Now it is stuck on smasung start splash screen, samsung logo appears and stuck on here.
it does not enter in recovery mode neither in ODIN mode, nor any key works. samsung logo appears only when i plug data cable.

Dead battery ????
Reads as you need a service centre but before paying try a Usb Recovery Jig to access download mode .
This smells like a blown motherboard .

Is that the only thing you did? No flashing or any thing prior to that?

[Q] Bricked Galaxy Mini

Hi, I live in Egypt for a while and I bought last month a Mini. Everything was going just fine, I was using Odin many times to try new roms, and CWM Recovery to give a try to custom roms, without problems. Yesterday morning I flashed my device with the 2.3.6 rom that I found on this forum, apparently made for Latin America. Since that moment, my mobile is on boot loop, i can't do anything, I only can access downloading mode, I tried to reflash gingerbread 2.3.4, and2.3.5, it goes well, Odin gives me the PASS message, but still my mobile is forever rebooting at Samsung logo. I can't access recovery.
What to do? Is it bricked and do I have to send it to Samsung Center or is there hope to fix it by myself?
Thank you for any help...
Yohan

Just remove the battery and stop your phone.
Put the battery in again.
Go to recovery mode by pressing Home + Power button at the same time.
In the reocevey choose wipe data/factory reset option.
Reboot your device after you are done.
You mobile will boot up fine.
Thank you for your answers but I wanna insists on a point: I can't access recovery at all, the phone show me the samsung logo for about half a second then restarts, and is looping in this state. No recovery, only downloading mode and RAMDUMP Mode (ARM9 mode) & Emergency Dload Mode (ARM9 Mode). Nothing else is avalaible.
Helppp

hey man i've already had that problem..coz i flash 2.3.6 and encountered same problem but i manage to fix it.. you need to enter recovery mode... Note: you need to hold the home & power button and wait for the samsung logo to flash TWICE (2X),when the 2nd logo flash, just realease the buttons and your on recovery mode.just wipe/ data reset.. right now im using Ginger bread 2.3.6JKVT and its rooted also.
No, I can't access recovery sorry.
Connect your phone to your laptop.
Use ADB
Type this :
adb shell reboot recovery
That will take you to download mode, then you can flash rom again. It would be easier if you have a CWM installed

If you can't access recovery either falsh CWM recovery or Flash another firmware from Download mode. If you want to flash CWM recovery just follow the link below for Galaxy Mini and search CWM recovery.
I tried many times, since i have this problem, to flash and reflash, official roms, CWR, but nothing works, setup goes fine according to Odin, but still have the problem on my phone, still only downloading mode works, and still a flashing screen, just during the samsung logo.
No one can help me with my mobile???

did you wait for the samsumg logo to flash tiwce while holding the combo key? you see when im installing firmware using odin my laptop turn off coz i dont have a battery i thought my mini was brick because the process was not finish,so what happen i tried to acces recovery mode its only shows a computer icon & phone icon. but i manage to fix the problem i go to download mode and flash again another firmware. and everything goes fine..so how come that you cant access recorvery...i would suggest that you flash a firmware with 4 parts not a single package.
just try this www*mediafire*com/?br3r8fod5g3vud4 flash this firmware with Odin this will surely work please replace * with . brace my post count is not enough to post outside link
As long as you can enter download mode... you are safe. If you can... just flash it back with Odin.
Follow this step

Try booting up without micro sd nor sim card.

i had a same problem too.
my phone cannot power on, and ONLY download mode only working.
i flashed it for so many time too, and it doesn't seem to fix the problem.
so any fix on this ?
To ybregeon and Tre3,
I had the exact same issue, only Download Mode and RAM Dump, but could not enter recovery mode. Tried flashing many ROMs, oneclick unbrick, Heimdall recovery etc. but still no solutions available, I tried many-many tricks with no luck. So I went to Samsung Service Center, and it turned out that the problem is in the mainboard. It took me one night before Samsung replaced the mainboard from my phone and it's been working well since. All free of charge.
I hope your warranty is still valid. Good luck.

reflash the XXKPI/XXKPK 2.3.4 then flash the cmw, xxkpi and xxkpk is the safest stock gb rom to install
Flash odin and go to recovery mode and wipe.
It should work.

[Q] Bricked Phone?

Hi all. I have a problem with an S5830 which was on 2.3.6 Stock+Root. It was network locked (even if with the code to check it said every lock was off), so I tried the factory reset solution listed here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=9006090&postcount=1 using the code *2767*3855#. After the reboot my phone got stuck in a bootloop. I tried flashing with Odin many different fw, with and without data.rfs just to be sure it wasn't corrupted, but my phone just keep looping after the samsung logo.
Is there an easy way to fix it?
Thanks
Just in case it can be useful, more details:
1) After the Odin autoreboot it keeps lopping without even displaying the samsung logo (display just go on and off), but if i remove/insert battery and turn it on it loops after the samsung logo.
2) Download mode, Special download, and Ramdump mode works, but Recovery mode don't.

For Recovery mode: did you tried when you release "Power" button, button "Vol Up" hold longer (when you see Samsung logo then release "Vol Up" button)?

Go to www.themythace.com/flash-stock-rom.html & follow the steps. After flashing, odin shows, closing serial port & rebooting device or something like that. Wait until pass appears. This time your device ends up in a boot loop. Now, take off battery & go back to downloading mode & reflash via odin. This time your device might boot. Atleast for me it did...
I never had a head ache & some one recommended me rooting !!!
Hmmm I'm afraid yours is bricked, though not unfixable.
When in odin did you use the right .ops file ?
Also, which recovery were you using ?
It is possible that your partitions are corrupted.

I used the correct Cooperv1 ops (I had flashed with it other times when I was trying custom roms). I was using CWM as recovery. Also I tought about the partition getting corrupted, that's why I downloaded an old stock rom with all the filesystem .rfs files (including data) to recreate them, but still it didn't work. At this point my only guess is that efs got corrupted in some way (I even have a backup of it but dunno how to restore it, did it with the "cat xxx > /file" procedure while tring to get the network unlock code).
When you say it's not unfixable, what you mean exactly? Anything that I can do at home without sending it to Samsung?
Thanks for your time.
Hmmm. I suspect your guess is right, perhaps someone else may know how to restore it.
I had to send mine to Samsung, and although they said they gave me a new motherboard I suspect they simply used jtag.

You can try searching about jtag & oneclickunbrick on google or on xda. Not sure what the processes involve but they help booting into downloading mode if you weren't able to before. But did you try what I suggested before ??

Oh then it wouldn't help. I can boot in download mode, but flashing a stock rom didn't fix it. I tried several times.
Put it in download mode again and flash again or try a different rom. If you have download mode it isn't bricked its fixable from home

I tried many times, with different roms, one package and not. Nothing fixed it. If it's the efs corrupted I think there is nothing you can do, even if I can go in download mode.
I think there is a way to flash cwm recovery via Odin you could try that, it could fix it but I'm not to sure but it's always worth ago
And when using Odin you just need ops file checked and one package checked and untick the first box were the three boxes are
DEMOCRACY™NT

{Help} Phone reboots and does not start.

I have installed CM10.1 with Nxkenel and suddenly now the phone rebooted and has entered boot loop. I flashed stock JB, GB. Tried a factory wipe in GB recovery. Nothing helps. The phone goes into recovery mode and the odin mode but nothing more.
Is there any way to solve this?
Edit - after flashing GB again, the phone starts and after 5 sec in the home screen it shuts down

I think you have hard-bricked your phone. Most probably you must have flashed a rom not intended for our device. Sorry but if USB Jig doesn't work, then there is nothing you can do. Better consult a Service Center as the last resort. Hope I Helped.

Need help hard resetting my phone

So the here's the first part of the story...
Here goes: I flashed a ROM but forgot to do a complete factory reset. Now the phone hangs at the Samsung logo. I couldn't enter Recovery nor Download mode even when the phone was good, because it didn't respond to the button combinations. I managed to make an USB Jig and can enter Download mode now, but I'm afraid that flashing another firmware without wiping just won't solve the problem.
Is ther any way to do a factory reset/full wipe from download mode or any other way without using the Android or recovery?
Thanks guys!

Last problem is factory reset to you. Flash JB and see if you get recovery. I do not think that there is possibility for factory reset without entering system or recovery.

What you did before, when it was normal with recovery/download mode?
Kernel and recovery are on the same partition, so it might be that it was corrupted somehow. So factory reset won't help you if you do not have working kernel.
