new switch), one just didn't like the SoC-standby (setting kernel to min. 800MHz fixed that) and finally today I found the last one to have a problem with the screen. When the screen blacks out due to energysavings primarly the system loses the connection to the digitizer wich is not the main issue. But 30 seconds after the display shuts off, the standby comes in not so handy and the screen gets a short circuit wich leds to a reboot. So I tried to exchange with a shattered display with broken touch and, oh wonder, everything is working fine. I then connected the suspected display to another mainboard and guess what? Yes, it rebooted exactly 30 secs after the screen blacked out.
Is anyone here still on this device and can replicate my sightings? I'd love to use /e/ on all of these cute little thingies and maybe someone else could do this also by just replacing the display?

...a few facts to add: I tried "keep display active during charging" (development options) over night connected to a powerbank and it stayed on. Just locking the phone made it go nuts and reboot 30 secs after...

Network name does not appear correctly:
Can make calls/sms/internet without problems, but network name is either "No service" or "emergency calls only". It should be "vodafone P"
It was fine on .295 too.
Also, flashed other oficial firmwares customization, but did not solve anything. Problem continues
Repairing phone with PC Companion, didnt solve anything

Lost my headset, not alone.

Same flickering.. Agrrr.

Bluetooth still does not work properly with my car. Doesn't sync contacts and control from the car does not work. It did in 4.2.1.

Battery life seems much improved, which is nice!

Speaker is much louder now, Better Battery life, Estimate battery life is more accurate this time, 24hrs @ full charge. No more volume bug with different themes, phone does not gets very very hot when playing demanding games.
But blue flickering screen still exist.

Me too. how to solve that ?

1.205 is a very minor update. People at Sony say it fixed 10 bugs (some have to do with MMS & Bluetooth) and updated some Social Live app to the most recent version.

About "Blue flickering" did you try Disable HW Overlays in developer options ?
I´ve had tried and so far,problem is solved

"Phone power-off when battery at 100%" bug still present...
Today I founded my TX off in the morning.
Before this update I see what's happen when the phone power-off when battery is full, the battery drained alert message appears and the phone shuts down. Something on the battery management system is telling that the battery is empty and the OS turn off the phone.
I thought that this bug was fixed on this update.
Very annoying bug when you depends on your phone alarm system

Install 'safe charge' from Google play and enable it. Problem gone

Hey guys. My GF and I just got a Sony combo (V and Z1), and since I just got my KK update on the Z1, I thought of upgrading her Xperia V to the latest stock firmware. However, I get nothing through OTA or PC companion. Should I install this latest update over her 4.1? I keep hearing about annoying video camera bugs in the latest version... I'd want her to have a better interface and to fix the light sensor bug, but not if she's gonna suffer with the camera...

If she only wants to have a stable funktional rom, than 4.1 FW .140 is the best for V in my opinion.

I have a question for everyone who has the shut down bug when charging.
Did you ever (EVER!), reset the battery stats before this ocurred? I mean, even if it was 6 months before jb 4.3 was released.
Because i did that on mine before i upgrated it to 4.3. I followed the instructions blindly, thats why i did it.
But my gf also has the T. Modded same as mine. In fact i modded mine, made a cwm backup and restored it on her phone. So we have both the exactly the same settings.
Mine sometimes shuts down, hers never did that once.
And we're both on leaked .295 since january . The only difference is, her T never got its battery stats reset.

[Q] Illumination bar not working in standby

My phone's music beat effect has stopped working in standby (when music is playing) after 12.1.A.1.201 update.
It first worked when the screen was off while playing music but after several days, now it does not work. I even restarted my phone and also reset it but the problem is not resolved.
How to resolve this problem?

No, stamina mode as well as low battery mode are off.

Hum :/ try to reflash with flashtool a clean update, wipping the data an caché.
I dont know whi ur phone ia crazy :s

Eh.. To be honest this is not a feature but a small bug/error.
Normal the LEDS should go off when you turn your screen of while playing music. But for some reason the LEDS can stay on. Cause is unknown but it is not a real feature of the device

With Android 4.3 update, Sony started that the illumination bar (for music) will work even when the screen is off. So that's why I was a bit worried that it did not worked properly

Not true.. Because on the 4.1.2 version. If you were quick with opening walkman and pressing home you'll had the same effect even when display is off.
This is some sort of bug.... (i think)

I also have tried it and it worked. But I thought Sony has added it as a feature in its update.

I dont think it is a update or feature.. Since only works or happens sometimes.

[Q] apps randomely stop working and phone keeps optimising apps on reboot

Hi,
My Z3C keeps giving me notifications such as 'Google Play Services Has Stopped'. It applies to almost all apps and the apps that stop working are every time different ones.
In addition, when I reboot or boot my phone it keeps optimising apps. I get the notification 'Application 1 of 170 optimising'. A reboot takes up 10 minutes or more.
I have done factory resets and also used Sony's pc companion, but no help.
I really hope one of you guys know how to fix this.

I don't know exactly what you mean, but my phone is completely original with an OTA 5.1.1 update.
