OmniMod (Rom/Theme)

What we have here is my first rom that i made for myself,but i want to share.
I just started to learn programing and the android platform is a tool for me to learn
so what i did here was just made for me but i think there is room for one more dish from the kitchen, so here we have it
This is built on v20g official (new baseband!!!!!!)
Rom fetures: Almost everything what the kitchen has to offer(deoxed,busybox,a2sd.....)
- Power menu (recovery and reeboot added)
- Latest Franco_kernel 2.6.35.14
- wifi fix
- Enabled jit an heapsize to 48mb and some build.prop hacks ;-)
- And some other things i can not remember
- Theme made by me and UOT Kitchen(a very big tanks to those guys)

Bugs: - The only bug i know of is the built in wifi tether
edit: Sorry there is one more bug. In Go sms when you try to push the + button it loads and loads.
So when adding just type the first letter or number and the xt9 will do the rest (this will be my next problem to understand and solve!)
- For transparent statusbar use MultiPicture Live Wallpaper or a launcher that suports it

p.s I changed some icons in some apps(go contacts and go sms and others just for fun).

Wait wait bro! If u remove stock contacts, u cant call out? Right? I did something that day with my nexus, i froze my phone.apk, it works! But i cant get into the dialer! So does it work for u?

Same happened with me dax, removing stock dailer will prevent you from getting into dialer via any other 3rd party app,and it keeps force closing ...

no problems here! no fc no freze
tested and tested over and over,just try it
every time i tried a new version of this rom(wich has only had the go contacts all the time) i did a full wipe (formatt system ect.) to be shure that i don´t have something still under there that makes it run. So IT WORKS!

Wow...i will see your rom later to see how can you remove stock dialer but still can get gsm signal and out/in call

The stock contacts do not have the phone.apk built in
the stock dialer is a part of the original stock contacts.
So when you dial from GO contacts you go straight to phone.apk(wich i dit not remove) and whola! a phone is calling a friend

Does app2sd work properly? Is it app2ext or app2sd?? Do u need an ext partition/? Or like cm7 it directly goes to SD??

it has app2ext. but it works like normal if you don´t have ext
edit : it should say a2sd not ext sorry

heyy dude!just installed ..works just about fine!!usb tehtering doesnt work instead using wifi tethering provied by u!!i have a 512 mb ext partition already existing but still any app i install seems to go to the phone memory,say setcpu and im not able to move it to sd card!!could u please help me setting up app2 sd or app2ext whatever it may be??

edit1:using custom kernels such as fserve's goldenleaf,gbs causes immensive lagging in dropping down notification bar,and setting force close also the entire system kindof bcomes laggy!!please look into the issue..

edit:the brighrness in the setting give force close,try go on cyanogenmod setting,go to interface,search notification,go to widger button and tick the tonggle brightness...
im not are Developers but this is my hobi lernning something are new

How do you get English fonts on some apps on the desktop
to change from the Malaysian ones? This is in the Tools folder especially. When I click on these they say that the app is not installed. Why would there be non installed apps?

not sure my frend..try agains wipe data
i already told in my first tread,try change by you self all the widget on you home..for the app not install try flash again this rom

Elol, Sergekarol means to say that are you going to provide regular update? and are you going to support continuously to make it stable ..... your galnet was superb ROM i have used but because of lack of support and no update from your side I have to switch ..... what ever it may be don't want to blame you for that....
meanwhile want to say something about nightly
1. super smooth
2. some untranslated apps are there but I won't use them so I removed them.
3. Like the launcher
4. walkman sound good.
missing
transition effect which you gave to your Honeycomb MOD and Galnet, really missing them here
Camera, is any chance to improve clarity
want to change font, can you guide me.... not able to find out the solution.

oppss sory,actully i not pass in english..hehehe..yes i want to try to make this rom update..i want to make this rom to be like interface ICS.and more like stable if i can,sory for the rom miui,i cant get update,...if you want to change the font ,,get app on market name "font changer" ..this can be change you font on you phone...

thats great Elol,
want to update some more bugs / issues of nightly
1. can not change brightness get force closed
2. wallpaper get changed on boot
3. even wallpaper get closed when we kill all application with advance task killer
4. GPS is poor, even I can say its matching stock only.
regarding launcher instead of CC you can use Phoenix Launcher, pretty stable and fast. it also help to reduce wallpaper related issues.

Okay sory for that man,be cool,actually for the adobe flash is only app from Sony,I want to test that for the some video,if you adobe flash got the funny icon,uninstall the app,and if you like the app just download the app again,for me all the app work great in my phone,I don't know why u got of that..sory

Dude what you have in ROM can only be remove by software like ROM manager in Android any software can be re install any time but you need to use software like titanium backup to make the changes to ROM permanent dude of someone want to hack your account there are many way not thru this means

Delete all contacts / message to all contacts

Hello people, I use the CM7.2 v11 (Xperia x8) and would like to know is there any mod that adds the option to send a message to all contacts at once, and also how to delete all contacts at once, because these options do not exist in CM 7.2 v11 and almost no custom rom, I hope you understand me, sorry for bad english

I too want it.. The Joy OS has it then why not cyanogen mod...?? none of the CM ROMs have a convenient messaging app and I have to download Go SMS Pro..!!! Thats too annoying...

The most simple way to delete all contacts:
Settings/apps/manage apps/all/contacts/clear data
& also there are some apps in store to do this
Is it important how did i send this?

There is the possibility to extract the application message (Joy OS) and use the CM 7?

why is on instaling saying New experience rom v8, by auto radio????
btw, rom booted, its miui, work everything for now, gonna report later

Not bad for initial release. But SMS, new SMS=fc. I think it's reproducable, so no logcat.

Hell yeah!! finally a stable miui without the timezone bug Thanks very much

Had a problem with youtube.. After i installed i can´t acces my account it says "You need to download google Play Services" but after I download google play services it says that I can´t install it because it has problem with the account that is already sync with my phone :S
Really weird problem never happened to me before does anybody else face the same issue?

when trying to send sms. it says force close ?? and when i try replace my ringtones. when people call it doesn't rings. just vibrate. hope u can fix this. thanks

thats not developers fault, its for mdpi hpdi phones....find some ldpi themes, or do like i was doing: apply everything from theme except boot animation, lockscreen, lockscreen style

To use lockscreen correctly use miui locker app, with this app you can use all lockscreen and if it's not fit even with this app unlock your phone by pressing volume touch

I can´t find the miui locker app.. But if you install MiHome (miui launcher) from playstore it appears a themes icon from where you can download all the themes and they are automatic resized (most of them) the bad thing is that you can´t turn off the vibration when unlocking

Request: LG Dialer App

Hello all ..
I need the stock dialer app, install-able on CM10.2 .. the default dialer on CM doesn't have "Search Online Accounts" feature, that allows me to search company contacts (5000+ contacts; not going to sync all those .. ! )
the feature is found in many ROMs like MiUi and stock on both ICS and JB .. but I couldn't extract the app in an install-able form .. need to change the app name inside the the apk first to install next to CM default dialer ..
any help or advice is very much appreciated ..
