Hiding the notification bar

Every so often is my phone is busy, I manage to crash the notification bar so that it disappears from the screen. Even when I open other apps on my. This got me thinking. Is there a way I can hide the notification bar so that it's even hidden in apps and not just the home screen or other apps that don't have the option to hide it?

How to hide data in statusbar when wifi is connected?

I was just curious how this can be done because it's a bit annoying when it's showing while I'm not even using it taking up space in the status bar?

[Q] notification bar icon question

Hi all z3c user,
I have a question about the icon on the notification bar. I have installed a newspaper app, if there are some news to alert me, it will pop up an icon and have a notification message in the notification panel.
If there are a first alert but I still not clear it, then if the second alert received, the icon in notification bar has only one, and the notification panel will have two messages until I clear it, then they will gone.
The problem is, the same app, installed other than SONY device, e.g. LG/Samsung, they will have one icon for one message, that means they will have 2 same icon when they received two alerts, but I found that SONY ROM will group the icon into one, so that I need to pull down the notification panel to see how many alert received.
Anyone know how to "ungroup" the icon? Thanks.
By the way, not only this app, some football score apps have the same problem.
no one have idea?
It's a SystemUI thing, meaning it's hardcoded. Sony made it this way, other vendors are doing it the other way. Some custom ROMs have the ability to toggle this behaviour, but on stock there's nothing to do. IMHO, grouping is better because it doesn't waste so much space on the notification bar for same types of notifications. If I get 1 email, I really don't mind knowing there's actually 5 at the first glance, but I'll see that immediately when I pull down the notification bar anyway.

Thanks for your reply. But do you know is it able to change some settings or parameters in systemui.apk?

Disable brief notification pop up

The brief notification is where you get a small pop up at the top of your screen. How the hell do you disable this globally? Some apps like WhatsApp you can do from within the actual app's settings. Others you can turn off priority notifications.. But some apps don't have any valid setting. How can I disable this for all apps. Its such a useless feature for me. I just want the regular icon in the status bar and nothing popping up
they used to be called heads up notifications I think and yes I'd welcome a solution for this too.
I currently run my phone in 'do not disturb' mode 24/7 because I despise their intrusions.

Remove BBS "Event Processing" Notification

How can I remove the BBS Event Processing notification in my status bar? I know BBS is running, I check it all the time. I've got BBS 2.6 running on LOS 14.1.
BTW I stopped the NFC partial wakelocks on my phone using the Xposed module DeepSleep, which lets you disable individual wakelocks and alarms. Almost doubled my battery life!
Can't you disable (hide) the notification via Android Settings? That's what I would do. What I actually do is change it's category to Silent and then enable minimise to shade. That way it remains visible, but is tucked away in the shade subtly.

Yes, that is what I eventually did, but I dislike disabling a notification from Settings because it isn't easily traceable later. I prefer the app to be "polite" enough to offer a disable notification option.
As far as I am aware, such apps need to have a constant notification so that they can keep running in the background. Tasker also does the same thing. Therefore, you most likely will not get an option to disable, since it is necessary to keep that notification enabled at all times.
