I noticed that if I have turned on the face registration in the camera, it gets stuck for 5-10" after I exit. If I have it turned off then everything is fine.
Anyone else can confirm or provide a solution?

Have you tried to flash another ROM to see you still have problem?

No, but as i guess , the problem connected with apps which want to connect to internet, because I turn off internet connection on my phone..
i have other problem with mic, when someone call me their hear me after 2-3 seconds. As I found out, this problem is very spread, but no solution is suggested.
Haven't u updated to 2.3.6? It may solve your voice issues.
Can you figure out apps running in the background that make screen turn on/off?
I installed 2.3.7, but no change, Yes I found that app- it is compass.
Check the settings of that compass whether screen is on/off? Are you using stock or CM ROM? Check also the display settings.

Try lowering your display brightness...that worked for me.
I use CM 7.2, and uninstall that app and everything with display is ok, but mic problem still there is.

After the recent update my touch screen has become slow. Sometimes I have to touch it twice in order for it realize the word or app.
Is this a bug with the new update? Is anyone having this problem?

My wife's phone is exactly the same, very slow to respond and even turn on? Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve (apart from wiping - she would go mad!)

Hey!
I'm really fed up with this phone. I'm personally never buying Sony phones ever again.
However I think you have to wipe the phone through Sony PC software.After that it works just fine.
Do you by chance get fluctuating reception?
I got my new S6 edge about half a month ago. In the start the pedometer was counting steps perfectly, but then it suddenly stopped for no apparent reason. What it does now is that it does not count the steps properly, i go to the gym every day and run for about 20 mins but it only registers 200 steps. I have tried uninstalling and then re installing, removed updates and updated from google play but nothing seems to have worked.
If any one has faced this problem in the past and fixed it, then your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance

Check if your accelerometer works correctly… *#0*# then tap sensors… my first device was DOA with broken accelerometer (stuck X axis). S-health had the same symptoms as yours and camera app was stuck in landscape mode.

I tried using this code but it is not working. I go to the key pad and type *#0*# but nothing happens. I have no idea why this is so.
AFAIK, 'codes' aren't honored by the dialer on Verizon S6/Edge phones.
Anyone ever have one work?

if you can't access samsung's diagnostics screen, download sensor kinetics from google play to check the sensors...

Thnx for letting me know about this app. I downloaded it and checked, the accelorometer is working just fine.
This morning when I woke up I noticed my phone required my pattern lock which means at some point during the night it rebooted. After unlocking I realized my home button was completely unresponsive. Recents and back button work fine.
I've found a lot of information about this issue for the Oneplus 2 and tried some of those suggestions but they haven't worked so far. If I dial *#808# and choose Finger print test it says "The application cannot reach the android service for the sensor"
Has anyone had a similar problem and does anybody have any ideas how to fix it? I've read that factory resetting the phone has fixed similar issues but I wanted to try everything else first.
Btw I'm on stock OOS 3.5.3, unrooted, no modifications.

Yes I've tried rebooting and even system resetting. I just spoke with OnePlus and they said it sounds like a hardware issue and they will cover it under the warranty.
I have updated to Pie yesterday and I found that my GPS is kind of not working.
When I start any navigation app, it gets my position but then it just doesn't work. Also, when I fired up the GPS Status app, I didn't get any GPS fix even after 5 minutes in my car.
Does anyone have the same problem or knows how to fix it? I am afraid that a factory reset won't help.. Should I try to wipe the cache partition?
The phone hasn't been rooted

Hi.
I have the same.
Go to settings, Security and location, Location, Google location accuracy and turn off Increase location accuracy.
When you turn this off, gps will start to work again.

This worked for me, at least I think. I haven't tried to navigate anywhere, yet, but I get stable continuous fixes in my house.

Close the "improve location accuracy" option and everything should be fine! i had the same problem!

Yap... That what I think.
For me it's the same... GPS only work for a couple of minuts
Turn off Increase location accuracy work fine. But tinder stopped working, so i'v re enabled ... and now work fine both Tinder & Maps.
