Hello.
I was using Windows 7 Starter on my netbook but several days ago I need to change it to Windows XP. Now system can't see my HTC One 801n so I can't transfer files between computer and my phone.
I checked the HTC Sync and some drivers but it doesn't work.
What should I do to transfer files between phone and computer via USB cable? What should I install to make this work?
Thanks in advance for any help

HTC Sync Manager works properly on XP. Try uninstalling the existing program on ur PC and re-install sync manager. Also, uninstall any other phone software like Kies if you have any.

Would appreciate assistance or direction.please.
Been working for 2 weeks on installing on My Nook Color installed with Honeycomb.
I have it imaged on SDHC card and running on Nook. Problem installing Google Apps and Market.
Looks like I have ADB installed correctly in platform tools and in SDK folde.r I have USB folder with , I think, appropriate drivers.
When I connect and then go in device manager to find driver and get to "have disk" and find the "android_winusb" (located in SDK folder usb drivers) and located the bottom where says inf file is not highlighted. Therefore it will not install.
Newbie here, but looks like not recognizing as an inf file?
Seems like I am so close and now just a puzzle I am unable to solve.
Could you or someone assist? It would be much appreciated. I have tried all searches for resolution that I know of.
Thanks.

I had the same problem trying to install the drivers on my Vista laptop. After several attempts to uninstall and re-install the drivers, I was never able to resolve it. My work around was to install ADB & the drivers on my old XP laptop for emergency use. For day to day use with my Windows Vista machine I installed ADB wireless on my Nook and it connects without any problems.

Appreciate the response, thanks.
What is adb wireless and then how did you get google apps and market on the Nook?
Wow-did some research and looks like the perfect application-thanks.
I can not find out how to download the app. I found a site that said "hit break button to see download link".
I do not know what a break button is?
How can I get the adbwireless app?
Much appreciated, thanks.
PS-If I can get that application-how do I get the Google App and Market on the Nook color?
Getting excited here!
Hi all.
I have problem connecting my HTC One to HTC Sync manager.
I've downloaded latest version, HTC One is installed and recognized in system immediatelly and I can move files to it, but in Sync Manager, I don't see it. My HOX worked like charm...
Any additional drivers that I need to install maybe? What can cause this problem?
Thanx.
EDIT: I need this to sync my Outlook contacts on my PC with my HTC One.

Issue solved.
I've needed to DISABLE/ENABLE Develper options and restart phone.
Also, Sync Manager needed to be reintstalled.
Lock pls.
I'm running Windows 8.1 and I can't see the phone's folder structure when I connect it my PC. I installed HTC Sync Manager (2.2.32.0) and it sees my old backups etc, but does not see the phone. I can only see the HTC Sync Manager folder as a CD drive when connected to the PC. I'd like to be able to see the actual file structure on the phone.
Any help? Thanks!

I don't have a problem copying files to it from my Windows 8.1 PC. Do you have USB Debugging enabled in Developer Options?

Hi everyone,
i have a problem with htc sync. When i connect my HTC with my PC (Win7) and start the HTC Sync Manager (3.1.37.2), then first the programm says: phone connected (loading data). After one minute it says: device unavailable. please reconnect your device [4]. I reinstall the newest driver, the newest HTC Sync Manager, restart both my HTC and my Computer, but nothing worked. Can someone help me? I have the newest ViperRom (7.0.2) with ElementalX Kernel (18.0).
Thanks for help

thanks for your answer. The problem is: i want to have my itunes music on my htc one. and with the HTC Sync Manager i can do it without any problems, if the sync manager work
i tried other softwares, and with wondershare mobilego i usually can add my music from itunes to my android device, but unfortunately the program say, that i dont have itunes installed, but i have. With the Sync Manager, i dont have this problem. And the Sync Manager worked one year ago, but since i think 5 month, after an update from HTC Sync Manager, i have this problem. And i cant install an older version, because than the program says, that i have to install the newest version in order to backup my HTC etc.

Don't even get me started on itunes ...if you don't know where your music is located and you rely on these apps to find it for you, you need to spend some time learning computers.

I know exactly where my music is. But I don't want to copy all my music myself on my HTC one, Because my music is sorted by interpreters (windows explorer). I want to copy only some playlists on my HTC. And with the sync manager, this is not a problem. I dont want to create all the playlist on my own, i want to copy them on my HTC. I hope you understand what I mean My english is not very well
