Go to HTCDEV.com and download a RUU from that site.
Make sure that your bootloader is LOCKED/RELOCKED and then run the RUU on a Windows PC and follow the instructions.

In order to go from HBOOT 2.00.0000 to a S-OFF HBOOT, you will need to follow the Downgrade Procedure listed in the sticky posts of this forum.

Are you talking about Indian version?

The downgrade process is to run revolutionary and not sign away your belongings to HTC
So you do not have to use HTCdev at all with the downgrade
You either unlock via HTCdev or you downgrade to an older s offable hboot, and s off
Lynt's guide is the HTCdev unlock
If you want to downgrade, use nonverbose's guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1373697
I used it myself and it worked fine for me
Can Someone confirm me that the file provided here is same as that provided in nonverbose thread..the chinese site link is too slow..download speed of 2-3kbps ...and dropbox link doesnt work anymore...

I think only going from gingerbread to froyo radio can brick
Not completely sure
Mine did not brick the two times I did it
You can always upgrade again
it would really be great if you can still confirm that changing the radios wont have a negative effect on my mobile
Nope , it worked fine for me...
As in upgrading/downgrading? It is no problem for me, if you flash the correct radio for our device, it is safe and will not cause damage
All I can say is that all the people here who have downgraded probably did not brick their phones
You are safe, but just remember to follow the instructions word for word
And none of us are responsible for any damage, obviously

At this point you are now ready to flash a Gingerbread RUU. That is the final step, the key is to pick one that will change the HBOOT to 1.13 so you can use Revolutionary to S-OFF.
The guide has a suggested ROM you should use.
Okay i used htcdev to unlock again but it is still 2.00.000. So what i have to do then? Just start the ruu.exe or flash hboot.img extract from the Ruu in the thread.

Root , unlock the bootloader at htcdev.com and if you want you can s-off
Sent from my Incredible S using xda premium
If never rooted your mobile.
Try Removing battery and then turning on (You might have tried)
If this doesnt work and device is under warranty go to service center.
They will fix it for free
Else
You have to root your mobile.

Everything is OK.
By flashing an older GB ROM, you have a different bootloader which cannot be locked and unlocked. Based on the GB ROM you flashed, you probably have HBOOT version 1.13 on the phone is just fine, especially since you appear to have permanent S-OFF.

Since you have S-OFF, you just need to flash a custom recovery and then you can install custom ROMs. You don't need to worry about unlocking bootloader 1.13.

[Q] ROGERS CID- Unroot/Flashing to Stock for return

Hi all,
I have a quick question about the CID.
I am looking to return my HTC One for warranty as the external speakers have stopped working.
My phone is currently rooted.
My current specs:
unlocked
m7-ul pvt ship s-off rh
cid-11111111
hboot -1.44.000
radio- 4a.14.3250.13
openDSP-v26.120.274.0202
eMMC-boot
I was wondering if anyone knows the CID for rogers so that I can change the CID back. I have been trying over the last couple days to unroot the phone by following a few threads and videos regarding the issue but I always stop at the end where I try and find the RUU for rogers.
Can someone help provide the direct link for the right RUU for a Rogers HTC One as well as the CID for a rogers? is it the T-Mob?
Thanks all!

The cid is ROGER001 but there is no RUU to speak of. You'll have to downgrade rom, firmware and recovery manually. Find the appropriate Rogers nandroid in this thread..

Check this guide, you might have to be s-off to completely return to stock. I don't think a RUU is coming for stock Rogers.

hey cyrixfreak

im actually stuck on the
Reboot device if CID on bootloader screen shows the stock CID. If not retry
*****The next step will wipe the entire contents of the device which includes all of your data. Be sure to back it up to a PC so you can transfer it onto the new device if needed.*****
These instructions are assuming you are running a Windows OS. If you are not then these exe RUU’s won’t be of much use. You will have to use the RUU.zip files which can accomplish the same results as a RUU from flashing in fastboot. You can replace step 1 below with these steps:
Restoring using a RUU.zip
I downloaded the link from http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/m7-cwm-nandroid-backup-cid-roger001-1-29-631-17-2013-06-03-zip/

Im on the black htc screen atm.
I was wondering how I can get the backup onto it?
actualy
I trying this right now might be the solution

Extract the rar. You should get a file name like this 2013-08-19.15.36.11(obviously with a different date).
Place the file into /data/media/clocworkmod/backup. Reboot into recovery. Go to backup and restore. Choose restore. Restore the backup. Voila
