wp_mod (system write protection disabling) should not be included, it is a crude hack that can result in data corruption. If you're s-off you don't need it.

I didn't have that issue, but i'll make a new zip with it removed... Thanks!
so I'm s-off now. Will I be able to remove bloat & will it not come back after a reboot? I was just planning on flashing the no patch version.
Maybe dumb question but does this rom include init.d support? Specifically I want to flash the sweep to sleep mod. I had it working until I updated my phone to sprints latest.

I use an app called "extended power menu". Not sure where I got it, but it was in my Titanium backup so I still use it.
Big thanks to whoever that was. But you hit the app, and the reboot menu comes up, even screen off.

If the radio was updated the kernel was almost defintely updated. The updater will install new modules for the new kernel. If you're talking about wp_mod, you don't need it anymore if you're s-off. If you're not s-off, then it'd need to be hexedited to load on the new kernel.

It is a 2.1 feature, but it is buried/hidden in the Incredible Gingerbread update and Sk806 was able to figure out how to unhide it. I think there are still a few features he is trying to get working, but most of it works.

You are right. Unlock is a permanent thing (hardware short). However, some people may want to have the Unlocked text gone if they want to warranty. Does this remove the unlock text? I know regular SBF's remove the unlock text (but phone is still unlocked).

Yes, this is a full, flashable rom. As for Knox, this does not include the new firmware so there is no Knox to be tripped once you flash this.
Even if you ARE on the new firmware though, you have already tripped your Knox flag to 0x1 just by flashing a custom recovery, so flashing this rom will be an after-the-fact matter anyway.
Omg thank you Cnexus!!

Thank you so much, Once you pull the firmware from an OTA device, would it be a just firmware patch flash, or would it be integrated in the rom and have to reflash the rom? Coming from HTC and we were able to just flash firmware separated from rom. Don't want to assume it's the same for samsung. Thanks again

I'm sure someone will come up with the flashable for that soon. When they do, it will just be the firmware, not an entire rom since they are independent of one another.

We CAN make a firmware flashable, it will just be more tedious than pulling from the OTA.zip like before. The firmware partitions from a 4.3 OTA'ED device will need to be pulled using su and dd like so:
Code:
su
dd if=/dev/block/<firmwarePartition1> of=/sdcard/firmware1.img
dd if=/dev/block/<firmwarePartition2> of=/sdcard/firmware2.img
...
And so on for the rest of the firmware
Because once the OTA'ED device boots up again, it will have the patched firmware, so we can just grab it from there and make a flashable. Just one more step really since they decided to patch instead of updating.
Ok I will get that for you buddy so you can do what you do best

Hotspot Hack for deodex OD2
Enables you to use the hotspot. We've all used it, we all know what it does, let's keep this simple.
ONLY TESTED ON L720 MODEL- L720T OWNERS USE AT YOUR OWN RISK
Instructions:
1. Be on a deodexed OD2, if you don't know if your ROM is deodexed ask your developer
2. Have custom recovery (you should already have one if you are deodexed)
3. Make a nandroid backup in case something goes wrong (you will have a bootloop if something does go wrong)
4. Flash zip in recovery
5. Wipe cache and dalvik cache
6. Reboot
7. Booting takes a LONG time, be patient. Once you see "Android is Upgrading" you know you are good. That takes a LONG time too.

Installing this hotspot mod on jtash01's OD2 deodexed causes the "now calling" screen to not appear during phone calls, which makes it really hard to pick up or hang up calls.

Flash one of these-http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=60966290
I can't believe I did that on two mods. I'm uploading a fixed one in a minute. It's crazy that is the first mention with 75 downloads.
The mod is fixed now. There will be no problems with v1.1.

Make sure you flash one of the fixes I linked a few posts above
L720T
Tested it out. Didn't take on the Sprint L720T. Didnt mess up anything to my knowledge. Just didnt work. Running on a deodexed debloated OD2 rom. Wifi doesnt work on it either though.
If your wifi does not work, then how could the hotspot be expected to function?

I'm guessing you flashed the wrong ROM. Make sure the deodexed one is for the L720T, both are out and both are named OD2.

Using debloated OD2 rom. After flash this, nothing happens? Can not find Hotspot option. Any clue?

When I click it, it try to initialize, but then just disonnect and say I am not subscribed to the hotspot feature. Any clue?

That would mean it did not flash. Try replacing the services.jar manually.

I look into that problem and also upload a zip with stock font
Really appreciate it. This rom has potential for sure. Just wish att has an unlocked bootloader.
Cool rom. Liking the font. I was trying to use flashfire to get on another rom, but it crashes instantly. Any thoughts?

FlashFire is a beta app and the date has expired. Please go to the FlashFire thread it's not a Rom issue.
set ur date back to 8/31/2015 it will work
Will this tripped knox?
One needs to install a custom recovery such as TWRP of CWM or a custom kernel to trip knox. Since that can't be done on a locked bootloader. If you've rooted your status will be custom, nevertheless, flashing this or any other stock Rom will not trip Knox
