(ROM) (PRO) Ported Arconium 8.2 and Arconium ICS V4.0

Hi, I was able to port the Arconium to our device. I thought of sharing them with other Xperia Pro users.
Gingerbread, please read Arconium 8.2
ICS, please see Arconium ICS 4.0
Kernel, please use Xperia Pro Ultima it has versions for GB and ICS.
Another kernel for ICS is ArcKnight
Before installation, please copy the ROM ZIP file to SDCARD.
GB download
ICS download
Installation:
1. flash the proper kernel version for the ROM version that you wish to flash. (i.e. GB kernel for Arconium 8.2 and ICS kernel for Arconium ICS V4). Please use the latest versions.
2. boot into CWM recovery
3. factory reset, wipe cache partition and wipe dalvik cache.
4. install zip from SD card
5. reboot
Note for ICS, in AROMA installer you may select either ARC or ARC S, i did not edit AROMA script (mainly because i do not know exactly what i was doing LOL)

it looks like the orginal ICS but with bloat removed more or less.
Been running it for a day now and haven't had any problems at all.

based on its changelog on the original thread, battery life has been improved.
give it a shot and let us know how it works for you

I would just like to post here to say thanks for this nice port!
Thought still not as fast as GB, this is really fast and stable. The moment I started up the phone, I can already feel that it is faster than stock ICS.
I haven't found any bugs yet. With Arconium + O/C + Link2SD, I believe I am going to stay with this ROM for a long while.
Edit: forgot to mention that I am using Riyal's kernel, thanks to Riyal too!

Used This Rom A Week Ago.
I would say ppl who like to stay with the features and looks of stock ICS with improved speed and battery life.
This is the ROM for them. Thanx to the dev team for such a ROM.

since this is a stock-based rom, you could use it with stock kernel.
so long as you have CWM to flash it.

First of all, every custom rom (based on custom kernel) requires an unlocked bootloader and as the bootloader unlock breaks the camera that functionality will be lost in each and every custom rom until Sony fixes the issue.

Yeah there are a few, under android development section that only require root.
monxDIFIED has been one of my fav's since Xperia Z

Bump, same question as topic.
My wifes z1c has camera and battery issues, i need a rom that just works, no bells or wistless, just that it works, all of it. Besides that, battery is the second most important thing.
Any advice on ROM, kernel, mods etc?

u can try CM 12 , the nighties are pretty stable (except minor bugs like auto brightness).
U have to unlock ur bootloader fr this (Remember to take a back up of TA partition before playing with bootloader)

If you don't want to unlock your bootloader, follow my link below for a stable custom rom runs at .157. It's my favorite ROM of all and i also included in beta testing so i rest assure its a good ROM

i've an unlocked Bootloader ! running under IHackers 6.2 (kitkat) and everything work just fine ! battery is realy good & have stock camera !
hoping that they develope a Lolipop Rom !

nice. well he's just waiting for a good person to donate some for his Z1 so he can continue the project.

For kitkat, id recommend iHackers,
For lollipop i recommend rockZ1L,
For costum ROM, i recommend ressurection remix, ive tried it and its pretty stable for daily use.

I recommend iHackers. Bug free and stable release. No issue atall for the camera.

X8" in my signature. Those are all the ROMs for the Xperia X8. There are only 2 Kitkat ROMs and both of them have bugs.

I use JB Mini Project with 2.6.32.62-XPerience-KK04 Kernel. This ROM isn't the best when it comes down to speed but it is when you are looking to get a lot of cool features.

Unfortunately I do. I have a jbmini rom running now, and I've had tons of other roms flashed before this. What I do know: is that Browser crashes constantly it's barely usable, installing any apps like facebook is suicide the phone wil reboot the apps will crash etc etc
The only reason I still have JB on this phone is because I'm perfectly happy with my Galaxy S5 :good:

I have the same ROM (and with 2.6.32.62-XPerience-KK04 Kernel) and its works fine with Facebook Messanger and Whatsapp Installed(No random reboots). Why would you even used the stock browser with a lot of other better option out there, I use Opera Mini. And as I said before, there are other JB ROMs if what you want is speed.

My SP has drastic battery drain, 20% in an hour, with 2g data on. Wifi off. Not sure why. I was on LOCKED BL and installed SLIM KAT 4.4.4, still same issue.
I decided to unlock bootloader and install Custom Kernel
PLease suggest BEST KERNEL AND BEST CUSTOM ROM for battery POINT OF VIEW,

It's okay to use Williams kernel even if you're on Kitkat. As long as the ROM requires stock kernel, the Williams kernel will work as well.

Only you know your situation better than anyone else. I suggest you try out a couple of ROMs and kernel combinations and see which one works best. Also, try installing a minimal Gapps package to reduce battery consumption, such as this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2779598 .
You could also install one of the few custom kernels for XSP and underclock/undervolt it. Be cautious though.

My bootloader is unlocked though.. Currently running M11 Snapshot of official Cyanogenmod 11.

There's a locked bootloader alternative if you want, but if you insist, I wish you good luck! :good:

Best ROM for Xperia Z3+ (E6533)?

My Sony Xperia Z3+ currently runs on Android 7.1.1 Latest Stock Firmware, however it has battery issues and it get hot, i have tried using foil in the case of the phone but it still gets hot.
So what ROM is the best for this phone?
I want fast performance , good battery life, less lags...
And i want to play Asphalt 9 which is laggy.... on android 7.1.1 stock.

for better battery and less heat i can suggest u to go with m-rom.BUT ITS NOT AT ALL A GAMING ROM,its simple....one has to sacrifice something at the cost of other.for gaming...stick to stock with lower res settings in d game.

For games. Official rom is best.if you have lagg you can flash stock rom. I suppose you haven't flash stock rom yet. Do it. Your phone will be ok

Yeah, i'm on normal stock firmware from Sony, i haven't rooted the phone either.

u should download it from xperifirm & nowhere else.

Of course Nougat bro.... First flash the stock ftf.and then follow my instructions given in the thread link I've provided.Its way better than stock rom,, you 'll notice it in a day 's usage.
