I am having trouble with Watch Styler. It forces closed when I try to load a face from Gear Faces. I have restarted my phone and reloaded the app but it still does it. Has anyone else had this trouble?

Anyone?
I can't believe that no one has any ideas for me on this.
Delete the watchface from where you have it on your phone from watch face.com. Then try opening up the app again. If it doesn't force close then, next load one theme at a time and see which one is causing the issue. I have had the same issue and this fixed it.

So you are saying I should delete all of the faces I have downloaded and delete Watch Styler. Then reload WS and faces one at a time?
Watchstyler force closes
I can't even get to the point where I can see my downloaded faces. As soon as I click the Load Theme button the app force closes...

I am Not sure what change since yesterday but I did update the gear Manager application. It will not let me check update by location in the gear manager app, and when I click on the box nothing happens. Has anyone else noticed anything similar?

I have the same issue, no weather updates are making it to the gear but I was able to set the city on the Note 3 yet it still says no city on the Gear.
Pretty strange. I never figured out the issue.

i am getting notifications on my Gear and can tap them when they popup to see the message or whatever. all i have changed is i switched to Watch Styler and now i no longer have the "Notifications" favorite?
when i had it until just a few minutes ago i could tap it and see Gmail, FB, G+ etc... and view previous alerts.
i looked in Gear Manager and it is not listed anywhere to add it to favorites or anything and its just there.
any thoughts as to something i may have done and how to get it back?
thanks
Which firmware? Others had noticed this too

reset without restore was only solution and now its back.

Reset without restoring does the job.
Had the same issue.
Sadly had to reset. So anytime I change the icons in the settings will delete Notifications? I can't even access Notifications in the Gear Manager My Apps. Quite sad.

You should not have any problems with notifications tab now. I haven't since I reset.

I don't think it ever existed in gear manager?
Just one of those things that requires a reset to appear (usually because of permissions). Not uncommon for android
I had the same problem running Null 18 and GM 1.6. Resetting was the only way to fix. EVERYTIME you try to modify your favorites apps on GM Notifications icon will disappear again and again the only fix is resetting your Gear. I did it three times just to be sure

I have watch styler installed on my note 3 and created a nice watch styler theme and applied it to my gear. No problems. I shutdown the gear and charged it overnight. I turned it on this morning and instead of my theme it says Create a theme on the watch. I created a new theme and applied it but I have the same message. I removed the widget and recreated it but I get the same thing. How can I fix this?

Do you have the latest version?
I would like to know if it's possible to load the Twitter QuickView app and not have it dormant on the notifications screen. I have uninstalled it but this remains. I'd like to remove it.
I prefer to use the native Twitter app on the phone as notifications can be viewed on the Gear and then deleted. Quickview takes ages to load and often doesn't even open.
Any suggestions?

I had the exact same problem with the facebook QuickView app - I uninstalled it and still it hung out in notifications. If you reset your Gear that'll take care of it.

I was hoping that wasn't the answer but I will back up with Wondershare tonight and reset. Thank you!

Yeah, that wasn't my first choice either.
I have a folder with some notification sounds and apk's that I just adb to the watch, so restoring after a backup is fairly quick. I haven't used Wondershare, but I hear good things. Happy resetting!
Hello everyone
I've been having this issue with Samsung phones only when I had the note 4 with different versions of android from lollipop until now on oreo
I dont know what cause it but when I got the note 8 I did a fresh install without recovering any data from my backup
But it appeared again I did a factory rest and it was gone then it came back
I only install trusted apps but seems it's a system thing cause it only show when
Apps r either uninstalled or being updated
Pics in the attachment
Hope I get an answer coz its frustrating specially when u watch videos
I'm not rooted but developer option is enabled
Disabling it doesn't change anything
Anyone ?
So you are getting these toasts at random? The only time I see an uninstalled toast is whenever I actually uninstall an app. I have noticed with Oreo that uninstalling an app is no longer "instant", there is a delay which is annoying. Upon uninstall, the app doesn't disappear from the app drawer right away & the uninstall toast takes a while to pop up.

The uninstalled toast is normal. With past Android versions it didn't list the package name getting uninstalled but you still got a goast saying uninstalled finished.
What I don't understand is if you only get these toasts when uninstalling an app, how are you getting them while watching a video?
Luckypatcher? Cough cough.

Sounds like a Substratum issue to me or third party launcher if you are using one.
