I am sure I am not the only one in this boat, my IMs, contacts and apps are all in Titanium backup on my Microsd and my at&t note 3 now has kk and no root available.
I really need to get to my data.
Google didn't produce much help, ideas please?

Not going to happen... You have to have root.

I don't use it but if you are having problems check the reviews. Also a fix may be to clear the data from manage apps, or use titanium backup to clear the data as it seems more through sometimes.

ive got titanium backup on my phone and im trying to delete the LG facebook, twitter and myspace app but i cannot find them?
how can i delete them?
I can advise system tuner,go to system apps and choose delet. That will do it. But you have to root phone if you didnt. But i think its safer to freeze.

I rooted my at&t note 3 with kingoroot. My question is: if I freeze tethering provisions in titanium backup can they (at&t) detect I'm using my tethering?

There are SOOO many ways a carrier can tell what and where your data is going. Freezing the tethering provisions will enable the tethering feature on your phone. It will not hide your data from your carrier.
I have unlimited data on my attention account so as long as they can't see I'm tethering I'm good.

If your provider see more traffic going through your connection than the phone alone would normally generate then they will assume you are tethering and change your plan and bill you accordingly.
I have hit 16 gigs before. With out root.

Like we said, IF your provider checks. Many are cracking down on data leeches as it is costing them bandwidth that is not being paid for. AT&T comes to mind as they have even announced they will start doing it as of last month or so.
Thanks for all your help guys

My note 3 I got last night isn't giving me the option to restore my play store apps I backed up when I had my one x. It restores everything else just not my apps. I know cm and other aosp roms have this feature. I plan on rooting and using titanium backup bur right now I want to get this to work.

Did you have that option set in your Google account settings? After a reload I make sure these are set then I connect to the play store (after creating a wifi connection) and my apps start downloading.

Yes those were set and play store and wifi set up. I just rooted and installed titanium backup so I just restored my apps that way.

Need some advice on what would be considered the best back up app there is. Let me know what apps everyone is using and what they do/don't do. Thanks

Titanium Backup Pro.
I tried several, but this one works. It has saved me a dozen times at least!

Thanks for the reply, that's the normal one I use but sometimes it's very unstable and some of my apps stop giving me notifications after I restore them. Anyone one else have any suggestions? I've also used helium which is nice but also doesn't work all the time.
