Did you take necessary steps while unlocking? backing up TA and DRM keys?

Oh crap i didnt, my cellphone doesnt charge and doesnt power on so flashtool cant detect my xperia sp
EDIT: OK so i let the phone battery die, now when i connect the phone its charging but after like 5 minutes the red led turns off, plus when i connect it to my pc it instantly disconnects
I had similar issue when updating to 266 FW.
Let your phone 30min on wall charger
Try to flash only kernel with flashtool
If it success, you may be able to charge your phone, and after that make a full flash with flashtool.
It took me 2 days to solve the "brick".
If Flashtool doesen't prompt, try pushing the back power off button when entering in flash mode (vol down)

Hi guys, this is my first time posting here in xda,
I have a problem with my xperia T, it boot loops (starts up by showing the manufacturer logo, then shuts down, then starts up again)
and i didnt unlock my bootloader, and i didnt install CWM, no backups either
I only rooted the phone for the sake of chainfire, and when i installed it, it asked me to restart the phone and from there on the problem started.
I tried fastboot mode, but after 3-4 secs, the blue light disappears and the phone starts boot looping again,
I need help from you guys,
thanks y'all in advance

Also i dont see a back up and restore menu on my pc companion,

I would think that it would be the battery? give it a 10 minute charge and see if it starts
you do not need to turn your phone on for pccomapnaion to work.
Run pccompanion and run the software update and choose repair.
Only connect the phone when it prompts you

Hello all!
Ok so i just got my daughter the c5306 sp on virgin about 2 weeks ago. Her friend decides to show her the mcafee app and inputs a fake email and pin.
the phone is now LOCKED!
Literally can't do anything NOR can i find a hard reset option. i tried several key combination hoping for android recovery but NADA!
And the pc companion, useless in this situation as it needs me to unlock the phone for it to work... oh and that reset button on the back... crud!
any help, anyone know how to get to android recovery?
any help is much appreciated
the sony xperia range don't have a stock recovery built in unless cwm recovery was installed and rooted before your daughter was shown/given the phone.
If it was try shutting phone down then restart and start pressing (repeatedly) vol down to enter recovery but this will only help if a backup was made which you can restore if no backup exists you to follow the next step.
If not you need to shut down phone then either use sus,PCC,flashtools to reflash the phone.
I would recommend flashtools and find the ftf you need on Sp forum then use this to get phone back working

Omg this is amazing help!
Ok so I have flash tools, is there a specific way to use it, the instructions are a little unclear.
So SP forums and get stock tft to flash with flash tools? Ok I'll try to get ahold of it! Thank you

You can find the stock .ftf files here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2311964
You download and open flashtool (from here depending on your PC OS :http://flashtool.net/ )
Shut your phone down
From flashtool press the lighning button
Then select flashmode and press ok
Select the .245.ftf file (its the latest kernel released by Sony that you downloaded from the link above)
And then press flash
then it will open a new window showing a phones a usb cable and a back button
With your phone powered down you hold the "Volume Down" button down and while holding plug the Usb cable to your phone
It will take some time flashing the data and then it will say "Phone Connected in flashmode"
Disconect and boot the phone
This procces could Hard brick your phone so be careful and follow the steps!!!
If you are not willing to take the chance just do it with SUS
open it then go to update phone/tablet
fix phone/tablet and follow the instructions on the screen
But it will be ok i flashed kernel 4 times to my phone (for rooting it)
Good Luck
you can use SUS to reflash the fimware
Hi guys
Got a major issue here
was attempting to flash .569 firmware with @DooMLoRD s kernel for root, so I had to unlock my BL, i backed up the TA installed the kernel and foolishly restored my own TA on top of it.
My phone wont respond to anything that i know of although it will vibrate on power button and shows red led over time
any ideas guys?
EDIT - Managed to get into fastboot mode and reunlocked the BL, everything works fine now

This is a wrong section to post this.
Force power down your phone. Press power and vol up button until to free three vibration.
Download any ftf of the newest firmware, and flash the new firm ware via flashtool.
This should solve any problem.

relock a bootloader on custom kernel will cause that problem, all you need to do is either flash back stock kernel or unlock the bl again.

I'd try flashing my Xperia SP C5302 but when it was supposed to be done, I'd try turning on the phone, but it doesn't work. First it started booting with the Xperia and Sony logo, then the animation and kept looping. When I left it alone for hours, now I can't turn it on. it'll only keep flashing red light. when I plug to a charger, it goes to Green, then Red with SONY logo, then back to green. don't know what else to do.
P.S. I have the Flashtool 9.15 version and several C5302 ftf to choose from.
You should try flahing kernel only with flashtool.
You'll be able to charge your phone, and then, flashing whole FW
sent with a locked xsp running P.A.C.

how do I flash kernel only? are there instructions and files I need?
Based on my experience. That day i also got a bootloop. I follow all the step...in the end get bootloop
I did try to flash kernel again after bootloop, but can't.
In the end, i use SUS to update 266 stock rom.

This happened to me a few times when I first started out.
I kept notes in case it recurs in the future:
1. remove usb connector
2. open back cover and hold the 'OFF' pinhole for 10s until you get 3 vibration - this turns off the phone
3. press volume down, then insert usb charger (which is plugged to your pc) - this puts you into flash mode
3. open flashtool in pc and choose flashmode, and 266 kernel (or other kernel of your choice) to reflash. And follow the instruction to re-flash the working kernel
On item 1, google for where the 'OFF' hole is.
On item 3, you might want to fire up SUS or PC Companion rather than flashtool (I did not try this so don't know if it will work)
Hi guys , I tried to install a custom ROM on my Z1 today , and I did EVERY step correctly.
When I selected reboot system from the recovery menu , the only thing that existed was a black screen
The phone vibrates when holding the power button and there is a red blinking led when I connect it to a charger
Not sure if it is a hard brick , but I would do anything to fix it PLEASE GUYS I NEED YOU !!!!!!!
EDIT: Just noticed that when I connect to PC and do several button combinations a blue LED light turned on
Does it mean that it is some kind of soft brick ??
Try use flashtool to flash stock ROM, I remember red led means the phone is in the flashmode?
If you hold down voldown and plug into computer start flashtool and try reatore
Soft brick.
Get into flash mode and run flashtool with a legit ftf for your region (check cdf...or is it cda cant remember). If not then any ftf should do it.
Guessing you didn`t unlock your bootloader before you messed around with it?
Thank you very much guys ! I finally flashed stock ROM . I really appreciate your help :')
Thank you
