I had the exact same problem.
Luckily you can remove it and also disable all widgets on lock screen if you choose to, using 3rd party software:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wordpress.chislonchow.deviceadminkeyguard
I have been using it with .201 and .205 - it works with both of them, no root required.
I once had a problem with this software not working (shortcuts returned) but booting in to safe mode made it work again.
Just make sure you read the description on the app page, on what you need to enable to make it work.
Whenever I long select the space bar to select another language my Swype crashes.
All other stuff seems to run fine.
Well, the dhcp-client doesn't work properly, but that can be solved by selecting the "old dhcp-client"
I'm on bluespark kernel, but had another one before which does the same.

Hi I have android 4.2 and i can't find the way to enable knock knock (double touch to wake phone) in settings. I saw it before but now I can't find it anymore. Can You help me?
Go to Settings > Smart Assistance > Motion Control and then enable double touch.
Sometimes you'll find that even after enabling double tap to unlock your phone doesn't unlock. I still don't know what is the reason but enabling gloves mode can help in this. (Though it is not a really good idea to keep that on because touch performance is compromised)
Ok thank you

Doublebtap to wake is already available
its already available in stock rom.
Could there be a magisk module that could possibly change the slider back to the way it was marshmallow? Was just thinking about it when this idea came across to me.
I use Notification toggle, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.j4velin.notificationToggle You can use the sound toggle.

I have googled this and every website points to the settings button on the quick launch bar. And then they say go to "special app access" I do not see this on my Note 8 from Sprint. How do I disable this feature? Its extremely annoying I can't find the picture in picture setting anywhere to turn it off!
Thanks!
