Upgrade from XS

I just wanted your opinion
Would it be worth switchjng from a xperia s to z? I mean the XS is a great phone but XZ is just sooo awesome!

If you have spare money - don't even think, upgrade. It's a phone you'll be happy with for many many months, and it's so much better than S in almost every aspect.

For those who have had/used both how do the screens compare i was more than happy with my XS.

I have both the S & Z, The Z is so much quicker and responsive everything is just a better experience,
But if money is tight It may be worth waiting to see what the S Jelly Bean experience is like.
Of course if you want the bigger beautiful screen and are in the habit of dropping your phone in the Loo then the upgrade to the Z is a no-brainer easily the best phone available at the moment (In my opinion)

Lol..why wouldnt it be worth it, Z/ZL is better than XS in every aspect and yes the screen is better..

Xperia SP or T

Hi,
I want buy new phone.
I thought about xperia t and SP. I can get them for 1PLN (POLISH).
Please help me choose which is better.

Really depends on what you want your phone for.
If you are a gamer, choose the SP as it has the Adreno 320 which is MILES ahead of the Adreno 225.
If you are a pure photographer, then choose the T, because it has a 13 MP camera while the SP has 8MP
If you are an average person that does some of all of the above, then I'd say the SP is better, because of its wonderful specs and decent camera. No lag at all for me on the SP.

I would choose the SP any day. Not a big fan of arched backs.

SP. Go for SP bro. I am an old user of T. SP is Better tha T.
Only Three things is Better in T.
1) RAM management. Awsom in T.
2) Camera
3) Display. 100 % Better than SP
Other wise SP is the winner..

Better go for SGS III or Nexus 4 or get more money and buy XZ. In Poland different between SP and Z is about $75 - $100 (New SP <-> almost new Z).
I would go for Nexus 4 if I need to choose again (and have not enough money for Z). Always updated custom roms.
I don't regret buying SP but annoying is no CM for C530x yet.

I also tought about buying Xperia T but 2 things made me choose for SP:
- better battery and stamina mode
- more recent so longer updates ( I guess )

Okay. I think I will buy SP. I think only to buy Sony devices because I love it's UI and features. But the last thing is:
1. Is camera good in SP? and does front camera do nice photos?

Its VGA, so don't expect any good HD pictures.
But it will do the job if you are using Face a Unlock or Skype-ing. Its not excellent though....

Then you should choose the nexus 4.
Same GPU but a Quad-Core CPU, + tons of custom ROMs and the latest android available -- just awesome
I wish I could have a nexus 4 but it is not available in my country

Camera in SP is actually better than Z or T. 2 of my friends have a T and a Z. we did a camera comparison test. and guess what, SP was the winner, in low light and outdoor. might have less MP's than the others but the quality is awesome.

Performance wise the SP is close to the N4. Our processor has a high clock speed, we have a better battery and expandable storage. For the price it's a very good 4g phone.
I could have got a better phone but I don't need flagship performance. It's a bit snobby to say this, but I have to raise my eyebrows when people get the most expensive phones and only really use them to make calls, send texts and take basic photos.

Z or ZL?

I've an option of swapping my xperia z for a ZL for a small cost. What do u guys think? I love my ZL but the newer Z is tempting.

Zl is better if you want a compact phone, but i would go for the z, becoz it has more devs.

no..i meant Z..its new in the box. not newer than z1.
BTW i decided against this swap - went to a sony store to check out the Z against my ZL...didnt quite like the bigger size and the flaps ..have a sony digicam with the flap which broke in a year..so not a big fan of that design..plus it feels bigger in hand..so decided to keep my ZL even though the deal itself was definitely good ..

For me, the Z was too big.
Also, because of the shape and backplate, it's not comfortable to hold in 1 hand.
The ZL is much better, 7.5(!!)mm shorter and 2mm narrower.
Also has infrared and camera-button.
Z has more devs and waterproof.
Just decide which are important for you

I've paid 320€ (~$440) for one month old xperia Z... I think $634 is too much... in Europe you can find it new for 450€ (~$620)

A *new* Xperia Z (C6603 = 4G/LTE model) is now €389.09 on Amazon.de. That's approximately $535, so $634 for a 2nd hand is way too much.

so $634 is to much

[Q] Xperia ZR or Note 3 Neo ?

It will be my first android device. Had been using Symbians and iPhones since ages.
When I was looking around, found Xperia line to be disgusting when I heard the reviews from my friends who are facing problems to get their batteries replaced. Sony center is asking for about 15000 rupees (half the phone's MRP).
Anyway, what do you guys suggest between Xperia ZR (available for very cheap 17k and a removable battery) v/s Note 3 Neo (about 27k) ?
My usage are centered on Web Browsing (3G) and Emails for 95% of times, rest 5% is texting, calls etc. No games, no movies/videos, etc. Have iPads for those.
Or some other device in the similar price range, you would like to recommend? (Not finding it worth to spend 35k+ for an android phone).
Any suggestion will be a great help !!
