[Q] Roms that work on HTC One GPE?

Hello,
I'm wondering if all the roms on this HTC One forum work with my HTC One Google Play Edition. Or there are only a few of them that works on my device? Thanks

Any GSM based rom. (This excludes Verizon or Sprint.)

Update 4.2.2

Hello,
This might seem like a silly question, but I "converted" my HTC One to GPE edition. An half hour ago I got a notification that my device was ready to update to 4.2.2. I installed this update, but now I have read that the "normal" HTC One and the GPE have slightly different hardware. Will this cause problems?

Hi, just wondering how I would be able to tell if an HTC One being sold on craigslist is a google play store edition? thanks

It will be difficult to tell if it is a true GPe. I'm not sure you can distinguish between a purchased GPe or a converted GPe. If it boots into sense then that's a sure sign it's not.

i think thats a negative.i have a real gpe but in my att account its showing as an att version of the one. honestly in my opinion the box would be the only way..as it has stock android on it as oppose to sense in the picture

I believe that the google edition is hardware identical to the ATT version, that is what is probably being picked up by ATT.

[HTC One m7] DE ? [Q]

Hello, i own a HTC One M7 since 6 months, and some how i sent it to the factory because of the Camera gradient issue, and after a month i got a new one, everything was similar, until i got a pop-up in May 21th about the new software Release it was the 4.4.2 with Senses 6, i searched the net and saw that this is the Developers Edition (DE) but i can't see any difference in the software information, like i saw one day that the normal one is named HTC One M7 and mine should be named HTC One M7 DE but i can't find it anywhere, and those it restrict something if i want to root, or it comes with S on or S off and what's the difference between them ? Please if anyone can help me and sorry for my bad english, i'm french

It just has to do with updates and one already being unlocked. Its not really important....if you look in bootloader it is s-on because htc wont s-off you....you can do that yourself. I would look at the different guides for rooting and flashing throughout these forums. They will help you alot.

Is there a way to convert The m8 Kardon Edition to the Google Play Edition?

I heard there is a way to convert the phone to Google Play Edition and even update the phone ota and update the phone to 5.1 when its released... Is this true?
