Of course they are two different phones .
Download link
Try here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/development-i9305/kernel-boeffla-2-3-beta3a-t2457052
i9305 doesn't have an FM radio for example.

i've just rooted my i9305 (international version), Buildnumber or Kernel XXALI5
can i just proceed and flash any roms out there or only XXALI5 roms?
or is it just possible the Kernel/Buildnumber to change/replace?
(i forgot to mention it, but my phone has a branding : Vodafone Germany)
thx
you can flash any ROMs for the i9305.
There is only one custom kernel available - Perseus

Hi everyone,
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE Singapore version i9305
JB 4.1.2
baseband I9305DXALI7
Ripper rom v8
Stock Kernel and Modem
I tried flashing Siyah Kernel to enable Wolfson wm1811 on my phone. but im stuck in the boot loop.
Any help on how to fix this or this is just not possible yet?
Hey,
this kernel isn't for the i9305, it supports only i9300, so you have to flash the stock kernel back or use perseus. You can get the latest perseus from the i9305 dev forum.
You can't flash roms, kernel, whatever which was compiled for the i9300 to your i9305, there will be always a boot loop btw. it will not work.
Perhaps flashing a kernel made for your phone will help?

Hi,
since I own a S3 Mini I am into this board and the great custom roms here .. :good:
but what I still don't get: how close are the custom roms to the stock rom.
for instance:
stock for S3 mini is 4.1.2 - kernel 3.0.x?
custom roms: 4.2.2, 4.3.1 and 4.4.2 - all (maclaw roms) use the same kernel 3.0.101
but 4.4 uses linux kernel 3.3 or 3.4?
so what does this difference in the kernel versions (3.0.101 to 3.3) mean? Isn't it like using windows 95 with a windows vista or windows 7 theme?
dont't get me wrong, I love the custom roms! Using the slimrom of maclaw and like it a lot. Just wanna get it right in my head :silly:

I dont really know what are the changes in the different kernels but think of them like software updates, there may be tweaks, fixes and new features
All we have is 3.0 is because there are only 3.0 kernel sources and STE died and are not releasing kernel sources anymore
Hi,
thx for the information!
i've just read about the "STE" thing. Is it the "munjeni" - "story" in the Sony Xperia thread in this board and the legality of using leaked source code?
What a pity
Hi, i have installed Cyanogenmod 11 nightly on my i9305. I would like to install boeffla kernel 2.3 o 2.2, but I have the new bootloader.
ISELinux permissive version available?
There shouldn't be any issue with a kernel if you're on CM11.
Works fine for me, I'm also on the new bootloader.

Hello I am currently using CM11 Snapshot m10 (HTC One M7) and I want to use MultiROM, to use it you have to have kernel with kexec-hardboot. Is there any kernel with it for my device and ROM? If no, please post thread link when one is available
I am in same boat as you id like to find this kernel too.
