I was thinking , start with a kernel , then move to a rom , or shoudl it be the other way around ?
do you guys have cm10 nightlies already ?
if so ill start working on kernel this week .

[DEV]Porting stock 4.2.2 into Xperia T,TX,TL,V

Guys, I was wondering if I get 4.2.2 JB update for Xperia T,TX,TL and V. I will get some features like Stamina Mode, New LockScreen and many more. Now, I'm starting development about porting stock 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with 4.2.2 stock ROM that I was got from Doomlord 4.2.2 Leak on this link :
Xperia Z 4.2.2 Leak JB ROM
If you want to help me to develop porting stock 4.2.2. Please someone help me to change something like :
-Editing ramdisk on kernel
-Building kernel with 4.2.2 Support
-Will support for T,TX,TL and V
I hope it will require unlocked bootloader and I hope you can help me to appreciate

Then ask doomlord if possible...

We will get 4.2.2 soon(maybe in two months).is it worth the effort dude?it would be a good learning experience for you though.goodluck and I am available if you need any help.i don't have alot of free time though.

We need CM first, then everything will be easier. Right now a couple of devs are building CM 10.2. When that comes out, I am sure MIUI, AOSPA+, AOKP and whatever AOSP based ROMs out there will start popping out.

on xperia u forum, DevSwift1 (by using munjeni patch rom) was able to port MIUI v4 base on stok ICS fw.. (.54).. also on xperia sola (by munjeni). on xperia go, munjeni even able to port MIUI v5 base on stock JB. so, maybe we should ask them....?

Well I saw such thing, too already but it was only stock, spammed with MI launcher and locker and some framework exits

Yes, but if you can, try to improve the performance in the Ram use, because, using aroud of 2 or 3 apps the rom is very slow. Good luck with your project. Sorry for my bad english.

Yes, but with some tweaks and improvements the rom maybe run smother than others 4.2.2

Hi I tried porting the rom from a chinese device from zte but the battery drains too quickly. In 2mins from 100 to 50 percent
EDIT : Anyone can try porting this

Try to flash space's badass kernel or MA6 kernel from mardon. Maybe it helps.

I ported the belokta note 4 rom it is working but there is unknown baseband issue as it hets solved I will start a devdb.

if the issue isnt solved it is better to start a new thread in developing forum and ask for developers help because most of them dont even enter to q a forum

I currently dont have time unfortunately ! but qasim said that he ported dn4 rom but he have issues with imei ! he hasnt been online since long time

sorry for delay, rom has major issue of imei and baseband so as it get resolved i will start a devdb.
i need you guys for it.recently i found some information about this a person already tried porting i9300 rom to i9305 the problem is not in ril it is in services.jar and framework2.jar they needs to be decompiled and changed.
