I tried to root last night with the all in one tool kit, and flashes the SuperSU zip to my phone but when I load the app it tells me that there is no SuperSU binary installed. Do I need to just try the process over again?
Flash the latest version of SuperSU that should fix you up.
After the last update of android 5.0.2, 14.5.A.0.270, my phone does not have root access.

"Download .108 stock firmware .ftf file for your z1 then flash it via flash tool.. "
where to find .270 kernel ?
For me kingroot worked perfectly. You must have an Internet connection when you use this app. Next thing to do is recovery installation, I recommend XZDualRecovery 2.8.15. In the last step, install SuperSU v2.49 beta (latest 2.46 don't working) through recovery. SuperSU will remove two kingroot apps, the one which remained remove by yourself.

I do it but everytime need SU kod update????
Hi there. Im currently at STOCK 5.0.2 (retail) with unlocked bootloader and TWRP installed. Ive installed ROOT from the guide in the main thread but ive updated the SuperSU app and now it asks
me to update de binaries but it constanly results in error. Ive reflashed the supersu via recovery but same issue. any solution without wiping and reflashing stock? thx,
Which version of superSU do you flash? 2.4.6? My first thought was delete/uninstall superSU with Titanium, check if everything´s gone with a file explorer, wipe cache/dalivk and reinstall superSU 2.4.6.
Hi. I've successully install TWRP using adb+fastboot.
Now, I want to install root.
I've downloaded supersu.zip file and placed it on my internal root storage.
Then I boot into twrp and flash it with Install zip.
All things seems to be done well.
I reboot: no root, no superSu app.
Any help?

Redownload root or try older or newer version. Try again. It should root your phone or download a rom they come rooted
I need this rom in order to unlock the device with the "device unlock" app. I've tried 10 times already, having the same result. Changed supersu versions a couple of times.
Have you tried version 2.79?

I just rooted my phone with Kingroot and I've installed TWRP Recovery.
Is it ok to flash a SuperSU zip file via recovery?
Or should I uninstall Kingroot first before flashing the SuperSU?
Actually u h have no need to flash SuperSU. Your device is already rooted. SuperSU just roots your phone
Thank you for the clarification!
