beats audio is basically a custom EQ fyi, you can get more if you just tweak EQ settings yourself

My Beats ear buds did not work with my Xperia Z1S. My Nokia Purity headphones did work though. Funny that the same company made both.

I flashed a lot of zip file of beats audio so when i play music i can't see beat logo in smart bar.so i want to find beatsaudio app and when play music beataudio logo will appear or the same zip file.
I haven't heard of any beats audio app. Are you sure you haven't seen a modded music player? Just with new icons and stuff?

Yep it just works on some HTC devices and u need something else to activate the beats audio...let me think...what was it? O yes;

I myself prefer AKG to BEATS...beats is just selling because of it's ads.

If u have a beats headset just use it like others coz Audiobeats is not available for x8. There are some but they are fake like Xloud

To that answer, there will be needed app to detect those special earphone and take another configuration to that special earphone to work...
In what music player? our recently rom has not yet included the beats earphone detection programs....

no, during that time i din't test for logcat and post it at dev thread that beats audio is working....
actually is not beats audio lib is loaded to provide such as effect, it's the xLoud lib loaded and give difference sound compared to stocks one...
so i inspect in-deep and Thanks for Paul-xxx that he teach me how does the [email protected]#$% lib work in GB 2.3 rom
Very last, SRS trumedia is born from it

I kinda wonder why? You have beatsaudio built in!
The real srs or dolby or whatever is not useable unless you have the right speaker.
Maybe i am wrong but i have not seen any headphones who can perform true srs or dolby. Don't look at signs or what are they tellin ya. Music perception it's very individuall of course. But real music connoisseur wouldn't try to achieve that kind of quality with phone........

Beats are works great with original earphone but not really great woth my marshall headphone. I've try it and SRS is better.

Hey guys, on the Galaxy Ace, the audio quality is ok. But the bass is not really there. I have some Steelseries Siberia V2's which is a monster on my PC, and bass can really shake up your ears. But on the phone, I set it to the loudest, set the Equaliser to Bass enhancement and don't get any bass at all. Is there something I can do to improve Bass? Thanks.

Unless there's an undo zip, you'll have to reflash your ROM (no wipe).

Beats really enhances the device audio via headphones using extreme bass boost.
I really respect the exploit port. No need to come here and bash on it.
But I respect opinions. What would you recommend instead?
ANd as Chris said, you will have to reflash. Or you could try installing another audio manager from the market. You will be prompted to set default.
Or
You could explore audio settings in settings.
You cant turn it off, if you want to remove it you have to reflash your rom.

So I'm getting a note 2 very soon and so I'll be using my IncS as a media phone in my car, speakers at parties etc. So what ROMs would you guys recommend with what sounds mods? The reason I ask "what ROM" is because some ROMs support different mods to other ROMs, cheers guys.

AOSP if you want to be flashing mods like awesomebeats and ac!d with equalisers
Viper if you want to use the built in SRS, Dolby or beats. SRS and Dolby on viper is actually dope so I highly recommend those for sound enhancements
If the note 2 has a Wolfson DAC though, I'd be using that

One of them takes out sound in the phone calls but a media player doesn't make phone calls

I find that some actually do. I was amazed when I first used kingbeatz (nexus 7 mod) and iirc it works on the incredible s too. I can't remember taking a phone call though
