i bought lumia 1520 a day ago,
i saw when there no light in the room (at night) and when i activate auto brightness and also the white theme(because the condition is more abvious in white theme) the screen light is Dims and increase (the light of screen goes up and down)...is this normal or not????thanks for help.ihope you will help.....thanks very much.

I noticed a slight discoloration on my sgs recently. Donno what the problem is. I tried to check the brightness levels, did the screen test and everything seems good. My friend recently bought an sgs and I took a look at his screen and it was way too bright and more of white on this screen when compared to mine.
I noticed more of yellow on my screen instead of true white so anything in white doesnt look really white but a mix of yellow and white
Can anyone help me please?
So just like many of you guys I came over to the Z3c from the Moto X. One of the things that I loved about the Moto X was the perfectly black screen for a bedside clock.
I don't know if it's a difference in the screen technology or if I'm just daft , but I can't find a way to do the same thing on the Z3c. No matter what I set or which app I've tried the screen is still a very bright backlit black color at night. Even without any clock numerals it's too bright.
Anyone have some insight ( pun intended) for me?

Like most phones, the Z3C is IPS. When the screen is on, the backlight is on. The filter tries it's best to block light when you want things black. There is nothing you can do about it other than lowering brightness, but the clock will be dim also.
The Moto X is AMOLED. In AMOLED, there is no backlight.
when i turn my screen brightness all the way down and sometimes on auto the screen will flicker on white and grey spaces and sometimes on a skype call and if i sit there long enough the screen will have a bright yellow tent .
this started happening when i updated to lolipop and im on stock . how do i fix this ?
My new Mi 8 seems to have a defective screen. The defect becomes visible when the screen brightness is very low. Is this normal on Mi 8? Or mine is just defective? I've noticed it yesterday night when using a blue light filter called Night Shift. It's visible specially on reddish background and a blue light filter makes the screen color to reddish. You should also try yours and see if it's defective. I specifically downloaded a black image for a better view and turned on Night Shift with Dark filter and lowered brightness at 1-5%
The point is, what is the point of using the phone at brightness 1-5%?
Hello guys,
I am having a problem with my phone.
During low artificial light conditions or completely dark conditions, the dark colours are displayed white some white shadows, it's really annoying.
During normal light conditions everything is displayed correctly.
I did a factory a reset but the problem didn't gone.
I am using the European version 12.5.4.
Is this a general problem for RN10 pro or only with my phone?
I just bought the phone and I can return it.
