[KERNEL][T][TX][Stock]-[Root]-[TWRP or CWM]-(unlock BL)

Update 1: Added TX stock kernel with recovery and root.
These are just latest stock JB kernels for T and XT packed with TWRP or CWM.
For Xperia T (LT30P) The kernel is from Latest firmware Xperia T 9.1.A.1.140 Generic Europe.
For Xperia TX (LT29i) the Kernel is from firmware TX 9.1.B.0.411).
Tested on stock based JB roms and work smoothly.

How to flash:
- Flash as any other zip using CWM or TWRP.
- Or you can extract the kernel.elf file (from the zip) and flash using fastboot.
How to get into recovery: when seeing pink led press Vol + or Vol - (either will work)!
How to change twrp and cwm?: you have to flash the file with the other recovery.
How to get full root: You can go to G-Play to install Superuser, SU binary and Busybox; Or it is easier to flash this root package by Gregbradley in recovery found in this Link: http://www.mediafire.com/?oo1e67ontouzron, then you will have full root.
I made it for my self as an exercise for fun, but guess it could be useful for some people. Don't forget to press thank if you find it useful. Cheers!

This is a test-stock TX kernel-repacked with TWRP 2.5.0.0.
The stock kernel was extracted from the stock JB 4.11 rom for TX, repacked with TWRP. The stock rom was from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2217699
Will need some advanced user to test it. I only have XT so cannot test it.
Flash the kernel.elf file via fastboot:

Before flash make sure you know how to get back if kernel does not work.
Let me know how it goes.

Boots up with FXP logo, twrp wotks ok but it shows version 2.4.1.0, LED stays on while in recovery, no big deal,
also if restored some of the blot apps back but they can be unistalled.
backup performed in 250 seconds.

Btw, it seems the older version of twrp has a problem to back up and restore (incomplete restore) so I would recommend to discard the back up you made with twrp 2,4.40 and make a new back up with 2.5.0.0. Cheers,

TWRP 2.5.0.0 seems to have fixed all of these.
I will try to do it with CWM 6.03 later on. Cheers.

I have tried your TWRP 2.5.0.0 stock kernel on my Xperia TX (LT29). with 9.1.B.0.411 FW. Everything works perfect. No bugs.
I'm waiting for a combination TWRP + CWM, may be if possible with root added!!!

I believe that root is already there. You can try to install superuser from Gplay and use some applications that requires root. Let me know if it is working. Cheers!

After applying this mod you can install apps with different signature like Xperia Z1 or newer Sony apps or custom themes, for instance the niaboc79's HeXaReD theme.

It might work for TX. If you use the leaked rom 4.3 for TX, try it and let me know if it works. I think it will.

Perfect!!! I just tried on my SXTX JB 4.3 deodexed (DaRk L0rD)... after flashing coming the bootup with update everything working then i installed HeXaReD v1.0 theme which need patched services.jar and its work perfectly!!!

everything seems to work fine, I have root access (tested with root checker)
How to install: take a back up of your current rom just in case
1-Download the flashable.zip
2-Go to recovery (I have used cwm) wipe data,cache and dalvick cache.
3-Flash the zip

This is 4.4.4 update. I really didn't test yet, but it seems to be very smooth, no lag at all and camera has been improved pictures are very clear not blurry like in the 4.4.2 update. can't tell you about the battery yet but feel free to ask and I'll test

I tied, after wiping everything when I flashed it after saying "Installing files, this may take some time' just after 1 sec it said "Installed successfully" then it said Unpacking superuser and something and then it gave an error.
After trying several times I flashed CM again :/

if you only neet root on stock 5.1.1 with unlock bl
you can flash the FTF and flash any kernel with recovery
then flash supersu zip and recovery zip
and then flash the ftf again exclude system

Since the hardware (and software) is mostly the same, is there any chance this could work on the Z4 Tablet (SGP771)? Currently there seems to be no working dedicated kernel for the newest firmware..
