Hi all
Does anyone knows how we can dump (extract) a bootloader from a Sony Xperia Z1 (C6903)? I want to change my (non-able to unlock) bootloader with an (able to unlock) one. Flastool is able to read/write on the bootloaders, but I don't know how to extract and flash it them.
If anyone has an idea please contribute to such an interesting project.

Guys, what do you think, will i be able to flash Japan version of Z by international version of f/w ?
If you're talking about official FTF firmwares then no. And if you're talking about flashable zips through recovery then yes(if you can unlock the bootloader).
No, i`m talking about official FTF. Do you really think that i couldn`t flash FTF from C6603 mobel to SO-02E phone ?
First of all, you will not be able to unlock the bootloader, even if you happened too, then you would need to flash the international version f/w followed by the docomo f/w else it would behave weird.
When you flash the international f/w, you must select only the kernel or system.img (only) and then you must exclude that component while flashing the docomo f/w. This is the way to get root on docomo phones, unless some hack or vulnerability discovered to root it..
Previously I had Xperia Acro S from Japan and this how I got root on it..

i know this is an old thread but just in case anyone is wondering - the answer is "yes" you can flash international .ftf files (C6603) to the SO-02E and it works fine. i know because i do it myself.

Hi

Service provider 0
Corporate 0
SIM 0
but in Configuration i have:
Rooting status:
Bootloader unlock allowed: No
Anyone have any sugestion how to unlock my Xpoeria T bootloader?
I want to have James Bond edition of 4.1.2 rom. Maybe somone have zip version of this rom?
I have ftf file with this rom 9.1.A.0.489 Generic Trade Central Europe.
Its possible to deodex this rom and made zip version to cwm recovery? or How to deodex ftf file and made zip file to cwm recovery(with root)?
You cannot unlock the boot loader if it says it is not allowed
In order to make a. Zip and deodex the room you need to use dsxihdas kitchen. Search for it on xda

I'm not lazy but it's too complicated ;(
could someone do this:
9.1.A.0.489 Generic Trade Central Europe - James Bond Edition with root
Odp: [REQUEST] JamesBond version 4.1.2or unlock BL
You cannot unlock the bootloader with the official method when it says "allowed: No". It's typical for Orange phones, my friend had the same thing on his Orange-branded Xperia Arc S. The only way to unlock the BL is to use testpoint method. But you have to disassemble your phone - take off back cover. And it's not so easy... tried it already. And the next thing - we don't know where the testpoint is...
That exploit had been closed on these phones. It is no longer a working option, and we do know where the test point is...

It does not matter at this moment....(to unlock bl).
What about doing a rom James Bond edition.
I have .sin files from this rom. I use Flashtool and Ext2Read to unpack all files frob JB rom. I dont have idea to root, deodex ant how to creat .zip file to cwm??!!
As I have said, just use the kitchen, it is not tha complicated....

I will tray to make JB 4.1.2 version from ftf files... tbc...
So I've searched and attempted several times using, EMMA, SUS, PCC and various other tools I came across and I've had NO LUCK. I've an LT30P with XperimenT 2.3 installed - not by myself and I'd like to return it to base ATT firmware if I could for a possible sale and an update to the Sony/ATT firmware and JB might help the cause. I know NOTHING and I've learned that apparently the "bootloader" on my machine cannot be unlocked. The phone functions well and there's nothing that I'm aware of that are issues but if asked about ATT and "stock" I can't either explain or say here I'll correct it if you like.
There are no back-ups available on the Internal or 32GB SD card that has been added.
Might this be a "YAWNER" for "gregbradley"? Maybe but I'm prepared for that. Has it been explained or covered? I can't stumble on it. Do I know what to do with the information if it's presented to me? Likely not. Care to help? I'd appreciate it!
Thanks,
-Dave
At the top of this section is the all-in-one sticky thread. There you will find the information you need to restore your phone using FlashTool and an ftf file of the at&t firmware.

But if you need further help after doing the advice from the post above it is OK to PM me and I will guide you through the process.
Stock ATT is. Actually the LT30at not the P. Flash the latest. LT30at ftf file using flashtools to get back to stock.

Use flashtool and flash ATT's FTF. But why would you switch back to att rom when the Xperia T firmware works on all Xperia TL's and is much faster than the stock att. Also the lt30p firmware will most likely get a 4.2.2 than the LT30at

The only way I know Is to get the right ftf file for your handset and flash it back to 4.4.4, if you can't find the right firmware for your phone, then you may have to create your own using xperifirm and flash tool. either way you will keep iemi number and be able to flash it on a locked bootloader.
