Hello XDA,
so I really like those little avatars that people have, the little cartoony character portrait icons that people make to look like themselves.
Where is it that people make those? I would normally assume that the person just made it themselves but I have seen them all over the net, and they all look so similar that it leads me to believe they all come from a similar source.

none of those seem to be what I was thinking of, let me try to find some examples.
Thanks for the source though.
I think I know which one you mean. But, I've never made one myself. Is it this one: https://www.google.com/search?clien....1c.1.37.mobile-gws-hp..2.12.1209.-8QE_6OKLF4

these seem to follow the style i meant, better.
they all seem to follow pretty much the exact same design standards which leads me to believe they are made from the same exact tool.
I think I found it this time. I think we were having trouble googling it because it was an iPhone app first: http://www.faceyourmanga.com/

Guys,What makes you think it isn't?
You know normally I am also like you guys and comment such things on posts like these but did you read about the android 4.1 "jellybean" screenshot on the galaxy nexus screenshot on the google wallet checkout screen?
If not check this out :
Although it is blurred it seems to have a translucent google search bar and is the galaxy nexus just like the screen shot in that app! and that screen shot has been posted by google and not by any 3rd party app developer which means that it has a 100% chance of being true.
And I wouldn't be surprised if there are not many visual changes in the 4.1 update... Google maybe saving them up for the 5.0 update.
What do you think now? :cyclops:
I think it is, the wallpaper reminds me of jellybeans
Good for you... now how does this relate to themes?

OP...if you created the app you're talking about, then you can post in this section but since you haven't, this thread is closed.
This forum is only for threads showcasing actual themes and/or apps.
I in no way did anything to help make this, but wanted to share because it works awesome on the vivid. Just download the zip file and flash in recovery.

You know theres already a thread about this (which links to the original thread)..like 4 threads down from this one?
But there's no easy link, and this link is for the updated and final version. I figure I'd cut to the chase and actually deliver a link instead of a link to a video...

There are no visible links when viewing from the mobile app. I haven't come across a post yet in the mobile app that references a link but doesn't show it' so I assumed there were none. So, sorry about that. I just never use the website.

No link, only a play symbol that directs to a broken you tube link. And that screen shot was taken after clicking on the link above this one in the mobile app.
So I don't know why my xda app isn't showing them.... Again, sorry!

I got the free one and I'm guessing seeing links is a perk of the paid app. Maybe it's time to spend a couple bucks!

Hello XDA-U, I am here to share some videos (or rather, a user) I found on YouTube that has a full set of videos on how to both make android apps AND the top to bottom know all of Android. These videos have taught me quite a bit and I have only watched two. This is for those people that despise reading books and would prefer visual aid

The group is called MarakanaTechTV (as shown above). They don't just cover Android, but a whole range of things that would be useful to any and every tech enthusiast.
They have a series called "Android Boot Camp" (Latest edition is 2012) that teaches you Android starting at the bare bones of development. There is also a 2010 version (just go to their playlists). This would be great help for those just beginning.
