[WIP][MOD]TouchWiz 4 for Galaxy Mini (semi transparent tw3 launcher)

Hey guys!
Today I present you a Semi - Transparent TouchWiz launcher
To make it look Galaxy SII or much like Galaxy Y because on mini it would look like a Galaxy Y
WORKS ONLY IN STOCK
Instructions to install:
I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE IF SOMETHING HAPPENED TO YOUR PHONE, DO IT ON YOUR OWN RISK.
PLEASE BACKUP YOUR ORIGINAL TOUCHWIZ LAUNCHER TO SDCARD AND DOWNLOAD A BACKUP LAUNCHER LIKE LAUNCHER PRO OR GOLAUNCHER IN CASE SOMETHING WENT WRONG.
(YOU HAVE TO BE ROOTED AND YOU NEED ROOT EXPLORER)
Download TouchWiz launcher apk from the link
Open root explorer and copy the downloaded TouchWiz launcher to system/app and replace with the old one, set permissions like rw-r--r--
Then reboot.

Emanon is Stock Custom Rom -.-
and so on, every Launcher will also work on CM7 so

[Q] change s5830i screen lock

hello everybody...
before 6 month I was had ace s5830, but now after replace it by warranty I got ace s5830i ....
I love the slide screen lock in s5830 with android 2.3.3 and of course I hate the new one in 2.3.6 becuse it's not a lock !!
the new one is stupid thing in the android !!
as you know by slide lock you can unlock the screen or make your mobile silent without unlock..
I try some of lock apps but I don't like becuase it doesn't work great!
so how can I add it or replace it ??

You can flash an older firmware for 5830i because all the new firmwares includes the note lockscreen
Pd: i dont know how to flash the 5830i :/ but google is your friend
Pd2:its possible that all the firmwares for 5830i has that lockscreen so ask to another 5830i users for more help

I think that I read some information to change the lock, but it was not for s5830i ..

oops, that wasn't from deoxed rom
in fact there is no one deoxed rom for my galaxy ace s5830i ( XXLB1 )
there is one for ( XXLA2 ) and it's here :

I don't know if it's useful, but we can try to take the android.policy.jar from it

I have XXLB1 version , so it doesn't seem to work
but i try install the XXLA2 version,
and this is what happened :
the Lidroid app doesn't seem to be install !
so i install it manually, but the app does't work !

yeah, it's work ! but the problem is with the transparent, I don't like it & want to remove it .
( if any1 know how to remove it, plz reply )
I think there is another way to get custom lockscreen by making some changes in framework-res.apk,
but I need to look at some guides ( gimme the link of these guide if it really there )

edit1: in chocobread it not work, bootloop.. in galaxy mini GT-5570 samsung logo. you can fix it? i not sure if i give you a logcat :S

[Port] Cm7 from galaxy Y-- LINKS ADDED!

To flash it follow these steps:
1.Install my hells fusion kernel
2.Remove boot.img from the package
3.Boot into cwm recovery
3.Mount everything
4.Format system
5.Mount system
6.Wipe data
7.Install the zip!!
Whats the difference between this build compared to the others? I have the permission from the original dev and others dont

Btw... I am compiling from source currently so I will upload my personal build in few days..

sgy has a cm7 built from source still it has bugs..
same is gonna be with u all..

You can install whitexp's CM7 for the Galaxy Y on our phone and boot it fine with Rafael's kernel. I believe it has the same bugs as reported in your kernel's thread (e.g. telephony doesn't work).
I'm quoting RubenStauttener (I sent him a PM after I read he installed CM asking him if he modified it first or not, this was his reply; I hope he doesn't mind):

Yes but he uploaded a kernel which supports cm7, now he needs a team for building cm7. So it's a new thread.

If I understand you correctly here .. We may use CM7 .. but whether we can use white-xp kernel?

Porting a cm and porting a stock base rom are 2 different things..

First of all i would like to thank hell lock for his contribution to our device.i would have really helped in porting cm7 but my phone got bricked doing some random work so its not with me right now.
Secondly whats wrong with all of you
At one instant you make numerous amount of thread begging for cm7 ports and when we have got someone willing to do this and had even made a kernel for our device without even owning this phone,you all starts acting in starange manner and starts giving order like you want cm7 with whitexp's kernel and ask him to build from source.
I mean will you all help him port whitexp's kernel and will you first help him make it from sources and then sovle the bugs.
The answer is no.most of you will sit in home install the rom and tell about bugs and starts eating their heads to fix those.
So just let this guy port cm7 with his own kernel,with his own way and if anyone here who doesnt want to help and doesnt agree with him,just get lost.

I would help, but I'm a noob devolper and have to do my custom rom first so sorry

just finally got dirvere ..
Hello,
To kick off this new year, I'd like to present an EGL binary from a test build along with a patch to frameworks base.
[-LINK-]
gralloc.default.so
libGLES_hgl.so
[-LINK-]
Some info on the patch:
Switch Looper to use poll() instead of epoll().
The TLS changes are necessary to work with the open sourced kernel.
See following for more info: [-LINK-]
EGL_ANDROID_swap_rectangle has been commented out as it's not supported.
Please let me know if you encounter any issues with the test binary.

But the drivers are actually on "test" . . . so close to get CM7 and so far to have CM9

I tried the driver on my CM7 .. Rom is faster .. but i have a problem with a chisel HW .. and 3d

It's the same GPU so why should we need them compiled for this phone ?
Can't we just port the files, CM7.2 is also ported from the Galaxy Y ?

Yes driver is working, extract it from my rom if u want to, but u can not use it, cause u need tompatch sources in framework, and u can not do it
