If you're pre registered the minimum they will pay is $100, that is what makes it a special promotion. The prepaid visa sent back will be a minimum of $100 dollars unless your trade in phone is worth more than it will have more on it.

I sold mine for $200 in almost like new condition, ballistic case, spare battery with charger, and car dock.

I already used the last code, and they will pay 100 regardless of the phone as ling as it's listed.

Make sure to sign the form you are including with the phone.there is no spot for a dig but it is in the fine print

I would really appreciate a spare code as well. I screwed up the first attempt by having to return the phone for quality control issues AFTER I had told HTC the IMEI number. Something to keep in mind is the phone needs to stay active a consecutive 60 days to receive the promotion.

not sure if you can still do it; but there was a promo back in march, signup with your email address. I think registration stopped early april...

Don't get me wrong, but doesn't the Moto X rely on specialised hardware for some of its features.
From what I read the custom SoC on used in the Moto X has a dedicated core for speech processing, to implement always listening feature. If we did that on the Nexus 4 it would be hugely inefficient.

Probably not. A build.prop edit when activating might work but I doubt it.

MOTOXDUMP.zip
well i heard they use one core for it
so i think we got a nexus 4 as quad core
get one core running the voice feature and keep the screen always awake at the cost of the same core
or probably 2 cores
but minimizing the battery is a challenge for a dev i guess

The special cores for the Moto X aren't ARM cores, this is why power consumption is almost none. While the N4 does feature 4 cores, none of them are specialized DSP cores that were purposed to mimic Moto's custom cores. As for the display thing, it is simply not cost effective in anyway. We have a IPS/LCD so the entire display has to be active just to show the display, an AMOLED can turn on individual pixels, which is why active display works on the X.

I knew abt the specialized core and the chip specially they put into it..
Dint knew about the screen..
Well thanks for the well defined explaination..
Hope our devs manage to keep it somewhat near..
Even back at times i used nokia n8 as my daily driver..wherein there was this same active screen clock feature so i guess for everybody else its new..but its been there by nokia without any cost effect..obv devs can port that one..about voice google now..im not sure..cause the chip capability is really unique..even you show us some light about the features porting thing..thanks..really knowledgeable

Totally agree. I honestly just want the always listening Google Now. We have the feature now basically when it starts listening for "Google" while the application is open. I think at least that feature is software/hardware do-able for us. I'd settle for any goody we can get.

screen replacment verizon vs980

ok... i just doped my G2 with a case on it!!! and it cracked in the bottom left corner, before i go ordering a screen online i need to know if i each models screens are interchangeable or do i need to order a specific one for the Verizon vs980 G2? :crying: :crying:

ok thanks anyways i think my G2 is cursed... this is the 2nd time it cracked 1st time it was still under warranty now its not. ironically it cracked in the bottom right corner and the crack goes across to the right, similar to the way it did the last time it cracked...

Themes for liquid smooth v4?

Are there any themes available for liquid smooth v4? I'm using the latest debased build, and have tried the holo dark cm12 theme using the layers manager and it doesn't seem to work...
I'm just looking for a dark theme. This white kills my eyeballs.

I wouldn't trust this. The image is a 1x1 jpg. Most likely a virus in my opinion.

Seems fine to me. The link is for a screen shot of his phone on a respectable site. There are no issues with this link. And has been posted above the issue is quite openly stated. He has a problem with a game.... Any useful suggestions would be welcome.

His wording did not suggest any issues on my mind.
Hopefully someone will be by shortly to assist.

Will probably need someone that has game to verify. Gonna be hard to find someone willing to pay $10 to test it.
