True I agree with you on both the points.
Everything seems to be working fine, except the SD Card.
Working:
1. WiFI
2. GSM
3. 3G
4. Backlight
No force closes
Not Working:
SD Card
Not tested
MIC

Wiped cache.Factory Reset done,Installed this ROM successfully via CWM it took ages to boot the devices and now I just get the home screenwallpaper No H/W keys works - I pulled out battrey and rebooted the device twice but this ROM is not working for me

sound like a bad flash or download they work for everyone else that tried

HELP!!!!!!!!! I cant even get back to Recovery/Bootloader- when I pull the battrey out and Power the device HOLD the Volume down button I can see the MIKROM Bootscreen the Phone Vibes but doesnt get me to the bootloader I see the Home screenwallpaper and at bottom left of the screen it says SAFEMODE????

Do I flash a RUU? Can anyone help me fix this problem - please see the attached image -

Thanks for the upload. I am Malaysian, but straight away been using the global version posted by Xda's member yesterday as there is no update popes-up in my phone till I realize that the updates is only available through Sony Companion and not the OTA.
Any different in Malaysia's version vs the global version?

I've been on the JB ROM since Friday (actually using the HK one), and I noticed a few things:
- Phone has a tendency to get very hot under any kind of use. I'm typing this on ny phone right now and GSAM is telling me the temperature is hitting 35 - 40 C with nothing else running.
- Starting up the phone triggers the media scanner (as usual), but again it seems to eat battery and fart heat like mad for the time media scanner needs to finish checking the phone.
- Leave the thing hot for long enough and the phone will reboot.
I don't see anyone using tbe global ftf having these problrms and am wondering if the Malaysian ftf is also problem-free

Anyone here experiencing any bug for Malaysian FTF? I used for 2 weeks, notice that sometime I lock my phone, the screen backlight still on with the Xperia logo on. when having call, sometime the screen doesn't turn off and your face will accidentally touch the keypad.

[PATCH] Porting Xperia T ROM to TX [JB]

Hi All!
First of all, I'm not an android developer, just someone wondering why there's plenty ROM for XT but just a little for XTX JB.
So my mind thinking that "why not porting it to TX, 'cause it share same chip?"
Based on our member asterix005 who made XT patch to XTX ICS, I tried to do the same thing, only i'ts for JB. And luckily it's done! I've been testing for one day with peetr__'s hybrid rom, and it's worked like a charm.
For installation, you need these things :
Xperia TX
Any JB ROM for Xperia T -> Install this first before applying patch!
this patch
CWM Recovery (not testing it on TWRP)
Another information, I've got unlocked bootloader with DooMKernel

Everything is working. But not on the inscription Xperia

yup.. that's the only thing that not works..

I tested on [ROM] Xperia Curiosity v2.7 [07-05-2013] [UltraLite]
It totally works, except for not burning labels Xperia.

Great job.
Issue with xperia illumination is in liblights-core.so.
When device is powered on from sleep it invokes this lib and by default it should invoke "logo" by pressing power button or screen on but issues is that in t ROM power service doesn't call for this lib correctly.

Hi. There was a problem at my friend.
His actions:
1) Sew the patch immediately after recovery of the topic.
2) flashed firmware from T through flashtool
(already seen the wrong action)
After startup, the display is inverted, a touch will not work.
Flashing by Flashtool from TX does not help. Recovery through SEUS too. There are methods?

I'm sorry bro.. I don't have that problems. did you recheck your internet connections?

one thing you might want to change in updater script is touch firmware from
touch_module_id_0x32.im_ to touch_module_id_0x32.img
peetr renemed this to .im_ in his so it dosn't flash new firmware when you flash rom

TX's or T's or the one included in ROM patch ?

Use Xperia TX kernel. either stock or custom kernel

there is nothing like safe mode in android..its for pc in windows os. use the search button to find the way to enter recovery.

there is safe mode in Android. it works on my Ray running JB. I don't know that its available in 2.3

Only system apps are loaded in safe mode, that's why it's called safe mode
Maybe your home app is not a system app

Several posts on Google suggest there is a safe mode for X8, but the typical ways of enabling it (power/menu/volume button combinations) either get me to xRecovery or do nothing at all. Might be a ROM/Android version thing, seeing that -HuntDX- managed to access it.
Nice thing to have, and useful too. Might not have to resort to full wipe/restore backup every time something goes wrong.

If you reboot again without pressing the keys it will boot into normal mode.

Don,t be afraid. I think you have flashed a ported T rom to TX. Do the follow:
1. Flash the new rooted deodexed ROM for TX from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=44351297 ( http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23060877489998414 ) Restart. In case when problem don't disappear, reflash one of following kernels:
2. DoomKernel for TX: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2225158
3. V!sk Kernel for TX: http://forum.xdadevelopers.com/showthread.php?p=45531868#post45531868

not success with xperia T rom

Have you tried to do a FULL wipe (cache, Dalvik, system, data) BEFORE reinstalling these ROMS?. This is a software problem, not a hardware problem, really! No software couldn't reverse the hardware circuitry in the phone!

Yes I have try format system,data,cache,sdcard then up TX stock root rom or reflash stock rom through flashtool but it still revert that is odd,somebody had been same this problem and they replacement display !

I have try {TX}[ROM][JB4.2.2] LOVINS PAC With Xperia Z Ultra/Honami Firmware and add ro.sf.hwrotation=180 into build.prop then after boot screen had been normal but still revert in cwm or logo Sony boot , camera on this rom not work

Hi guys. Sorry for my English. I have such problem on my TX after flashing a custom Rom. i tryed to use my backup but it was still upside down. Than i had install first AOKP and than CM 10. And now i have got upside down recovery but normal work after system dounload. Also waiting for fix

I just now made an experiment. I flashed the AOKP Rom from link above, and than flashed ggaps and PATCH T to TX, and i get also upside down, so i think it`s possible to fix build.prop, but it`s need to know how insert those lines about screen 180. if there was any clever person hwo can made it...
