As Amotio said your solution is called IZS V2 by Huexx. Is android 4.0.4 and it works very fine.
I suggest too, a script I have reciently flashed called Supremacy V3, which has increased the battery life
But first Huexxx Rom.

Clear data uninstall and disable the apps you dont use..
Download greenify and freeze apps by this they will only run when you want them to run..
Download auto start manager and disable apps to start on boot..
Download cpu spy and check if your phone gets into deep sleep mode.. if not then download an app from play store and force the phone to get into deep sleep mode..
Check if your cpu is overclocked or undervolted as both of these are harmful for the chipset and can cause heating..

Hi guys,
So... I've tried a few ROMs on my note... currently on CM10 preview 3. I'm asking as above what is the best ICS or above ROM (fastest) which also has good battery life?...
Or.... what are the best settings to use on CM10 p3 for fastest yet good battery life? I've seen that NoteCore ROM... is that good?
Thanks.

Actually I have discovered this ROM yesterday and I am using it for a 2 days. Excellent.
But I have a question, should I stay with current v8 kernel or it is ok to move to v11.
I am not sure if I am going to ruin my battery life and performance.
Thanks in advance
I have tried em all and have found a winning rom:
[ROM][ICS][01-08-12][0.8] AniDroid-N7000 (CM9 | 3.0.38 | SLQB | OC)
Using that rom with its stock kernel I am getting very nice performance and battery life!! 3G+ data+sync on (WIFI and the rest disabled) I am getting 1% an hour drain! I am tempted to try a CM10 but I would only be doing so 'to have the latest' whilst not necessarily being 'the greatest'. I do get itchy though but will probably await for the Project Butter to be working and then I'll switch.

Interesting, thanks for the info! Going to read more about both of these and try them out!
Does anyone know of a way of removing Navigation bar (softkeys) from AniDroid?... pretty pointless as I have hardware buttons....
Fusion Rom v3.0 with its stock kernel really impressed me.
Rocket Rom too.
The first has more battery But a bit buggy to me.

I'm on Cleannote v4 and Notecore v11... the performance is great and I think the battery life is very good, and think most on both would agree.
If you don't like touchwiz, basic ROMs, then this may not be the right combination for you... but I find it clean, smooth, and efficient. I don't care about all the extras, just want a phone that works and runs my apps dependably and quickly.
Give v11 a try. Just do a nandroid first and you can always flash back if you don't like it for some reason (I can't think of any reason).

I would recommend to stick with it if you are not facing any issues.
Since you want to upgrade Use only Standard version. OC versions drains battery pretty fast.

AOKP : android open kang project, It is a custom ROM distribution for many Android devices. link : http://aokp.co/
Fastest ROM is Asylum CM 10.1. If you are flashoholic, you will never find your battery giving more backup. You have to give your phone some time to adjust itself with the kernel.

touchwiz roms like slimwizz or sva are the best,
in my experience.
they have constant 3 hours on screen time
compared to cm/aosp which is like 2h 30 mins max.
Hey all
since its all going so confusing on Dev forum that i cant keep up
i want a stable ( not laggy ) customizable battery efficient preferably ics or jb based ( i dont care about games bugs)just daily use and camera
im on zeus v7 but its giving me hardtime
and also if i wanted to try cm10 which one should i download since theres so many nightlies versions im confused?
thanks inadvance
test latest nightly
http://jenkins.cyanogenmod.com/job/android/10865/
but if you want performance, battery efficient, and all feature working, stick with zeus.
if you have problem with v7, try v6.4
Thanks dude but i dont think im qualified enough to test something new !is there any other tested version of cm 's?and i should download the zip file only..right ?

Use Gingerbread ROMs like Zeus, cause they are most stable, fast and the battery drain is better there.
i think the rom PAC (beta 2) is pretty good too...if u test it out ....i am using it as a daily ROM though the GPS is not working
I have used Zeus since the beggining, and for many time, but i dont find it easy to costumize like cm10 or aokp...i like more that interface. Are you using Zeus?

Hi guys. I'm using cm mods for like 2 years. But it seems that it's getting slower and slower. I guess the new apps need more ram or something. Is there any way I can make my i9000 faster? Should I go back to gingerbread? Or any rom you can suggest for faster use?
It's really annoying to use the phone lately. Always lag.

For my phone helped me wipe cache/dalvik cache/fix permissions and factory reset... After these wipes my rom runs fast and smooth but after 2-3 months I need to do it again because the phone getting slower again Try it if you want I hope this can help you
I just use CM7.2 stable and no lag plus I can use chainfire3D in some games which gives them an extra boost... not sure if chainfire3D is compatible with any other version
I am using GamerzROM and the Fly-On Script and I can tell that it's super smooth. I also ticked GPU Rendering in Developer options, it seems to me that it makes scrolling so much smoother and basically everything is working fast.
Thanks for recommends. I installed gamerzrom and it's really good. I mean it's like i bought a new phone. I hope it won't do lag again after a week or so. If it will, then I'll try to add fly-on script I guess.
