Whenever i try to add new APNs my phone wont save them , the list is always empty . How can i fix this ?
Samsung galaxy S . running stock Android 2.2 ( I9000JXJPE ) voodoo 5.2 kernel .
Are you sure that after you enter the settings you are hitting the menu button and selecting save? Or are you simply hitting the back key after doing so?
If that's not the problem maybe your only options are factory reset or re-flashing firmware.

I am pretty sure i am saving it .
Hmm .. i found this APN manager app in the market . I downloaded it and throught the app i can see a list of APNs , including the ones ive been adding , and i can choose what APN as default and so .
Is the app enough ?
Not really sure about the app as I haven't used or needed it but I'd say give it a go. No harm in trying it I'd say. Hope it works for you.

+ 1 go here and download gbsafe_v5 and samsung drivers are inside the zip. It will remove the old and install the new.

Yah put it in download mode.. Power off phone.. When trying to turn back on Hold power button + volume down and wait till you see an android with a shovel icon.
From here use odin to load a rom

These drivers should work for Odin. Heimdall has a driver remove/install app.

That tool should help you uninstall drivers too. You need to remove then install drivers. I don't think the tool i liked you is specific as it came from Samsung not sprint.

Hey guys! I come from china . this is my first post in this place and my English is very poor.
I have a phone called S3 mini, and I do not know how to enter the recovery mode by combination of buttons
I tried to download from official servers some packages , and use them with Odin ...but the phone is still at the main screen " Samsung Galaxy S III Mini GT-I8190
I'm going to collapse
Could anyone help me ?
Put your phone in USB Debugging mode and send this command via ADB:
Code:
adb reboot recovery
Or, install Terminal Emulator on your phone and write:
Code:
reboot recovery
Here's where I got the info from: [GUIDE] Root for Galaxy S III Mini I8190.
According to FAQ on Samsung official web key combination to access recovery mode should be home+power (without vol up). Not tested!
recovery key combination not working for the moment on a s3 mini.
Instead flash with the "param" in odin found in this thread and it should boot up
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1987976&page=4
Strange. Somehow it is still not clear if this is a bug or a feature..

Hey guys.. Do any of you know where the USC Connection Mode resides in Settings ?? I've changed the connection mode from MTP to PTP when trying to use Helium and now I can't seem to find the connection mode page where I can change back to MTP.. Usually its under Xperia Connectivity>USB Connectivity, but it's just isn't there.. I have also used the search button in the Settings page but still could not find it..
I think you have messed up your systemui.apk file usually The notification bar shows the Type of Connection ...
But still now Visit Play Store and Install "SG USB MASS STORAGE ENABLER APP"
It will mount your device as MTP again!

I've tried your suggestion but the app requires root, which I don't have.. Any other suggestions ??
Messing up with the SystemUI.apk is one thing, but where on earth did Sony hid the USB Connection Mode page anyway ?? There must be a way to access it..
You must ask that to Sony Corporation too???
Having A Root Access is the only solution I have!!!
If Your Phone is in warranty approach the Sevice Centre!!!

I'll be the first person on earth to claim warranty for such small issue then.. Lol haha..
Thats a Thing!!!
Then just wait for an OTA update, it might help!

I'm already on the latest .251 firmware.. I doubt any OTA are coming any time soon.. Thought of doing a phone repair via PC Companion but the problem is my PC doesn't seem to detect my phone.. I'll try rebooting both devices to see if it helps..
