Since I update to 4.3 (.101) [Don't remember this happening with .569] the widget apps like SwithPro, Geek Quote and AppLock widgets load and doesn't work proprely unless I reboot the phone, the widgets from Sony's app work just fine. is here any thing I can do?

use PCC to repair ur firmware.
it seems thr s problem on ur Xperia Home launcher

Go to Settings>Apps>All>Xperia Home>Clear Data
but your Xperia Home settings will be lost,so you will need to rearrange again.
or maybe is the app problem,try to clear data of those widgets apps too.

Is this Car Home by Google? Looks the same; however I noticed the Market Version says my device is not supported.

Interesting. It works, but has some quirks. The music button only seems to work with the google music app. When I try to add other apps to a screen, it only allows me to select launcher apps...

if somebody having galaxy s2 rooted, may be he can do backup using titanium backup to this widget
and we restore that widget to our phone using titanium backup

Here's the famous MiFavor Launcher from ZTE! This is version 1.8.2! I have tried this on several different devices and it worked without a problem!
Features:
-Sorting apps by time installed, top hit and alphabetical.
-Change the order of the apps by your choise
-Hide apps from app drawer (most launchers have this feature locked and payment is required to unlock)
-Multiple screen switching animations
-Organize and remove pages from homescreen
-Change homescreen and lockscreen wallpaper separately
-Change phone and notification ringtone separately
Installation:
1. If your handset is rooted it is recomended to copy "Launcher2.apk" to root/system/app
because some functions may not work if it's not installed as system app
2. If your handset isn't rooted install as normal .apk but you may face problems because it's not a system apk

i still can't add widgets.im running 4.1.2.
So a new update for the YouTube app just appeared that changed the icon and at least for me broke full screen videos as can be seen below. Anyone else updated and have this same issue? Any idea how to fix it except for downgrading?

Yeah, sorry for the wrong section.
I somehow fixed it by restarting my phone, weird though. YouTube seems to be functioning properly now.
Just FYI for the future, it's a good idea to try basic troubleshooting steps such as rebooting, clearing app data, reinstalling etc before creating a thread asking for help.

Android users will be familiar with being able to access Google Now by swiping up from the bottom of the screen. Well Xperia users also have the option of accessing Sony’s “What’s New” app using the same gesture, whether they find What’s New useful or not.
That is now changing as Sony has launched a new update for What’s New that moves the build number from 1.3.A.0.3 to 1.4.A.0.0. The update removes the What’s New shortcut when swiping up from the bottom of the screen. The only other change is there is now more information on media in the detail view. Seems a very handy update for those that were irritated by the What’s New shortcut.
