maybe it is because the change Wifi MAC address

[Q]Setting Hostname on Wifi Network

I have done this with the Galaxy S2 from the following XDA forum
However, when I attempt this with Galaxy Note, nothing happened on my WiFi Router. The DHCP Client List in the router management only indicates the device as "Unknown". I recognized the MAC address.
Can someone please help? I'm using a TP-Link TL-WR841N router.

I tried, it did not work even after I pulled it out and edited it on the PC before putting it back and setting back the permissions.

Isn't there anyone who can advise on this since it can be done in the S II...

I have a Samsung Galaxy mini S5570i and I can't establish Vpn connection.
Since I bought the phone it doesn't work. It's like he connects for a half of second and disconnect. I also have Galaxy S and it works wonderfull on it. Please help!!

Hi, My HTC one connects to wifi but I don't have internet access, my laptops and my Samsung s2 connects just fine on my wifi, I can't figure out whats wrong..

Try using a static IP address for you device..it will help!

I would reboot your router. It just sounds like there is an IP conflict.

Hey i installed cm9.1 on galaxy tab gsm gt-p1000.i open wifi it recognizes other routers in the building but not my router i dont know why. Plz help me quickly
