[Q] Need Help, how to get back .nv_data.bak.md5 & .nv_data.bak file in efs folder

help pls,
i have been wrongly delete the .nv_data.bak.md5 & .nv_data.bak file in efs folder without any backup done.
but i still have the file nv_data.bin.md5 & nv_data.bin in efs folder,
and i been Flash from DXJPA , to JPY , to JPU, to JVB , to JVE , to JV5.
what can i do to get back the .nv_data.bak.md5 & .nv_data.bak file in efs folder??
or can i just get the file from another phone and do some editing ??

y not 1 answer to me ?

just copy and paste it on my phone ??
what will happen if i do by this way ?

This file is either removed due to copyright claim or is deleted by the uploader.
i have few friend use SGS phone, i can simple get the file from them ,
the problem is i don't know when will happen if i just copy the file from other SGS phone and paste it on my phone .
the imel number will changes to my friend imel number ?

I dont think your imei changes, but your product code might change. Imei is in "imei" folder.
Ps: Hotfile sucks I uploaded files by myself....

They're the backup files and it won't cause a problem that they're deleted. They should be recreated by rebooting your phone if not, just copy the original files and rename them.
You should definitely disregard previous advice in this thread.

I installed ICS milestone 4 and my efs file corrupted.I can see lost+found folder under efs folder and some such files.Hopefully i have a backup when i first root
So i read some threads but couldn't understand.I tried overwriting my efs folder but the efs folder that is originial goes down to /efs/efs.Under the main efs folder it goes there Ç(
How can i restore my Phone funtion
Please guys help me (

i read on darkyrom http://www.darkyrom.com/community/index.php if you flash a stock rom through odin it may fix it ,ask on there also one of the devs will help you or someone else its pretty friendly

Delete the Efs Folder than replace it

Just flash a stock rom and the IMEI should be restored to normal

tHANKS.Everybody! I just flashed stock JVU from odin .No problems IMEI is back.
But i wonder.When i was on ics milestone 4 ,I change files from restored one (step by step imei file,nv_state file.... when i want to directly overwrite ,my restored efs folder go to /efs/efs.You got that? it goes under to main efs directory.)
Also in the corrupted efs file there was a "lost+found" blank folder.I deleted it but each time i deleted it,it went back Also other files...
Like i said i tried to overwrite all files step by step in restored efs to corrupted efs.It worken i mean my all restored efs went to normal.But my imei was changed 0049... to unknown.So i revert back to stock .And now
I'm using AOKP build 27-3 +devil 1.1.6b cfs kernel No problems at all
Anyone using galaxystmd milestone 4? I tried over 2 times from stock.And my imei was changed.How is that for you?

Unable to copy efs follder via ECS File Manager, or Root Explorer

Guyz my phone is rooted, I used ECS file manager and root explorer, both fail to copy efs folder from backup folder to system root dir. I know the RW option in root explorer..any suggestions? I just wanna copy my efs folder to root system dir

Could you please explain how did you solve the problem.
I'm facing with the same problem.
I cannot copy my EFS backup to EFS folder. It says ther's not enough space .

[Q] Since there is no EFS folder in galaxy mini, where does imei get saved ?

My galaxy mini imei's has been changed to 000000000x, i was searching for efs folder but couldn't find in root directory therefore i am wondering if someone can tell me where is the imei and all the critical information is stored in galaxy mini ?

or in your wrapper box.

First try flashing some firmware
If they don't help then find a way to mount efs directory
You will need to get efs partition somehow

please help EFS File missing..

i have s3 mini /I8190N/
i flash it with z3x and forgate to unchek the ClearEFS option and without baking up the EFS File:crying:
well i tried to serch for EFS file but no luck
if someone can help me with this file please.
