Has anyone tried this before, I am trying to avoid making the phone larger than it is.

That's not really a case. Skinomi skins are the same as Ghost Armor, Invisible Shield, XtremeGuard, PhantomSkinz, etc. It's a wet application screen protector. Not going to protect your phone against drops.

Hi everyone so my nexus came in today I'm scared to use it. I need protection for it. Before I purchased nexus s I already had bought 2 cases one is case mate pop and other is incipio. Is any of these cases good for protection or should I buy new one like different brands? And also case mate came with screen protector should i use that or buy invisible shield or ghost Armor? Please help me im so paranoid but wana use my phone asap. Havnt even turned it on yet.
Thanks
From what I've heard the pop case offers very good protection, and theres alot of debate as far as screen protectors go I personally have one, also if your in nyc and for any reason want to get rid of your incipio feather ill take it from you (only if it's black, blue or red)
I'd suggest putting on the full-body skin on the battery cover and use any case you feel like it. The part that got scratches most is the back plastic cover (and yes the "case" itself can create some scratches too)
For the front, it's up to your taste -- you may like it naked or wanna put some screen protector on it.
If you really want absolute protection, get a full body armor and wrap a case around it. The reason is because although cases protect from drops, they often cause unpleasant scuffs or scratches on the bezel as well as the back of the phone because dust/debris gets in. Getting a full body armor will protect against that, and having the case will prevent from drops as well. For the full body armor, I would recommend either Ghost armor or BSE, but not invisible shield. Invisible shield has a lot more orange peel texture than the other two mentioned. For the case itself, it seems that all of them have pretty good reviews here (both hard and soft cases), it all boils down to personal preference. I would definitely put on the screen protector that you have for now. If later down the road you feel like you're comfortable with your phone and that you don't need it, then you can take it off. Please turn on your phone. Congrats.
Do you have the ghost Armor? I'm going to thier booth this morning. I went to invisible shield the girl there did the worst job putting my screen protector.

I have ghost armor. Good quality, perfect fit, less orange peel texture, and they have lifetime exchange. If there's a booth in your location you could do a direct swap without sending it in.

I've been using stealth shields on mine. Got a set on ebay for around $4 with free shipping. They are tough but a little sticky when using the screen.

Has anybody tried the invisibleSHIELD by ZAGG on the Bioinc yet?
Any ideas of how the screen might look like with invisibleSHIELD on it? any past experiences of the product?
In my opinion, ghost armor is MUCH better. Aside from being a superior material, the cuts are designed so much better, they lay flush and protect every aspect of the phone possible.
Plus ghost armor has kiosks. Have one of the dudes there do it. They are much better at it. I have had perfect installations at the mall by me.

Plus ghost armor has matte material, so you can have the back done in matte and the Bezel done in regular shiny material

Problem is, that I cant find any ghost armor shops. I looked them up online but it looks like they only have locations in the Tri state area. Or am I looking at the wrong place?
This is driving me mad. I ordered some 'military grade' screen protector off ebay. Which you apply using liquid fairy water. And to be honest it is a really good protector apart from leaving indentations when you use the s-pen but thats only noticeable in the right light. This covers the whole face. To the edges.
The problem now is ive ordered 2 cases already which are just a **** build. Some tpu silicone one and a leather flip off ebay. Both dont fit the phone properly. Cant even charge with it on and plus it starts to lift the screen cpver off!
Now i have to order a new screen protector cause its damaged the edges. My question is what case can i get that fits perfectly and is actually a case that cpvers the edges...
Please help its driving me insane searching for cases all day...

Is complete garbage with the note 2. The problem with most of these wet applications is they cut the protector to go out to the curved portion of the note 2 glass. Zagg HD didn't change their cut, it was an attempt to get a less orange peel'ish type of protector. Looks great, then the S-Pen indents the protector itself, and the edges end up peeling from cases and pockets.
Dry application protectors that are as hard as you can find (3-4H rating) have been proven to be the best overall protector for the Note 2.
I have personally wasted money on the following:
Zagg (peeled on the corners) exchanged this at best buy for ...
Zagg HD (peeled on the corners and S-Pen indented protector) took it off and threw it in the trash once it started looking like ass
Ghost Armor (peeled on the corners and S-Pen indented protector) peeling was blamed on the phone and not the product (sorry excuse)
SGP Ultra Crystal (about 4 attempts to get one perfectly centered AND with no particles underneath, because I suck at installing these harder protectors)
I am waiting to try out a Just Like Glass protector so I can personally review it. The only thing that scares me is they sent out a batch that had "a bad cut"... again, no one seems to do it right the first time, with the exception of SGP. I found it strange they created the protector and THEN got a copy of the phone to measure, but hopefully they have fixed this issue.

Garbage with most tpu cases...they push up the screen protector, had the zagg hd and the one in the blue and yellow box tpu cases pushes up on sps that cover the whole front.
Dont get that zagg hd garbage. Xtremeguard are much better and way cheaper. I bought this cheap tpu case from ebay and its horrible. I had to cut my screen protector beacuse this thing fits so tight that it lifts my screen protector. I also had to cut the bottom of the case because the opening for the charger was too small. I went ahead and ordered the official tpu case from samsung and it looks to be a better choice.

So whats the best protector and case combo? Feels like im baby sitting my phone without tbese things.

Right thats it. I thought id use those cheap protectors that they send with the case. Ive installed quite a few overmy past phones. I made sure that tbere was no dust whatsoever by using the light and checking at the correct angle but somehow this pos protector has it as soon as i place it. Now my phone looks like **** with two dust bubbles in the middle of the screen.
I can live with the spen lines. Im going to order that wet apply protector at least that way its perfect. Going insane. Serious.

Get this , its trimed around the edges so it is case friendly.

I'm running the spigen screen protector from amazon and it's sized so that a case won't lift the protector. Very smooth with both the s pen and my fingers. I have it matched with my body glove and it fits perfect.

My cheap ebay case pushed up my even cheaper Xtremeguard screen protector for the first day or two after application, but now it doesn't.I just needed some time to settle in. I have used Zagg, Skinomi, and now these cheapXxtremeguards. I like these the best for a fraction of the cost. I paid five bucks for three of them on ebay.
Does anyone know a wet or dry screen protector that fits with the Seidio Surface case and won't peel off?

I just put on the JLG protector from dba case and it fits almost perfect to the surface case. It's so snug your application of the protector needs to be spot on.
Other than the rainbow affect everyone talks about (only apparent when the screen is off and under florescent lighting) it had to be one of the best protectors I've used.

It doesnt peel off when you slid on the case? Also , how long did you let it settle until you put the surface back on? Thanks for the help I actually ordered the jlg yesterday

I put my case on about two minutes after I put the protector on. The important thing is to be anal retentive when putting on the protector. Lol at the home button portion I made sure the spacing was equal on both sides and on top.
It's almost like the screen protector was designed for this case.

The Spigen SGP protectors fit just fine with the Surface.

What are you talking about? I don't see a Surface screen protector on Spigen's website.
No issues with iSmooth and SURFACE/CONVERT here. Any premium sp with a decent cutout side margin should be fine.

I am wondering, is the otterbox the best screen protector for protection? It seems like it is, since it sits off the screen, and would be really hard to scratch, but is a DBA or Amzer, or one of the just like glass ones better? just wanted to see people's opinions,
Thanks,
Pretty much I want BEST drop/scratch protection!
I ordered a voyager 2 tempered glass screen protector. I HATED that built in screen protector and the plastic protectors don't work for me so well since I work and go to school in full fluorescent lighting. Should be here in a week.

I wouldn't dream of any other case than Otter Box. I've had one on each of my Notes and one on a work phone. Keeps phones in pristine condition.

Top bulky for me I'd rather break my phone on one drop than hide it that much. I use just like glad easy install, that is if You aren't bugged by a wet install. The only thing is it has a rainbow effect to it with the screen off only though so it's not that bad .

I use both the JLG and Defender protectors at the same time. No issues.
The main issue with the Defender is that the gap between the home button can allow dust/sand/grit to get under the protector and scratch it up. The JLG prevents that Also if I swap cases for whatever reason, the screen will still be protected.
I bought a 5 pack or regular ones off amazon and the work great. Had an otterbox but it seemed like the screen protector was super thick.
