I just bought a HTC One with T-Mobile on 4.1.2. it's used and is rooted with TWRP. I've learned that the s-on is on but i need it off. I"m kind of rusty to this considering i rooted my HTC Inspire years ago. I attemped to use revone, moonshine, and rumrunner with no luck. Any suggestions?
If your phone is a T-Mobile phone, you can ask for help in this forum:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-tmobile/help
Also, be warned that if the phone was at one point S-Off, it may now be impossible to get S-Off again.

Could you please verify that? I had to go back to S-ON to give the phone for repairing the purple tint issue with the camera. Once I get the phone back, I will definitely want to S-OFF again.
Thanks

Why not just backup your stock rom before flashing a custom?

Careful buddy, you have a Sprint/CDMA phone (but with a strange CID), most of us here have m7_u / ul models (GSM) not m7_wls (sprint / cdma).
Better check http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-htc-one or http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-htc-one
and post your getvar wherever you post (copy/paste is preferred over a screenshot, it's more visible), because your modelid and cid are quite unique

Afaik, there is no stock rom/guru reset rom, no RUU and no nandroid backup available for your phone CID. So I highly doubt it will be possible to revert it back to stock atm. Maybe you should consider flashing a custom rom for wls variant.

you should be fine using a sprint rom (wls rom)
You might have to edit the andoid-info.txt to include your cid
Give it a try.
Your HBOOT says "RELOCKED", does that mean you tried to relock your bootloader with the unlock code from htcdev? If you did then you should try to unlock your bootloader using the same procedure and flash a custom recovery. With that you can flash a custom rom. You may have better luck finding the right rom for M7_WLS at the Sprint HTC One forums.

Hi everyone, I was wondering if it is possible to downgrade my Moto X from AT&T running on 4.4.2 down to 4.2.2?
There's a very big risk of bricking your phone if you downgrade. Either right away, or by accidentally taking an ota after.
Some say there are ways to downgrade, but most here will just simply say... No. You can't unfortunately.
Again, you can research how to supposedly do it "safely".... but even following those directions, mistakes can happen, and boom. Paperweight.
Plus ... there's no real reason to. That I can see.

Ok thank you very much for your response. Oh man :/ well the thing is that I was wanting to root my phone but it seems like
there isn't a way to do this unless the phone was downgraded.
Alright so, I returned my HTC One into HTC for repair and will be receiving my replacement on Monday. I haven't unlocked the bootloader/rooted/picked a recovery since the first month I bought it in July 2013. Is there any new methods or recommended methods to do all of this now?
I remember before I sent my device in, I was using old software I think. I never updated the "hboot", "radio", "firmware", etc so I'm hoping I can do all of that this time around so my HTC One preforms to the best of it's capabilities. If that's necessary anyway.
There's SO many guides on XDA I just don't know which is the general "best" option nowadays. Can someone link me to the newer versions or even the old ones if they are what's still best? As well as the better recovery? Is it still TWRP?
Also, I hear that if you run OTA updates with a new HTC One and bring it up to date, it makes it harder to go through the process? Is that true?
With the latest hboot , I believe 1.57 it's difficult to achieve s-off, but other then that everything has remained the same. As far as recovery goes, some roms specifically require TWRP but the 2.7 series causes some issues so most people are sticking with 2.6.

What is the difference between 1.54 and 1.57 hboot? Well, I think I was using 1.54 on my phone. Or was it 1.44? Whichever. What's the difference between hboots?

Nothing (except trying to RUU backwards) requires s-off.
RUU is the easiest way to return to stock.
