Possible IMEI fix for 2nd SIM slot

On 1.1 and 1.3 same download link to IMEI converter, pls fix it

Also, before modifying the qcn file, make sure to make a backup copy first.
If your phone is not detected, just try to remove usb cable and insert again, sometimes qpst couldn't recognize my phone.

I had the same problem. Nobody can help in the forum, or they don't want. We can understand. Nobody want to share their personal informaton (image files from another phone).
I went to a local GSM service and their solved my problem. Now I can use the 1. and the 2. SIM as well with the original IMEI numbers. It wasn't easy for the GSM guy (because I made a big mess), but he did it. It wasn't for free of course, but probably You also don't have another chance.

my phone is Mi 8 64gb. Bootloader is unlocked. i got your backup with qpst original .qcn file. But not backup efs with twrp. only .qcn backup avaible. i change successful imei. but phone is open after write "no service". everything is working. imei not null.
after restore my original qcn file but again write "no service". help me please.

You dont change IMEI of Mi8. It is not changable like Mi6.

well if u dont have it u are lost because efs ( encrypted file system)
contain imie an serial number for that phone u backuped
an i dont think anybody want to give u that

I forgot to take a backup. I think qcn backup is getting wrong in the current version. so he needs me to backup the original modemst1, modemst2 and fsg partitions.

Changing ime is not the solution for now. all you need is the original backup file. Even if we turn the ime to the original, it says "no service".

Sorry but anyone who is reading this. I don't recommend you to share any of your backup files period, for anything. Best of luck to the two of you.
Edit: This is OPs second post about the same thing and the only thread/post made with his account. Go figure

I found recovery file and restore but not accepted my device. No service problem continues. Sim card configration write "Radio Off".
how do I activate this ? when I try to call a number screen write "Turn off airplane mode to make a call".

I found solution! Wipe/Restore Persist!

How you do this Wipe/Restore Persist?
Do you erase folder in TWRP or you make folder empty with code?
Do you have any clean QCN file to share with us? ( i dont need your imei)

Need Mi 8 Recovery Files

My phone is hard delete. I need Mi 8 64gb China version recovery files. modemst1, modemst2 and fsg. I need backup files to repair.
Please send someone with backup files please or take backup and send me.

What does 'hard delete' mean?! Maybe it will be clearer if you explain what you did...
Anyways you can try downloading loading a Fastboot MIUI ROM file and flash using mi flash in Fastboot mode.

im try imei repair. delete modemst1,modemst2 and fsg partition and write new imei. after reboot phone open normal but write "No Service"

Have you tried reflashing the whole system using Miflash? Should restore everything. And I have no idea why you would try to delete those files.

He tried to modify the IMEI for some reason, however the mi 8 does not support IMEI spoofing and you WILL NOT get any service with any IMEI that is not that of the hardware.

im tried Miflash. But Miflash just repair android system not repair partitions system. You use Mi 8. if you want to help me, you can send backups of your phone.

I don't see how my back up will help, since my IMEI number is different from yours. And sorry I will not share my personal backup for safety reasons. Best of luck!

I have similar problem with Mi Max 3. I know this section is for Mi 8, not for Mi Max 3. But I asked at Mi Max 3 section but I did not get response.
I have accidentally deleted EFS partitions (modemst1, modemst2 and fsg) and I don't have EFS backup. Now I must restore original IMEI numbers to my Mi Max 3. I tried to restore original IMEI numbers with QCN method. IMEI numbers seems to be restored after QCN restore, but phone does not get any GSM signal. It does not connect to GSM network, even I can see IMEI numbers with *#06#.
Currently MIUI 9.6.7 global is installed at Mi Max 3. If I will flash 9.6.6 global fastboot ROM with mi flash tool, will I get my original IMEI numbers back and can I connect to GSM network with Mi Max 3?
Or any other suggestion to restore original IMEI numbers?
PS: I don't want to change IMEI numbers. I just want my original IMEI numbers back and be able to connect GSM network again.

Hello! I lost IMEI and got NVRAM Warning after flashing Redmi 9 with SP Flash Tool. I tried lots of programs to repair it like Maui Meta, SN Write Tool etc. But I can't get the drivers working properly. Are there any other ways to repair it? If there are, could you please help me to get it working? I feel like I'm already about to surrender...

Hmm..i think you erase and update your device and if you do so it is a wrong steps...when use sp you need to check update framware option

The problem is that i checked "firmware upgrade" and it's all erased anyway. I've read this is a common problem when you use sp you lose imei and stuff. I would fix this in a few minutes but this stupid drivers...just can't get them working...

Without imei is it possible to unlock bootloader or root your devices

If you didn't backup your IMEI before you lost it, probably you will never can recover both of imei.
But, you can recover one of them.
You need to write the IMEI to any (newer) device that allow imei writing. (Redmi Note 8 Pro can does it.)
And then, making the imei 1 as empty/null and into imei 2 you can write your new imei.
After it, you can backup the nvdata from that phone and restore it to your device.
So, you will have only imei 2. If you try to write imei 1 too, your device will get nvdata corrupted.

I just found out that mi flash pro shows my IMEIs when I connect my phone in recovery mode. Could it be possibly happening because of the new firmware and I just need to flash into something different than global version or I'm wrong somewhere?

No. It will never write or recover your IMEI.

Accidently got the drivers working. Then i tried using maui meta and sn write tool to fix imei but i got errors. For example maui meta says "Write to target failed" and sn gives something like timeout error. Never felt that close...

Unhappy, maui meta can't help you.
You need to follow the guide I've sent for recovering only imei 2.

Question Help with an unbricked Poco M3 Pro

Hello guys, after some struggle trying to unbrick my poco m3 pro, i faced a new probem, my IMEI has gone, as a noob that i am, i didn't made any kind of backup, i'm trying alot of ways, and still i didn't had any luck to re-write my IMEI (i still jave the numbem on the box of the phone) to the device, i'm using linux, almost everything that i found is to windows, does jave any kind of tool for linux, or i'll have to put windows on my laptop just for this porpouse?
there is anychance to use mtkdrive tool, the same used to bypass security for sp tools to do this ?

if your mobile services works, write imei is not necessary. and it's a dangerous operation. so if your devices now works fine, my suggestion is DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING
all my old phones that after modding lost originals imei worked without problems
a mobile sim could work also with all imei numbers=0

sadly my mobile service don't work, i keep zero signal, and when i try to get IMEI numbers on Settings > About device, it says unknown on both IMEis

second search xiaomi redmi note 10 5g fastboot engineering rom and flash. this rom should repair some high problems like your.
if boot and all work fine, update to miui13. good luck

thx, i'll try to find that rom, i already tried my sim on another devices, and works flawless

so... after long searchs and alot of re-bricks, i finally managed to instal an ENG rom, and had found some NVRAM and NVDATA files to flash too, with those i finally made to get some signal, but still my IMEIs is unknown when i get to about phone, and when i type *#06# i get nothing, not even 0000's. now how do i update from eng rom to a more updated version of miui without losing those configuration files

its only information and you can use Maui Meta in Meta mode if you enter edl/testpoint, for me the first time lost two imei only return The Second imei, but send to waranty and change the Phone.
of coursed use a Semi Profesional Tools.
