I have a problem. when i recharge my phone from 1% to 39% without using the phone. it just stop recharging and discharge instead.. to 36% . i rebooted the phone to restart recharging and i lost -14% so it have 22% left. when my battery got 50% and i reboot one more. the battery got glitched and get +30% more power so it have 80%. i don't know what's going on with the battery. my phone is rooted and i lost warranty... what to do?
normally the battery should not give itself 20-30% more power or lose power when reboot.
UPDATE: My battery is a little bit swollen now. i'm gonna to buy the new battery.

I don't understand very well what you're saying, anyway are you using the default charger or other!? The default battery or a chinese laugh one!? Which rom!? Give more useful info please.

I'm using original Samsung charger, original Samsung battery made my china (NOT replacement) and stock rom.

sounds like it's time for a battery replacement to me. something similar happened to me about 6 months ago and a new battery fixed it

You could also find yourself some batteries on Ebay. Found mine on it, it's been working perfectly ever since. Don't wait until some kind of accident happens.

That's right, there are a few original ones on EBay. But I think if you want the smallest chance on a fake battery, you better look at the phone stores themself.

You can buy a 1700mah battery from the Galaxy Ace II. That's what I have and no complaints so far

yeah... i never use ebay before but i had heard that some people got fake iphone 4s / 5 bought from ebay so that's why i don't trust ebay. i always buy items in my local store (not online) that i trust. that's all

I try not to buy from people with less than a few successful sales. On the other hand, I tend to trust people with hundred of thousands of successful sales, and basically never regret my purchase. But you're absolutely right when you buy from your localstore. At least you don't need to wait weeks before you get your product Anyway, i'll stop talking about Ebay as it's not the main topic

I bought one just for that reason, instead of having 1 battery, I'll soon have 3!
i bought this about a month ago and i love it. The most ive used in one day was two batteries and i just leave the extra in the car. Alot of peace of mind when you know you have 2.5+ days of battery

I bought this back in October and love it. The batteries don't seem to last *quite* as long as the stock, but pretty close. And they're still doing just fine, 6-7 months later. I love the charger - you can use it to charge the battery and the phone simultaneously. Very handy.

I bought 2 batteries and a charger from that same company for my touch pro. The quality was excellent and just about as good as the OEM batteries. I wouldn't say they're 1500... more like 1300 like stock, but still. As stated above, I leave one fully charged in my car, and the either i just put in my pocket as a backup. To say that I'm a "power user" would be an understatement. I'd much rather carry an extra battery than have a bulky 3000+ mah battery bulking up my phone.

As iviyth0s said it is shipping from Hong Kong. I have had stuff shipped from there. Bare minimum it will take 2 weeks. Normally 3 weeks. If it goes past 4 weeks then it got delayed in customs(or worse, lost) and then it is anyones guess when you will get it.

Nope, actually the Mugen battery was more expensive from ebay. And those cheap ones are crap so not even worth the shipping cost.

No, it fits under the standard cover. Tighter fit but it fits.
Have now charged it 3 times and it seems like the battery time is at least 22% longer. Usually I would charge my battery during night and use it during the day. At best it would die when i turn on the screen in the morning if I would have forgot to charge it. But usually it dies around 6 in the evening. So lets say it lasts 12-18 hours in normal use.
The Mugen battery charged during the night lasts for 18-24 hours. So I'm pretty satisfied ;-)

At least 12 hours. I would say around 18 with the latest CyanogenMod 7.1.0 RC13 11.08.14 and things like logging etc. shut off.

That looks like the battery posted before, which was a scam (according to OP).
But It says 100% brand new and the seller got 98% positive feedback, so not sure what to believe...
There are many chinese shops who just snips old batteries to make them fit other phones, that might be the reason for the mixed reviews if the batteries is scam.

Yes I checked them. I was going to order them but then had some shipping issues to my location after which I decided to try the Gold one. Still havent recieved it. Sellers says it will take from 3-4 weeks to reach my location.
Still havent received the gold ones. In the meantime have bought a stock one which is holding quite good.

No cant damage the phone. More capacizy more runtime. Only more voltage can damage the phone. I have a 2450mAH battery in my main Ace. Battery runtime doubled now. But you have to find a good battery and no fake one.

The G2 is over 2 years old now and still kicking for a lot of us, but the battery life has gotten pretty poor. I think a lot of us would be interested in buying a new OEM battery (seems like it is the same for all models) but there's a lot of fakes out there.
If you know where to buy an OEM battery for a reasonable price please post here, maybe with price+shipping.

Dont Know, My Phone is always heated means like i can fry an egg on it,and Battery is terrible,if i charge 100% at night,it will shut down in morning.

Mine almost 1.5 years-old with custom rom, battery is still enough for 1 day, sometimes even more. No big change comparing to what I got at the beginning, so I guess battery is still fine.

I'd email them and confirm you're getting a new one that's been tested before you purchase. That way you won't have problems

I had the same thing happen with two G2 batteries from etradesupply on amazon. Not that they're a disreputable company; it's just that I think it really was a hardware issue that arose after year. Second G2 + that new battery worked fine.

Hey guys. I think I understand what's going on with these batteries.
It's hard to distinguish between true oem vs cheap aftermarket.
My good battery died last week and won't charge.
Now I'm also in the same boat.
Like replacement screens, we also need a good source for batteries. Wish LG sold direct
I'm looking to replace the battery in my N5x. Amazon and eBay have plenty of listings for OEM batteries but many seem sketchy and I assume they're fakes. Does anyone know where we can reliably buy legit LG batteries? Are there any reputable sellers? I would consider a 3rd party manufacturer provided that it has a reputation for quality and is not just selling re-labled knock-offs.

If I were you I would try a top-rated seller on ebay for a good chance that the battery is genuine or brand new. If something goes wrong, you can ask for a refund. That one is missing the logo from the original OEM battery, see here. Also, LG's font on the package is wrong. It changed way before 5X was released to a more rounded font, like on the link I wrote.

I think it's third party battery but it will work just fine I guess. I would prefer the original too. I will keep searching because sometime I will change mine too. If you finally find something that works fine, please let us know.

Months ago I was referred to this website. Please note I've no experience with them, but I was referred to them from this forum.
I ended up buying the Beltron OEM compatible on eBay. If you're not getting OEM (most "OEM" batteries sold online appear to be fake), at least get one with some sort of brand name with a reputation to protect.

In any case I'm quite happy with the Beltron. Been using it for over a month and lifespan seems just as good as the original. Not having the problem some people have with replacements where the phone won't charge over 50%.

got a battery from exactly this seller. took more than a month. 2000mah instead of 2700. Counterfeit obviously.

Did you measure it's capacity using something like AccuBattery? I bought this one and its capacity was close to 2300mah when it had to be 2700.
All in all, I'm at a total loss where to buy a battery that doesn't suck

AccuBattery detects it as 2700mah. Performance is still as good azls OEM after 1 month.

AccuBattery detects it as 2700mah. Performance is still as good azls OEM after 1 month.

Guaranteed its counterfeit . Suspected mine was fake and unwrapped the battery. Mine was padded with some thick paper to make it thicker. Was really 2200mah.
Google or LG need to sell replacement parts.
Thousands of phones end up in landfills because we can't replace the battery.
Did anyone find any reliable battery seller?

I order at rounded. n5x battery and after installed my phone stay always 50% because i faulty connector tha dont connect batery metter pin. I payd 19.45€ for 2.5H SoT battery ?? battery is like all others ebay chinesse

I bought that one and the app accubattery says that the estimated capacity is 1850mah... That's worst than my original 2 years old battery...
I don't recommend it.
I have ordered an original battery from our spare parts suppliers at work.
If I open the nexus already, because of the new 4GB Ram boards, then I exchange the ~3 years old battery with the same.

I bought this one and AccuBattery says it's 2700mAh, don't know if that means anything or not in terms of credibility. It looks authentic on the outside ( I noticed looked the same as the one I had when replacing it ) but I did not inspect carefully, haven't properly tested to see how long it lasts but I think it charges fully, I will test it tonight/tomorrow to tell you if it sucks or not.

edit1: The battery charged to 100% , it seems to really be 2700mAh. Testing SoT now, seeing how long it lasts while playing a youtube video at 1080p with maximum brightness.
