Hey All
Prepare to laugh --
I've been working with this sweet device and while I was troubleshooting a sprint SIM unlock, I flashed an ADB AT&T Rom, probably should have thought better.
In the end, it's got a locked bootloader now, HBOOT 1.55 S-ON and I can't get anywhere past bootloader.
Accessing the device in bootloader/fastboot yields an "Unrecognized Device". USB 2.0
This is on Windows 8/8.1/ x64 Win 7/XP x32.
Any ideas?
I can accept my shame if this is a bricked phone and no one wants to help me.
If it is bricked, I'll be happy to send it to a known developer for use!

Hi. there. thanks for taking your time to read my thread. I'm really in need of help.
I bricked my phone (Incredible S) by flashing bad radio and managed to unbrick it by sending to service. (the guy used Jtag riffbox)
Now, my current state of my phone is, i'm stuck in the bootloader.
It's stated Security Warning
VIVO PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT- 1.13.0000
RADIO - 3805.06.03.03_M
EMMC-boot
Choosing Recovery also done nothing.
I tried to connect the phone thru USB but it's stated USB deviced not recognised.
What should i do? Now i'm currently redownload htc sync...

While bootlooping, press and hold all 3 buttons to reset the device. While its resetting, let go of the volume up button so you're only pressing volume down and power. The device should then enter bootloader.
Select fastboot from the menu and then you can enter the fastboot command
Code:
fastboot flash unlocktoken unlock_code.bin
this is the same command you used to unlock your phone originally.
Edit: ignore all that, my apologies. Check your drivers.
someone please help me... i really need help. i don't have much time left for now. please

With HBOOT 1.13, you can immediately go to the Revolutionary.io site and get S-Off. That site has all of the drivers and instructions you need. Please read the documentation page carefully and you should be good to go.
Once you have S-Off and custom recovery, you will be able to flash and custom ROM in the Development section.

Thank you for your kind reply. However, since after the unbrick process, i was unable to connect it with my pc, and the revolutionary wont detect my device either.
It stuck in the bootloader..
I tried to flash RUU that match with the radio (2.30.504 something..) but no luck.
The CID is htc__038.
Tried to unlock the bootloader with htcdev but can't get the token because fastboot oem command can't be used.
Sent from my HTC Sensation using xda app-developers app

You wont be able to unlock because that hboot doesn't support it. Can I see a link to the ruu you tried?
Edit: If this service guy flashed your phone to hboot 1.13 with jtag, it's unlikely he used an Indian ruu because they are impossible to find. You need to contact him and find out what he actually did to your phone. What version software he used and did he change your Cid and why he thinks giving you a bootlooping phone is fixing it. Baseband and hboot version is not enough info to be able to help you.
Your PC does not recognize your phone. Do you have drivers installed? Have you entered fastboot mode?
If you're trying to flash ruu's from another region, do you know you need a goldcard? Do you have one? Do you have another phone (android or WP) that you can create a goldcard on?
I tried to update to 4.4, but it gave me a blue screen. I can get into TWRP and Fastboot works.
However, it won't read it as USB on my Windows 8.1, but it sees it on my Windows 7 and OSX. I'm trying everything to get some from of OS running on my HTC One.
Please help me. I'm new to this and I'm scared out of my mind!
If you are soff then connect the phone in fastboot mode and run the google edition ruu.
If not Soff, then post your fastboot getvar all output

How could I check if S-off, and if it is S-off how would I run the google edition Ruu? I have no way to transfer the zip to my phone.
Yes you do. Start searching the guides littered in this forum.

I have S-Off, so would I have to sideload the ROM from OSX to my phone?
If you have S-off then either run ruu or do fastboot flash ruu.zip.. Look up nik71 guide how to do that.

I have had TWRP with no issues
I have the Bigxie ROM installed.
When I try and get S-OFF and try moonshine, I can not find a version to match my HTC One
My phone was bought from Wind Mobile, and ROM IS is GLOBA001
Is there anyone who can assist us who are stuck in this way?
Thank you!
my htc one is stuck in the bootloader with the tampered banner on it, RELOCKED bootloader and also s-on. I have a viper one ROM on it an a twrp custom recovery.. now funny story I guarantee you will laugh. I knew the htc oem update was coming soon so I could get lollipop but I was rooted and couldn't do it. So I was trying to get s-off on my device but I missed a step on some gadget hacks tutorial and locked the bootloader (thats the funny part) then I tried unlocking it again but it didn't work. I tried going into recovery but it just rebooted back to the bootloader. I tried everything in the bootloader options and nothing worked.
my Hboot is version 1.57 and my OS is 6. 10.531.9
I tried flashing a recovery again and I cant do it it says "error cannot load--" and the same with the Unlock_code.bin it just wasn't working? what am I doing wrong and how can i fix it. please its urgent
if you have any answers you can comment here and also e-mail me at [email protected] (I would usually say text me :crying: ) once again please help I don't know what to do next.

Since, you are S-ON with a locked bootloader run this RUU 6.10.531.10. It will put you back at stock, then you can try to unlock you bootloader. To get S-OFF you will need to use Sunshine with your hboot 1.57.

I have a (sprint) H/K edition M8 running 4.4.2 rooted with TWRP recovery, s-on with 1.54.654.13 & SPCS-004. I wish to return to stock to get the Lollipop update and then return to root. Im at a loss as to what to do please help any advice is appreciated.
Check out the thread in the link below. Use the RUU for the HK Lollipop update. You'll need to relock your bootloader before running the RUU. After running the RUU you'll need to unlock your bootloader and reinstall TWRP. You can then flash a ROM.

Connect your phone to your computer. Run the command fastboot oem lock. That will relock your bootloader.
My adb isnt recognizing my phone, have the stock google drivers & htc drivers installed and ive tried with my phone both powered on and in fastboot. I believe there might be a driver issue but im not really sure

Ive already had that installed idk what could be going on
Not to hijack the thread but how do I put it back to 100% stock so I can do a warranty return? I am mostly talking about how to remove s-off. I figure I need to have it back to s-on to do the warranty return.

You have to make sure you install the drivers in recovery, bootloader, and OS
ADB = OS and recovery
Fastboot = hboot/fastbootusb.
The waiting for device might be that you are not in fastbootusb
bootloader says RELOCKED, attempting to run RUU...
successful update, thanks for the help guys. Is there any way to get my on screen buttons changed to the new shape and to root again?

You can install TWRP and root just like you were on any other update. Android version does not matter. Just make sure you unlock the bootloader again, you can use the same unlock token from HTC dev. Then you want to install recovery
Code:
fasboot flash recovery recovery.img
After that, from fastboot, boot into recovery and then reboot system. If you use a newer TWRP it will prompt you to install superSU.
Hey guys, so I tried to unlock my phone to switch over to T-mobile and in the process, I believe I bricked my phone. I followed some very misleading guide, and due to this, my phone is stuck on the RUU screen with the four triangles. To make things worse, my computer (running win 8.1) stopped being able to recognize my phone, so adb and fastboot won't recognize it either (I feel like this happened due to me trying to flash a RUU). I tried several times to re-install drivers to no avail. I don't think I can get to the recovery screen either. Is there any hope in saving this or is it a goner? Thanks.
What I've done so far before this state:
S-OFF
Rooted
changed the CID and MID to T-mobile relevant IDs

if you have used a 1.xx.xxx.x RUU with windows 8.1, thats the problem. When flashing a 1.xx.xxx.x ruu, your bootloader will downgrade to version 1.44. This bootloader version isn't compatible with windows 8.1 (fastboot won't work).
The ruu screen with 4 triangles = incomplete ruu flash. Most likely caused by the computer not being able to flash the entire RUU after hboot 1.44 was flashed.
If using a ruu.exe, you'll need to find a winXP or 7 pc. If using a ruu.zip, you can either use winXP, win7, Linux (recommand ubuntu 12.04 32 bits version) or MacOS.
Btw why did you flashed a ruu to unlock your phone? You know that sim-unlock can be done simply by using a paid code? Or if you have s-off you can sim-unlock for free using the sieempi method.
can you post all the information you can see on the bootloader screen here?
Uh I don't think I can get to the bootloader screen as it is stuck on the RUU screen. Would connecting my phone on linux get some response?

hold volume down and power until the phone reboot in bootloader mode. can you confirm the ruu version used?
I've done that and the screen just turns off and on with the RUU screen with the four triangles still there.
I've also tried connecting my phone on linux, after installing adb and fastboot, but it has given me a "HTC unknown usb device( device failed enumeration) " warning.
I used this ruu after hearing my phone should be using this ruu, I changed the cid to 11111111 and mid to tmobile on the android.info file so it would work
RUU Zip M7_WL_JB_50_VZW_1.10.605.10_decrypted
After flashing this once it gave me the hboot error thing to boot again, but that is when my phone stopped responding to fastboot.

I'm pretty sure your totally wasting your time you can't turn a CDMA Verizon phone into a GSM t-mobile phone by flashing a RUU
your going to end up with a bunch of screwed up partitions
this is how you get fastboot working on windows 8.1 hboot 1.44
