For people experiencing google nav not loading: try opening maps for a bit and after that opening nav. It looks like its solving the problem for most people.
For the camcorder in the stock camera being black issue: Touch the screen in the middle like you were gonna slide because a popup should come up asking you what camera app do you want to use since this release has two. thats NOT a bug

Full ROM.
You can flash over previous versions of MIUI but there are lot of changes in this release so I would recommend a wipe.
This is the best release of MIUI yet in my opinion. I have had the least amount of issues and that seems to be the consesus on the MIUI forums as well. Give it a try...
Any bugs? Fully translated to English? I dont keep up with these MiUI ROMs, but last I checked they were in some asian language.
there are always some bugs but very few in this release. All the main features work as they should. (GPS, BT, wifi, camera, etc)
It is fully translated and is very stable.

If you go to the MIUI forum you will see what bugs there are. I have only experianced a couple when some doing system settings. Nothing that is a big deal for me. All ROMs in my experiance have some glitches, MIUI is not exception. I really like the polished look and the built in features.
I've been testing it for a while and I think there is a problem with the Geolocation over network/wifi.
Example: News and whether app not able to get location.
Everything else is working so far.
I've been using MIUI since November builds and this is by far the best build except one major bug. The launcher FC a lot. I've fully formatted my phone wiped eveyrhimg and anything you can wipe and left with all default theme and everything else the ROM starts with and dame thing still FC on the launcher. Until that's fixed I've changed ROMS and glad I did I've no issues at all with Municipal warm 2.2 RLS 5.3 so far it's flawless.

Rom has been working with no problems so far. Using invisiblek #28 kernel with it right now hoping for better battery life.

I'm in love with this rom. It's very smooth and very unique, the only problem in having so far is that I get a force close every time I try to open mobile network settings. Is there a way around this?
It is stated in original post that removal of Verizon Data Throttle causes this to happen. Linked zip on the MIUI-Dev forum post reverses this perk for you.

Is there anything really useful with this new Market? I'm not really interested in letting apps auto-update, and that seems to be the big groundbreaking change here.
Not to be a pessimist, but just trying to decide whether to try it.

FAQ:
[Q] Pons, why are you compiling your own? Why don't we get official CM10.1 goodness?
[A] Well, now, why don't you take a gander at this: CyanogenMod: CM 9+, N1 (and other S1 SoC)
[Q] Gee, Pons, this here looks fun. How do I compile it myself?
[A] Here ya go, lil guy. Just follow these instructions: How to Compile CM10.1 for the Inc (if you encounter any issues using this to compile, please report here so I can troubleshoot and update if need be)
[Q] Why did you disappear?
[A] Long story short, my computer broke right before I went on a business trip. Now I'm stuck on a side of mountain, but only have a 256kbps internet, which has a lot of filters on it (I actually can't download from Goo.im; I have to ssh into my profile to download.)
[Q] Well, that doesn't sound pleasant. Are you back for good?
[A] Maybe, maybe not. Some good people are allowing me to use their build box, so that's how I'm maintaining right now. I'll keep it up, till I get moved again, or they decide to revoke my access.
[Q] Oh. That's cool. Onto what really matters: how often are you going to update?
[A] Will shoot for weekly, or bi-weekly (if major changes come out). The internet is painfully slow, and I don't want to abuse the build bot access I was given. Or until I move or get revoked access.
Credits/Thanks
All credit goes to Cyanogen and the rest of the CM team, and especially our HTC Incredible maintainers, as listed by the CyanogenMod site: jistone (aka CUViper/This Guy), slayher, and of course, koush. Of course, don't forget about the Evervolv team, who have given our outdated qsd8k device a lot of love, despite being dropped by CM.
In addition, tiny4579 for his incredikernel, and for helping with my builds while I'm away.
For some reason, I have received several requests to put a donation link in my profile. You can always donate to the CyanogenMod project or the Evervolv project, but if you feel you HAVE to donate to me, I've put a link in my profile, and all donations will go towards upgrading my computer, so I can stay on top of this for CM10.2/11/and beyond.
Footnote: This thread is a WIP. I will probably restructure it and try to make it look pretty, and I might add a Q&A thread, depending on how many inane and repetitive questions I get that take away from development. I also didn't include any Launcher screen shots, since that is the easiest thing to change and theme. And I see that people have already tried the ROM, since I have 4 downloads so far, and 1 was me. Thoughts/problems?
Reserved....
Particularly let me know if there are any crippling bugs (or bugs period) that differ from what is listed as the known issues, and from tiny's.
Also, any issues with the embedded Superuser? It has had minimal testing, despite being put together by a ninja coder, Koush, and that is one reason it has not made it into CM10.1 Nightlys.
Great to have you back Pons. I'm having zero issues the new su. It seems to boot a little faster.

It should boot a tiny bit faster, as well as su access being better/quicker. It's now an integrated part of Settings, as opposed to a separate app.
Bear in mind that Superuser is still a work in progess. Superuser and binary itself have 0 issues (that I can tell) as far as granting, prompting, denying, etc, but the app needs a little UX work. For instance, go into Settings > Superuser. Click the little icon at the very bottom, this opens up the log. Click the icon in the bottom left, and this does nothing. Koush is aware of these issues, and will correct them when he gets around to it. I'm more interested in if it (or Settings) FC, or if something is not getting root.
A user said:
there seems to be some UX inconsistency in the app. When i click on the log button it brings me into the log, which is fine. However, the button immediately becomes redundant in that said screen. It has no function whatsoever.
Also, i thought there should be a back function tied to the icon so that i can return to the main screen... no?

Is there a way someone could work on the offline voice to text ? Is this going to replace tinys cm10.1 ROM ? Nice work!
Completely wiped phone, EMMC, SD. Took the opportunity to install TWRP, and had a blast playing around with it (used your .zip from that thread). Installed this ROM and Tiny's 2/7/13 GAPPS.
I'm not sure what issues will pop up from the flash-over crowd, but clean install was a flawless process. You guys keep giving me reasons to carry this phone. Well played, by everyone involved.

If you make enough room in the system partition and copy the correct libraries into the gapps zip before flashing offline dictation should work. It does on Tiny's, at least.
Out of curiosity, is there about significant difference between this and Tiny's? Pretty much just superuser?

As far as the end user is concerned? There's that and the status bar battery mod, one of my favorite tweaks since my CM7 days. I don't know exactly what tiny throws in his, but I put in a couple of security hardening picks that most/all users won't notice or feel.

Probably not. Tiny and I generally work together to make CM10.1 better for the Inc. I opened this thread because I can compile and tweak stuff when tiny's busy, but I can't really test it myself. I don't have data, wifi, or gps on my phone where I'm at, and it takes me 3-5 hours to download each ROM. So I opened this to get a wider range of testers.

It works if you put the files into place, just like on Tiny's ROM. I modified Tiny's gapps, removed some stuff I didn't want and added in the offline files. I still have to delete some stuff from the ROM to make room for the offline files, so my gapss aren't share-worthy. But it works for me.

Never really used it. From what I remember, though, it's a kernel tweak that chad put in. Tiny forked his tree, so unless tiny reverted the commit (which I doubt), it should still be in there (internet is way too slow for me to go digging around randomly). As for how to verify it's working, I completely forget. I'm vaguely sure a way does exist beyond watching it charge quickly, but can't remember.

Fastcharge is definitely an option in the kernel that ships with the ROM. It's off by default but the free incredicontrol can enable it. The only thing it does is enable the full charge speed for USB connections which is risky if it comes from a PC as the PC USB ports are only designed for 500mah of current. I've done it safely and i actually have fastcharge USB on by default on my inc but I still have to throw out the warning to be careful.
As far as verifying there are a few ways:
1. Check the value of /sys/kernel/fast_charge/fast_charge_usb. It's 1 for on and 0 for off.
2. Monitor mA current on USB charging and if it's over 500 mA then fast charge USB is working.
3. Check the kernel log in terminal ater plugging the phone into a USB connection, it should report switch charger (Fast) at the bottom.
su
dmesg | grep "Switch charger"
I am a big fan of fastcharge. Although battery health could be a factor, I am suspicious that both fastcharge and DSP manager have gone the way of budweiser served in Utah. My power supply used to get scorching hot and I could get a green light from empty in about 2 hours on the 3500 battery. Now I use the stock battery and it takes at least about 3 hours or longer to get it charged. DSP Manager still works, is much more subtle. I have had to resort to using a second eq app alongside DSP Manager to get levels right.

Work is ramping up, and so is school. No time to actually do more than minor tinkering, so thread is more or less redundant of tiny's. On that note, closed. I'll still try to push out weekly builds (tiny said I could post in his thread whenever I had a build), but no promises.
Hello Boys and Girls,
Everyone at XDA loves AOSP based projects. However AOSP is designed only for the Nexus devices. For most other devices, a significant ammount of extra code needs to be added for them to run properly. For Qualcomm devices, most of this extra code is supplied by the Code Aurora Forums. Here you can find a variant of AOSP that is not only designed specifically for Qualcomm based devices, but it also includes various tricks and enhancements.
So today I'm introducing a little project I've been cooking up for myself, which might also be interesting for other Xperia SP users.
It's called recaf - adding the CAF optimizations back into your AOSP rom.
This is now based on Android 4.4 KitKat. On the surface, it looks almost exactly like pure AOSP as provided by Google. You wouldn't know just by looking at it, but under the surface there are lots of changes to dalvik, the frameworks and the hardware drivers to massively improve battery life.
However, pure AOSP sometimes feels a little bit featureless compared to advanced roms such as CyanogenMod, so I have included a few basic tweaks that I feel make life easier when using an AOSP-like rom:
CyanogenMod camera app - because AOSP camera app is rubbish
CyanogenMod cLock widget - because it's actually pretty nice
Integrated Superuser - it's right there in the settings menu!
exFAT and NTFS - needed for larger SDCards
Multicoloured notification lights - AOSP gives us white lights only
Quick settings - easily accessible by swiping down the right side of the status bar
Advanced reboot - Always available in the power menu
ADB and SU security - root access is disabled by default
So without further delay, here is your download link:
recaf-4.K1-20131212-huashan.zip
recaf-4.K1-20131207-huashan.zip
recaf-4.K1-20131202-huashan.zip
recaf-4.K1-20131129-huashan.zip
recaf-4.K1-20131127-huashan.zip
I assume you will also want to install GAPPS, the version I recommend is the FULL version created by the Paranoid Android team from THIS THREAD.
For your first install you will need to flash the boot.img from inside the zip - SELinux changes for Android 4.4 will cause the zip to fail on other recoveries.
If you want to chat about recaf, join the Freenode IRC chat room #recaf.

Known Major Bugs
Location services are currently broken for certain apps. fixed in 4.K1.
GSM data sometimes (very rarely) randomly disconnects until reboot - I need help to determine what causes this. If you can reliably reproduce this, let me know.
Android RunTime (ART) will fail at boot time fixed.
Known Minor Bugs
WiFi does not connect to WPA secured networks. WPA2 security works as expected.
For Superuser to work you need to change ADB access to apps and adb (in developer settings)
Language does not change in some parts of Android, most notably the Settings app. Most other apps work fine and I didn't touch the language code, so this is a CAF bug I will need to fix.
Custom notification colours for missed calls and voice mail don't work
LED on charging sometimes gets stuck when disconnected until reboot.
These are features, not bugs
Facebook sync cannot be activated.

I created a poll about Quick Settings (discuss it there)

flashed rom=boot then reboot then flash gapps= profit

Bug report: The notification light doesnt seem to work when charging via usb but works for notifications. Also, even though ive changed the notification lights to custom color values it still blinks white
ive attached a logcat below hope it helps.
Going to test this out as I'm currently running PAC and my battery ran out in 6 hours with 1 hour tops screen time. Hope this is better like the previous comment stated. Will post a small review afterwards.
Ok first off: battery life seems to be A LOT better than CM10.2/PAC.
Doesn't have SU installed by default, so I had to flash it.
Seems to be smoother than PAC. Might be placebo effect though.
1 question as well. Is there a way to enable facebook sync? I did it on CM10.* with this method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2064859, but the CM10.2 apk doesn't work with AOSP

Super user is for sure installed, but I think you need to enable developer settings for it to work. It's the exact same code as for CyanogenMod ( I didn't even fork it I just link to their projects) and I think super user is hidden and disabled there until developer mode is enabled. I'll add the code like CM has to hide it unless developer mode is enabled.

I do agree with this, but I got all my phone numbers from facebook on stock and CM10.1.

Awesome!
Will give'er a go, once I've backed up my current setup. Thank you.
Update: Clean Install, wiped everything. During setup the keyboard doesn't pop-up, so just skip through setup until finished. Then go to settings, then Language & Input. Select "Current Keyboard" and throw the switch in the upper right corner and the keyboard will auto pop up when in an input box.
This is nice. I like the look of it. Will update more later as I explore, But so far its looking great!
Thank you again!

it's ok to flash on 4.1.2 bootloader ?
Looking good. For those who want to know, the s-pen does work but not the same as when using touchwiz. Also, shows a mouse pointer on screen when using it. A little startling at first but I kind of like being able to seen where the point is going to touch down.
flashed, but it is impossible to turn off the screen, the tablet reboots imediately
turn wifi on

Bug(?): Long pressing home button doesn't open recent apps.
Request: How do we enable the navigation bar? Also, is there a way to disable the samsung capacitive buttons buttons? ( tired of inadverently hitting the back button or menu button when drawing)

Sweet. BTW, was able to set home button to open recent apps via buttons section in settings. In case anyone else has a brain fart like me.
Is this official with auto-update
Bugs
I've discovered that Netflix doesn't work. When trying to play a video, it just sticks on "Loading."
Some googling has revealed that this is pretty common with CM12 builds, although it seems to slowly be getting fixed.
I see this in my logcat:
Code:
12-14 00:05:16.683 W/ResourceType(2381): No package identifier when getting value for resource number 0x00000000
12-14 00:05:16.683 W/PackageManager(2381): Failure retrieving resources for com.netflix.mediaclient: Resource ID #0x0
Hope this helps!
EDIT:
Google Play Movies suffers from the same issue.
Code:
12-14 00:32:46.588 W/PackageManager(2381): Failure retrieving resources for com.google.android.videos: Resource ID #0x0
MX Player plays videos fine though. I suspect because it relies on its own libraries/codecs, rather than the built-in ones.
ROM is good. Moving applications to the memory card again is impossible.
Is there any chance to repair this error?
Stop brining up this folder mount app2sd stuff until the day the dev for those apps make proper lollipop update as far as I've heard lollipop fixed a large amount of sd card access.
Back on topic as app2sd function is offtopic due to kitkat breaking it like a bad habit....
Besides the lack of soft keyboard when starting up pleasantly pleased by the tablets performance.
sofar though seams a slight drop in fps in ppspp compared to kitkat guess thats just still fine tuning the mali gpu drivers for lollipop
double adaptive display in display settings one up top an one on the bottom... a little confusing but ok.
No option to remove cursor as I can tell for when using s pen an some apps that bring some of the spen like function back say no multitouch found.... Guess that is also a issue with just getting the drivers for the wacom digitizer ported over.
Overall two thumbs up for updating our device faster then samsung would have if they felt like it!
Yes I am requesting the ROM for 5100

Says right there other variants will be coming when he gets to it don't spam thread with offtopic.
on topicish now..
Look forward to when the wacom drivers get updated and can hide the pointer as I use my n5110 for drawing so re flashed back till thats updated.
After test seems everyting most important is working, the S-Pen on Papirus work but with hand over screen dosent work...
even the mouse point is activated by default you need do some workarround to disable
