Probably if you Repair via PC Companion you will lose Root so I think there is a problem with the Rom. Try instal it again and wipe everything.

It will be close to impossible as the issue can be an App that causes the problem or can be the System corrupted. Also you are using a Pre-Rooted Rom so repair with PCC can complicate the situation. I don't see at the moment any other solution. Maybe someone who had this problem know how to fix it, if so.

Hi all, I encounter problems with 10E stock rom.
When I disconnect data connection and connect it again it fails. I have to manually reboot the phone to get data connection working again.
Does anyone encounter the same problem?
Does anyone know what happens?
Update....
tried also with 10C... same problem.
Sometimes the phone seems unable to enable data connection... I can see up/down arrow blinking (like as the phone is trying to transfer data) but without any data connection.
What can I try?
I just tested on my phone 10E and it works ok... but you could try this:
FLASH 10E, do a FACTORY RESET and see if your problem is solved... don't forget to backup your setting using Titanium Backup, and restore one by one, in this way if the problem is with some software setting you could find it very easy and just do a wipe data on that APP/SETTING!
Why don't you try 10G because it's great

There are also newer update.. I didn't tried yet.
Did you tried newer ones and then preferred 10G?
I'm a little bit tired to change the rom so often and each time install all the apps...
I also noticed that not always a restore from a backup on a different ROM means all works good. So when I definitely choose a ROM I install the apps manually to prevent any side effect.
It started with Market. Whenever I opened it, it would immediately go back to the homescreen. I did a factory reset, but it's still not working.
But that doesn't concern me that much. The problem is, Poweramp and ASTRO file manager started to do the same thing. What should I do now?
Thanks for your answers!
X
Do you have a custom ROM ??
If yes try updating it to the newest version.
If not...
Try using Flashtool to reinstall your OS, but remember to backup your personal stuff... ^^
Reflash the rom again..

I flashed the stock ROM, backed up the apps, and it didn't help it at all.
Its just a S/W issue.
Happened with me too once.
Just repair it with flashtools.
It might work.
(Maybe the problem is that you back up your apps)go to settings and find the apps that forse closing, clear cache and it will be fine maybe clearing data too would help but you will lose your data

managedto get some sort or root but seems only temp root and wont let me flash a recovery because of this aaahhhh
Have you tried:
1. repairing completely with PC Companion;
2. re-rooting?
you should do a
repair with SUS followed by a factory reset (internal wipe) under settings then try rooting it again.

This is a known issue if you have unlocked bootloader.
Some people have gotten it to work, but this seems random.
I had this with the FR FTF, Commercial and Journalist fixed it.

I'm having this issue. Very frustrating. I can't find a download for a commercial or journalist link. If I find one, do I have to do the whole process of clearing, flashing rom, power off, and then flashing FTF again, or do I just re-flash with the new ftf?

Nothing
Fixes for non working camera
1) Clear data for ALL camera related apps in settings
2) Do a factory reset
3) If rooted, enter recovery, clear cache, clear dalvik, reboot
Start with doing (1), see if it works, if not try (2), see if it works then try (3)
Only if all 3 of these options do not work should you try a full reinstall.
Mine just no focus
I can take pic. I am on lb

Thank you - fixed. Even asked if I wanted it to detect the APN for me! Anyone know how to invoke this function again because I reset the APN hoping to connect to the carrier rather than the provider APN, but it just deleted it!

Those will likely do nothing, the error comes from mm-qcamera, which is part of low level libs, clearing dalvik cache is almost always useless. A factory reset won't affect this issue either.
I'm guessing some FTFs carry different versions of camera libs.

yes flashing the commercial-journalist version fixed the issue for me but I lost root and recovery. However, I used fastboot to flash Z1_DooMLoRD_AdvStkKernel_FW-681_v02.img and then flashed the latest Super Su from the new DooMLoRD recovery to re-root the device.

Hi,
after update to 4.4.2, my camera freezes after a few shots.
I made the step 1, rebooted the phone, and now it seems to be ok.
Thanks a lot.
Hello, i have a little problem here. Everytime i reboot my phone the setting in Display about image quality boost (X-reality) deactivates itselt without a reason.
I had root before but i flashed again the .77 firmware without wipes. Problem is still here, is there any solution than wipe everything?

the firmware must be repaired so you need to wipe and reinstall fresh firmware to repair system features

If you have a backup goto recovery an wipe only system partition. Then go to advanced restore->sytem and restore this system partition. In this case you dont touch you personal data.
If you have no backup you have to do a complete new installation like geeks emire said before.

I reverted back to firmware .77 without recovery and root so no backup. However i found out just now that stamina mode does this and it's not bugged.
Thank you through for the suggestions
