Hey guys
If someone has good idea with what we can do about HTC front camera?
I just successfuly get the visio cam (HTC front cam) working by using C++!
max
>?
What do you mean by working?
It works just fine from the camera menu where you can change the front and back camera to take pictures..
Antitheft software? Face recognition with lockscreen?
Light measure for photo professionals?
And so on...
I have a problem with using stock lg camera as the images previewed in the gallery auto rotates 90(degrees) anti-clockwise and while using the front facing camera for video calls, my image is seen upside down.
It would be really helpful if someone can help me solve this problem.
thanks in advance
Hi, I've got a big problem.
One day I tried to take photo and I noticed that my cameras options are changed.
I've got all options from front camera using rear camera and vice versa.
I tried factory reset, hard reset, software change (global, global dev, china stable, xiaomi.eu) and nothing... Still same, but on china rom photos were taken. On other roms picture taken by front camera (with rear camera options - zoom x1) are like that:
I can't paste link here But its a lot of colorfull lines
I remember that they before that I taked photos in manual mode (Pro mode) and switched lens to tele ( I tried to make macro picture) - it was my last normall picture. Now I can only take pictures in normal mode using 2x zoom using front camera or back camera (which is always like 2x zoom)...
I also tried tap kernel info few times to make diagnostic but when I click rear or front camera option there is an error: "cameralist not match". When I change into Portrait mode in rear camera I've got "Can't connect to the camera" error.
I really don't know what I should do with that, maybe try to change a kernel or something ?
My Mi8 is a global version 6/64
I can't find anybody with problem like this
Hello all,
As I said in the title.
Out of boring I tried to see , physically which of the camera is for tele, wide and main.
While putting my finger on the camera, I discovered that the first camera in the row is not used at all in the software ...
Can you, please, check too ?
It's used for 2x... I just tested it.
Well, when you zoom into 2x in stock camera app, it automatically changes to tele camera. But if you cover the tele camera, it reverts to 48mp main camera.
But in some lighting conditions, it uses 48mp main camera even you zoom it 2x

I've noticed that too, it's used when in portrait mode thought. You can even trigger a weird behavior by changing to portrait mode and back to photo mode, then change to 2x zoom and telephoto lens will be used (like you would normally expect), then changing zoom levels randomly you can get to change 2x zoom to main sensor again.
It's uses digital 2x zoom when light is low and uses telephoto camera when there is enough light present
Recently I noticed that the stock Sony camera app does not use the telephoto lens at all !?!!
I am on the stock Android 11 (59.1.A.2.28).
Can someone else confirm or reject this?
You can simply cover the telephoto lens with your finger and switch the zoom to 2x on the camera app... (The telephoto lens is the lowest one on the back)
When I installed another camera app (Open Camera for example) it can take pictures with the telephoto and they definitely look different that that taken with the Sony app and 2x zoom.
This finding shocked me a lot! What do you think?
It turns out the software decides weather or not to use the actual telephoto lens based on lightning conditions and maybe something else..
Sometimes it actually uses the telephoto, sometimes doesn't...

Tried Open Camera, but couldn't use the wide camera, I just could use with the Sony stock camera.
