I switched to Xperia Z1 from Nexus 5 and I find screen gamma to be quite low, how can I change it, or calibrate it? I know that these features came with custom kernels on Galaxy S3, which kernel for Xperia Z1 offers me an option to tweak colors?
Are there custom kernels for Stock Roms (Released by Sony?) - I have unlocked bootloader.
None of the custom kernels ATM

The tx is a very nice phone, but I cannot stand the stock Sony ui, and do prefer the aosp looks.
But since the tx is sold in very limited markets, not everyone has one, hence development is very slow.
I'm pretty sure Sony has the full kernel sources for the tx, and if that's the case, I'll probably set up my own Linux box to compile my own aosp ROM.
Or would it be a better option to port an existing ROM? I'm not too keen to cross flash from T ROMs as I softbricked my tx before.

Could someone tell me what roms officially support the Xperia SP please?
And does anyone know what the MOST stable rom for an Xperia SP is?
Thanks
Stable rom?Use stock or stock based roms. There are many roms out there in development section.
Now don't ask which is best rom or which is better because it is against the xda rules.

Like umair42 said, stock should be the most stable, but you can look for CM11 for locked or unlocked bootloaders (depends on your phone) on this forum. I can recommend CM11 by Bagyusz for LBL.
Hi There,
I have read that Sony released the Kernel Sources.
Does this mean that Custom Kernel could be soon on available for our LB XZ ?
Sorry for noon question but not fully confident with Sony's security.
Thanks
No. You can't run custom kernels on locked bootloaders. Sony have always released kernel source and that has no bearing on running custom kernels on a locked bootloader.

I currently using stock rom stock kernel, rooted on my xperia z
Can I install dt2w feature without any kernel with performance mod or something?
DT2W needs support in the kernel, so a custom kernel is a requirement.
I am deciding on buying either the s4 or the z1. The galaxy s4 dev community seems more active and there is a dual boot solution for it... Is there a dual boot solution also on the xperia z1?
Back in the days of xperia x10, the bootloader was locked.. is it the case for the xperia z1? is it as "hackable" as the s4?
Its upto u what u buy.. Multiboot available for z1 though it requires unlock bootloader from which Stock and AOSP Roms work Simultaneously
Also all AOSP ROMs need UB too
