[Q] Broken phone, need content. Help :< - HTC Sensation XL

Hello.
A friend of mine broke his phone, twice, somehow. Now the display's not working.
USB3.0 won't recognize it, neither will USB2.0 or anything else for that matter.
The thing is: he really wants the contents of the phone. Pics, music, whatever. But when I plug in the phone, this is all I get:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
(I'm unsure if (F was caused by the broken phone, since it disappeared after a reboot.)
The phone is charging, as the LED appears as red. But when unplugged, it's whining for to be charged, plus the LED's green, like he's got a missed call or an sms or something.p
A picture of the broken phone:
So is there anything at all that he/we can do, without having to spend loads of money on repairs?
Thank you!

Nothing? Seriously? I thought you guys were magicians at this stuff.

"brighter" spot on the screen

Hi,
After months owning an N1, I managed to sell it today and buy a new one (with a guarantee this time) for a little additional money. The problem was, after some time using it, I noticed there is a small problem with the screen: there is a spot near the bottom left corner which seems to be brighter than the rest of the screen, especially when holding the phone in a certain angle. Kind of like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Do you guys know why this could be happening? Anyone has something like it? Is there a way to fix it, or should I send it back to HTC?
Nothing? :-(
Does it have screen protector?

i9000 Won't Turn on After Re-assembly! PLEASE HELP :(

I followed the dis-assembly tut on xda and on Youtube and managed to put everything back together in (more or less) one piece, but now my Galaxy S won't turn on. What'd I do wrong? One thing that I've noticed is that I might have ever so slightly torn the black ribbon cable; the one that connects the capacative buttons to the rest of the phone. But other than that, I'm pretty sure I did everything right. What should I do now? I went through hours upon hours of trouble and followed the tut step by step but I still managed to mess up. What's the best course of action at this point?
Thanks in advance.
Here's a closeup of the torn cable:

ME301T was left on a subwoofer

I left my tablet on a surround sound subwoofer overnight and now it won't turn on other than the screen that shows before the boot screen and only for a few seconds right after it's plugged in. I can't get into recovery, fastboot or anything else. Computer won't read the device.
So... Can someone tell me that there's SOMETHING I can do and that my tablet isn't a fancy paperweight...
TIA

N950U Display Error - Unable to view

Hi, anyone else have an issue with the screen like the display driver crashed? Basically the entire screen is pixelated and illegible.
The digitizer still partially works, but when I tap where the shut down icons should be, nothing happens.
I tried a reboot with Vol Down + Power, but there it just reboots with the same messed up display.
I am also unable to access the bootloader, since it won't properly shut down. Also don't know how to boot into safe mode without being able to read the display.
Called Samsung and T-Mobile, no help there. Any ideas? Much appreciated.
