Search much?
At the moment, there is no way to update it officially. If you are new to android phones, I suggest you do a lot more reading before trying to create goldcards to force an update

Look in the HTC Incredible S Android Development forum, you'll get you answer.
Hello,
This week i'm getting a brand new stock HTC One.
I want to convert it to a Google Play Edition.
I want to use an official ROM from HTC. I want to install the latest Version. (4.4)
I don't need root and I want to receive OTA-Updates.
There are so many tutorials and threads.
For example: h**p://htc-one.wonderhowto.com/how-to/convert-any-htc-one-into-stock-google-play-edition-with-bootloader-recovery-ota-updates-0148068/
I'm not sure, but I think most of those manuals I've read don't use an official version from HTC.
Could sombody tell me or post a link on how to proceed to achieve the following demands:
-convert to GPE
-official latest GPE ROM (4.4)
-get future OTA-Updates
-not rootet.
Thank you
S-OFF.
If you don't know what that is, read up on it and acquire it. Not until then can you do a full convert.

If you had searched you would have found this:

Everything you need is in there. Read before you attempt anything.

Yes, I've done things like this some time ago with a HTC Desire, but I'm not a freak.
The linked thread uses almost the same procedure like the easy tutorial/video here:
h**p://htc-one.wonderhowto.com/how-to/convert-any-htc-one-into-stock-google-play-edition-with-bootloader-recovery-ota-updates-0148068/
The difference ist getting S-OFF. One uses "moonshine" and the other "revone".
I think it doesn't matter which one is beeing used?
Is the linked ROM [Stock(non-rooted) 4.4-3.58.1700.5 RUU Zip] an untouched ROM from HTC?
Will OTA work when going through the procedure?
Thinking of choosing Cyanogenmod too...?
Thanks
S-OFF method depends on Hboot version. Look here:

I have a rooted Sprint HTC one s-off and I just flashed the deoxed version of the new 4.4.2 kitkat update and I do have to say I am very upset with it. It has nothing I was looking forward too. I really want the google edition of the update, How would I be able to go about doing that because I cant find one that will flash onto my phone. i use TWRP 2.6.3.0 since I cannot find a newer version. personally I want the actual kitkat game type thing when you hit the android version and the photosphere 4.3 camera to be my stock camera. If anybody could help me with this or explain why it's not possible that would be fantastic and very helpful.
I don't have your answer but you should be posting in the questions section for a better chance of getting help. Not trying to come off as rude, I just want to let you know.
Thank you I was unwear about that place

Android L is not out yet, so forget about it. you will find tons of rom running the latest android version in the "ROM" section.
Rooting the phone is as simple as follow the video tutorial in the "root info" section of this forum.

Hi everyone sorry if this question has already been answered,
So I have a HTC One M7 and I want to install stock android or sense 6 (to remove my carrier boot and pre-loaded crapware), I still haven't decided because I'm unsure of some things. First of all if I do install stock android or sense 6 will I still be able to update to the latest version of android or sense 6 from the rom or do i need to periodically flash my rom to the latest version?
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum for One M7.
For more questions about you must register an account on XDA

If you choose a custom rom that have ota update support then its possible to use OTA to update your custom rom. Some other custom rom will require to flash the new version from a custom recovery to update it.
i.e Cyanogenmod can be update from ota updates.
you wont be able to use official ota update from HTC unless you revert everything back to stock which isnt really important if you want to use custom roms.

If you have posted help when this post was still in the xda assist forum, that's why it was removed. Only members with the "xda assist" status are allowed to answer questions in that forum.
thanks heaps! Also what exactly is ota?

ota = over the air. ota update is when the update is pushed directly to your phone and you get a notification that there is a new update to install (like on official HTC roms or on custom roms that support that feature)
WHen there is no ota update capability, you won't be notified of new versions automatically and you'll need to flash the updated rom using a custom recovery.

If you want a custom Rom close to stock look, take a look at ARHD. It's easy to use and the dev is great.

Hello everyone, im using a htc one m7 (wls) sprint. I upgraded the device via usb from android version 4.2.2 to 5.1 and since then my imei, baseband, UICC profile, PRL, and profile has been unknwon. The phone doesnt detect SIM. I'm in Nigeria where i cant find the sprint carrier network shop or oulet. Can anyone please help me out? i've tried using sim unlock helper by viper boy, still it doesnt work, maybe because there's no imei/baseband. I've also tried other OS including custom roms none works, the phone bricks (showing a white screen with htc written and then reboots on its own). The phone has been down since october 2017 till date still working on it but nothing positive comes out.

You probably flashed a GSM rom to the device.
You should mostly be looking in the Sprint m7 forum for appropriate roms and specific help with that model of the m7.
