I installed the app, but when I give "Open SideBar" I exit the application and does nothing.
The phone is not rooted, not deleted applications, it may be because not rooted

Works flawless here, read the thread carefully. Anyway doesn't make sense to use it on our "tiny" screen, much better on large screens
P.S: Almost forgot, of course you need to be rooted to install xposed framework & the modules Otherwise no "sugar" for you:laugh:

[Q] Can't reboot after xposed framework installation!

Hello dudes, I currently use the MIUI V4 ICS 3.22 rom on my galaxy mini. Yesterday I have installed an app called greenify. I wanted to use the hole features of the app so I have installed the Xposed Framework. But after the restart my device is stopping rebooting at the bootanimation. With the deactivation zip on my sd card I could uninstall the framework. How can I bring the framework to work?
Thanks in advance!

Xposed is not compatible with any MIUI ROM and it will never ever be. At least not fully.
Your phone boots on recovery?

Yes it does! Too bad that Xposed isn't compatible with MIUI.
Yeah xposed framework does not work on miui roms..... You will get boot loops..... I also tried once.

If you have made nanroid backup wipe factory data / partition then format /system /data / cache and restore your backup or flash any rom.

Dude!
Should have read the installation instructions beforehand
The Xposed framework is not compatible with miui
Now the only way out, according to me, is by restoring the file system through a nandroid backup.
I'm sorry but no one can help you in any other way.
Not being rude but dude read the whole post before installing anything in your phone.
Other than that I should however tell you that greenery without xposed also works great. Believe me I have used it and still use it.

before you re-flash the whole rom, check if there's an uninstall recovery zip (it should be on your sd)
@TARUN SIDHARTH is "greenery" a different app or you simply use greenify without xposed?!? is it possible to greenify system apps (with a donate version of course)?

Greenery is a standalone app which works great and does exactly what it offers. The xposed framework just empowers it a bit more and makes it a bit more efficient. But even then Its not necessary that you have to install xposed framework for it to work its magic.
And yes to answer your other question you can greenify system apps with it although that's only available in the donate version.
He sure however that you are careful doing that since greenifying the wrong stood can make your system unstable or cause other problems that may interfere in is optimum functioning.
Cheers

amazing! think i tried almost every possible auto-start blocking app (autostarts, auto-this-and-that, various managers) and none have had a lot of success with the stuff i wish to block (possibly without total disabling and/or freezing (with TiB)
my google magic failed and all i could find was gardening and themeing apps
can you please provide us with the link or pm me some other details

Details details... Lemme see what more there is to know
Oh yeah umm.. Most of the startup managers for Android are full of crap... The play store ones atleast coz the Google developers policy doesn't allow such apps which actually work really well in this context... Still don't know how they decide that though. Well whatever if you had xposed then it could have been possible. But even then install gsam battery monitor and note the apps which consume the most system resources. Greenify them if you wish to and then they'll open/consume system resources only when they are active ie you are using them in real time.
That's all I guess

Xposed - Someone installed it?

Just received my brand new Z3,but already feeling the itch for some customization.
Someone already tried playing around with xposed?
It is fully working or at least some features?
Thanks
After rooting/bootloader unlocking the phone, I installed Xposed. It works well. I use the following:
App Settings - I made systemUI (and most of my non-sony apps) 240 dpi.
GravityBox (smaller nav bar, orange icons, replacement battery, AM/PM removal, 3 dot on nav bar right, search on nav bar left.
Tinted Status bar
Xperia Xposed - installed but I decided not to use anything
Please note, per conversations on general, unlocking the bootloader will irreversibly worsen the camera's low-light picture quality and kill native miracasting/chromecasting ability linked to Sony's DRM keys
I'm using tons of Xposed modules and I couldn't live without it. It's one of the greatest pieces of software ever written and I'll stay away from Android L until Xposed works on it. i never felt the urge to use CM or another rom since I'm using Xposed, GravityBox alone is such a mighty module that it replaces a plethora of third party rom features.
It's really hard to live without Xposed after having it for so long on my Moto X. I'm just not willing to lose the camera quality by unlocking the BL. Of course, there are other things I'm itching to do as well with root (like freezing and deleting lots of useless apps that suck battery!)
I am using xposed with
- xstana module
- tinted status bar
- gravity box
Everything works perfectly!

I don't mind losing some of the camera quality either, I believe that people will either find a way to reverse the process, or make something better.
I'm just waiting till I can backup my TA partition.

I istalled Xposed and run xled, xquiet hours and cyan lock screen the lose of the cameras low light abilty is not a big problem i use camera fv5 and change the iso settings
So no way in hell to get root without unlocking the bootloader?
i was using pie controls from gravitybox with navbar disabled, but i found out that pie doesn't appear when using camera with physical button with phone in standby.... anyone can confirm this?
I use XBlast and Xposed LED Control.
Both works fine. What does NOT work is GravityBox. But why? Can someone help me?
When trying to start it, it says "GravityBox System Framework does not answer" in german. in english perhaps its something like "cant retrieve System Framework data" or something like that.
It doesn matter how often i try, always the same error message

You need to enable it in Module and restart phone. After that you can do what you want! In Download section, you can find more module with search filter by typing: xperia

I think gravity Box can not handle sonys ui. Had it before on lg g2 stock rom. Just some features worked. Keep in mind that gb is actually for vanilla kitkat(aosp, maybe cm)
GB worked fine for me on the Z1C, but eventually some features require a deodexed rom. I've always been using RomAur.

I did not mean you have to enable xposed installer. I said: you have to enable GravityKK module by tick the box, do nothing more, restart the phone first. After that you can config without any framework message error!
xposed works great
I using xposed for remote play (ps4)
and its workign great!

Yes and as i said, i used Xposed before. what i want to say with that is : I know how Xposed works and how to use it. I know that you have to "activate" modules with the checkbox.
still, GB won't work.

To root my SP on stock I use towelroot (download tr.apk from official website by clicking on logo). It's one click et voila, root! Then you can install these other things sure! Xposed is a little more difficult, but there would be tutorials that are very well explained how to do it I don't know how to port xposed to your device, but there are many stock roms who have it pre-installed!
Hope I helped you

[Q] MeanPop ROM 5.01 Base

Since I am new to the forum I need to post here but just wanted
to say this is one smooth ROM and does everything I need to enjoy
the Nexus 6 and I thank Mikey for this. I am sure I will have more questions in the future.
As mentioned in the developers thread if we were to use additional
tweaking apps what would be safe to use without breaking the ROM.
I would like to tweak the icons and size of the tiles to start.

You're going to break the SystemUI if you want to alter the icons of the tiles since Mikey modified the SystemUI heavily.
Thanks for the reply that's why I posted. Any safe tweak
modules I can play with? Not that I need to but would be nice
to know.

Are you talking about Xposed? If so, I mean, yeah you can use Xposed with the ROM but if you want to alter the UI in some way with something like GravityBox, then you're probably going to run into problems.

The Xposed stuff in the Play Store are the Xposed modules. And to install the actual Xposed application, you need to go to the official Xposed thread.

Can I trick an app into thinking i gave her premissions? (no root)

I have an app which asks for permission to my contacts in order to start. (She is installed but won't work until ill give her the permission for my contacts).
Is there any way to make her think she has Permissions to my contacts without giving her?
Or to hide the real contacts so she won't be able to see them?
I looked around and saw Xprivacy but I have no root so is there any other option?
Thank You

That app is a big no-no here on xda, so i suggest you edit your post and remove it.
Can you provide more details, like your device and your android version? Xprivacy works up to marshmallow, if you're on Nougat you can try xposed extension protect my privacy, but i think it requires root too.
Since your have xposed installed, why don't you install root? I'm assuming you have a custom recovery to flash xposed so root should not be an issue.

Sorry, but I've seen your post in the xposed general forums, so i assumed you were looking for a n xposed related solution.
I do remember an app that used to decompile and recompile apks while removing permission requirement, but that was old and i can not remember the exact name, maybe try an app that gives you access to appOps on your rom to control access from there?

That app is considered warez/promotes cracking other apps, so it's against xda rules
