Ok, just got my mytouch today, and wondering what the "must have" apps are for this? Free or pay, what's good out there?
Papi jump is a must
beside games, Rings Extended is handy, so is Battery Widget.
down load the apppack from t-mobile and there are some good ones there. digital voice mail and fresh face (gives you more screens, although i paid for open home, more skins free and paid.)
search for a task killer. good for when phone boggs down. snap shot is a great camera- zoom and stuff.

That's what I felt like when I turned off the Shutter Sound in Camera 360... but honestly, the camera "KAASHIIISHK" sounds is cheesy, lame and just all around loud and annoying.
If I could change it and/or turn it down, I'd be happy. But no, I'm forced to go find some other app that lets me at least turn it off.

Miren Browser and ES File Explorer
All the apps mentioned are great.
Have any of you checked Miren Browser out yet? I discovered it a few days ago for my Droid X, and once I got tntlite working on this (now) amazing tablet, I installed Miren. Once of the nice things about Miren is that it lets you change your user agent to ipad. I was actually looking for something to change the user agent to Android, because that is what I am used to, but with Miren and the default Browser, I now have some nice viewing options.
I also cannot say enough about the ES File Explorer. I had always used Astro, but ES is amazing, especially if you are a Windows Home Server (WHS) user.
I have all of my music, movies and software on my WHS, and now with ES File Explored, I can easily copy and move files back and forth, and even backup my whole GTab and Droid-X onto my WHS, which itself backs up nightly, and will soon carbonite. IT also makes sideloading a snap, because I can download from my PC straight to my WHS software folder, and then install directly from the WHS.
