Help - updating ADP1 to cm-4.2.13

I try to update ADP1 to cm-CyanogenMod-4.2.13 (the same issue is with 4.2.12 as well).
The issue is that the market will not download apps (it will try to start but it will not download).
The Google talk will crash on opening, and GTalk service is not running.
Any one has any idea on how to solve this?
Thx for the help

[Q] Cant go in clockwork recovery mode

Hi all,
I have been using CM 6.1 Stable since it has been released and yesterday i decided to reinstall it. But when i tried to boot in clockwork recovery i was stuck in red triangle screen. I reflashed it trough the rom manager several times but there wasn't any result. Any ideas?
Press volume up + power. A new menu will appear - apply the update.zip and you'll reboot into recovery.

Galaxy Mini 2 recovery loop

I was trying to make a backup of my entire system through CWM(based) 5.0.2.8, but after it was done and I rebooted it, it started up in recovery mode again, and it does this with every reboot.
I've tried 1 fix I found which could have worked (exitrecovery.zip), but it did not work, and I couldn't find one specificly for the GT-S6500D.
I am hoping someone knows of a fix.
Cheers.
edit: I'm also not able to access Download Mode for some reason.

Whose CWM did you use ? Squadzone's or mb-14's ?
You can access the download mode by holding Volume Down + Home + Power pressed until the download mode prompt appears , then press Volume Up to continue .
If you manage to get into download mode , flash Squadzone's CWM with Odin and the problem will be fixed .
I hope the so-called "exitrecovery.zip" didn't make the Download Mode unavailable and you were just pressing the wrong buttons . If you won't be able to enter DM , your phone is quite toast .
Help

I got the same problem as you! But I wen to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1255214 and download the file Root Zip for G2X: http://www.mediafire.com/?92qpr525ztblh8w and put in a SD card... then in recovery go to install zip from SD card and install that file, and reboot. I will be just the same recovery-loop but now at least I could go to download mode (volume down+home+power) and put odin from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1768622 and install the ClockWorkMod 5.0.2.8 again with odin and then my cellphone fix! Hope this help you too man!

this solved my problem.
I had the same problem with rooting S6500
I give you here my fix that stops boot with CWM Recovery (you will still access CWM recovery with Volume Down + Home + Power pressed)
Resolution 100% for bootlooping S6500 with CWM Recovery
1 - Grab a stock rom
2 - Extract boot.img
3 - Go to Linux and run
Code:
tar -H ustar -c boot.img >boot.img.tar
4 - flash boot.img.tar with ODIN (donwload mode Volume Down + Home + Power pressed)
you boot normally now!
5 - try recovery CWM - Volume Up + Volume Down + Home + Power pressed
NOTE:
‘ustar’ Creates a POSIX.1-1988 compatible archive needed for ODIN (7zip and others on windows doesnt have this option, and gives errors on flashing, so dont use them)
have fun!
i've resolved this problem by flashin cwm thru odin again..
TAR for Windows
Here is the link for "Tar for Windows":
http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/gtar.htm
Download and install it.
after instalation:
1. Extract boot.img from the firmware file, using 7zip (ignore the error)
2. Open a command prompt window in the folder containing boot.img (Shift+Right Click anywhere in the folder window, or CD to the folder)
3. Run the command instructed by testz:
Code:
tar -H ustar -c boot.img >boot.img.tar
4. flash boot.img.tar with ODIN (donwload mode Volume Down + Home + Power pressed)

Boot into Recovery which is not working, no download mode, normal boot

Hi Guys,
I really need some help. I did few things with my phone because I had some problems with rooting. My phone was rooted, but I was getting some messages that something is wrong.
The Superuser was not there and when I used "Rom Checker" I've got a messages that my root is not working properly. Because of that I couldn't go to recovery mode to upgrade my Rom. I used "Kingo ROOT" to root my phone. After this, I went to recovery mode using "Rom Manager" application, but when I've got there I was only able to use Vol UP / Vol Down to select, but I was not able to confirm for selection with Power Button (it means I'm not able to select anything.
When I try to go to the "download Mode" or to come back to normal boot it always comes to Android system recovery <3e>, and I cannot do anything to change it.
On the screen in the middle with yellow letters, I have the message:
--Copying media files...
Successfully copied meida files.
# MANUAL MODE #
--Appling Multi-CSC...
Installing Multi-CSC
Can't access to '/system/csc/TMB/system/ '.
Successfully applied multi-CSC.
What can I do to fix this problem? Please, Can someone help me?
Thank you in advance for any help.
IS THERE ANYBODY WHO CAN HELP ME !!!!!
I Just Need Someone To Help Me To Get Back To Normal Mode or To Get To Restore (working !!!!) Mode

Lenovo Yoga Tab 2 830F - bootloader unlock and permanent TWRP guide

The original posts by ionioni and workdowg have been removed, and it was very confusing for me to piece together what needed to be done. I will mainly link to the other excellent guides here and elsewhere, and only write a summary of steps.
1) Unlock bootloader - http://club.lenovo.com.cn/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=1156890 - (it's in Chinese, just use Google Translate - I downloaded the 830F file and it seemed to work for me). Download the zip file, extract the img files. Reboot to fastboot, and do "fastboot flash ESP 830f-esp-patched.img". Then, reboot to check that the system still boots.
2) Get recovery file from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/recovery-t3322990 - actual file link - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24421527759888155
3) Shutdown tablet
4) Start up tablet in DNX mode - hold power, volume up and down buttons together for a few seconds - tablet will start up, and you will see “Fastboot starting….” (this was the missing step that I needed to make it work) - based on a comment by ionioni in some thread in this forum
5) Shutdown tablet by long pressing power button
6) Start tablet in fastboot mode, by holding power + volume down button
7) Now flash the recovery file downloaded in step 2 - fastboot flash recovery <file>
8) Once it’s finished, confirm success by booting into recovery mode - press volume down/up button to cycle between options (shown in rectangle box at the top of the screen) and choose Recovery - TWRP should start up!
9) Then, restart the tablet or continue normal boot, and then reboot into recovery to confirm that TWRP indeed starts up automatically
10) Profit!!!
Thanks, I was also very confused after bumping into the mysterious locked/first post deleted threads about TWRP on the Yoga Tab 2 !
I'd rooted it originally with the CWM Hack but after some "familly password mess-up" I'm finding I could use TWRP to get into data/system to delete the password files. Will try your method out although it doesn't look like a temporary TWRP access is possible and unlocking the bootloader will, well hard reset it, so...
EDIT - ok, first problem, to download the .esf file it seems you have to register on the Lenovo Chinese site using a Chinese phone number ?
I don't remember how I downloaded the file, maybe I did register for an account? I think email can be used for registration, try that.
I've stored the file on Google Drive, here's the link:
830f-esp-patched.zip
drive.google.com
Very kind of you, thanks !
I just bought that tablet Yoga 2-1050F and read something about it here and there but still not sure if I can do that on 1050F? I read in other thread that both ver use the same kernel? The specs are the same, same CPU and GPU.
You know some good custom ROM for it, or are they any? As I see the development for that model wasn't so popular
do you need the tablet be on Lollipop ? or kitkat is just fine ?
